Parts department rep on the phone advised he could not tell me the size of the rotors because all they can see is the part numbers. I figured, ok that's fine, but when I asked if I could provide him the VIN and he give me the part number so I could find it on my own, he refused to give me the part number. Rep was not helpful and was rude on the phone. I ended up calling a different Infiniti dealership in San Jose and they also advised they couldn't give me the measurements but requested the last 8 of my VIN and then ended up providing me the part numbers. Will not be using this dealer moving forward.

Well I found a gem more like a Diamond Mosses from Protomotive Auto Care responded to my inquiry on yelp and contacted me he quoted a price I took my car in at closing he immediately looked it over BEFORE I left also allowed me to use the new part that I had already purchased and on top of this all my car was ready the next day BEFORE LUNCH. I arrived to pick my car up and received an additional discount on my total auto repair price. Moses have got to have come from God. I contacted 7 Auto Care Shops. We corresponded via email a few times and confirmed that they had the car that I wanted and it was still available. I wanted to negotiate a drive-off price via e-mail since I live in LA and wanted to secure a price that I was happy with before making the 100 mile drive out to Carlsbad. Will introduced me to Ash, his sales manager, and after a few more email exchanges, we agreed to a price that I was happy with. Just like Will, Ash was very friendly and professional in his e-mails to me. I was fearful that they would try to upsell me with add-ons, or make the long drive out there only to find out that the car was no longer available, but those fears were unfounded. Once my husband and I reached the dealership, Ash greeted us immediately, knew exactly who I was, and knew exactly what car and what price we agreed upon. No haggling, no bait-and-switch, no upsell tactics. We were also introduced to Will who showed my husband the vehicle for a test drive. Will was such a car enthusiast like my husband that they spent the next 15 minutes just chatting up about all the previous vehicles they had owned. He was such a pleasure to work with! He walked us through the forms and then brought us over to Leo who worked in the finance department. Just like Ash and Will, Leo was super friendly and personable. He went through our financial documents so efficiently too! The whole process at the dealership took less than 2 hours, including the test drive. My husband and I have purchased over a dozen cars through the years and we both agreed that our experience at AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad was by far the best. Beware of RECOMMENDED services suggested by JUAN at Mazda Carlsbad. At my 32K maintenance…read moreappointment (April 2026) it was recommended I do a Brake Flush and a Coolant Transfer. At the time, I declined because I like to research expensive repairs before proceeding. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment based on the 'Service Due' message on my dashboard. My car has approx 37K miles on it now so it is just out of warranty but due for an oil change & tire rotation. I purchased the service maintenance plan when I purchased the auto in National City (another story) so those services are covered until the plan expires next year. Again both a Brake Flush and a Coolant Transfer was recommended. I said 'yes' to those additional services knowing I had time to research typical cost, etc. for those services. Well, low & behold, I discover that Mazda specs recommend a Coolant flush at 10 years/120K miles! In the meantime, I called a local auto service who was APPALLED that Mazda Carlsbad would 'recommend' service that was unnecessary and didn't correspond to Mazda's official recommended service schedule. So, I called JUAN to discuss this discrepancy (recommending a service 90K miles BEFORE it was necessary). I just got off the phone with him and his attitude was 'it's recommended, but hey, it's your my decision'! Thank you, JUAN for allowing me to make my own decision, you little snake! So, even though I called him out for recommending an unnecessary service he acted as if it was no big deal trying to sell me on something my car didn't really need. Now that my car is out of warranty I will only take it there for oil changes, tire rotation and services covered by the plan until it expires next year. Oh, and by the way it appears that their service personnel seems to be different every time I go there... STAY AWAY FROM MAZDA CARLSBAD. THEY ARE SHADY AF.

Don't waste your time because all you'll get is half ass work and might have your car returned to you with broken parts or missing pieces. I run a car club in the local Murrieta/Temecula area with two of my best friends and we were sponsored by these guys for roughly 7-8 months. It first started out as a good business. Used to be able to make an appointment and roll into their shop to get what I needed done. Rami then made it clear to us when he made the decision that he was doing everything mobile now. Meaning he and whoever his installer was would come to your house or wherever. I recently purchased some halo ring lights for my 2012 Scion tC that go around the bulb housing. I made an appointment and Rami had me drive all the way to fucking Romoland to drop my car off to have the work done at his installers house. Keep in mind it was a 20 mile drive from my house one way. I had to leave my car there for three days and was pretty uncomfortable about leaving my car at a house and a person (the installer) who I've never met before. I got the confirmation that my car Was done three days later. When I went to pick my car up I looked at my halos all excited to see the final product. But it ended in superior disappointment. Rami the fucking idiot told his installer to have my halos put behind the bulb housing so you can't even see the halo rings. You could only see parts of them as I will provide pictures and video of how they turned out and the poor craftsmanship that they did for three fucking days. In the whole job they also broke all my plastic screws that hold a plastic cover in my engine bay. They also broke a clip that holds my bumper up in one part and my bumper is partially hanging a bit. It gets worse from here. I contacted Rami explaining that I was very dissatisfied with the job and I needed to get them fixed. I made an appointment a week later to have them fixed. Rami then texted me the day before I was supposed to have my halos fixed and bailed on me saying that his installer couldn't do it. Then two weeks go by and after messaging him repeatedly not hearing anything from him, my friend who's the founder of our club got into contact with him by phone call And when my friend and Rami were talking, Rami had the audacity to be all pissy and mad at the fact I was repeatedly texting him in an annoyed state of mind asking when I can get my halos fixed as any normal customer would be after receiving a horrible job done to your car. Rami sounded like he was just being a little bitch and insecure. Rami then finally contacted me on Saturday 1/25 saying he could fix them on Sunday 1/26 at 11:00am. Mind you I had to drive to the same fucking place in Romoland 20 miles from my house to drop my car off. I got there at 10:50 to meet up with Rami and his installer to have my halos fixed. Not hearing anything all day after dropping my car off I sent him a text to ask how the progress is going with my car. I then received a text message from Rami saying "oh my installer James had something come up and couldn't get to your car we are sorry for the inconvenience" I was so fucking pissed off at the fact I had to waste my time and my gas and be told empty promises of getting my halos fixed after waiting THREE FUCKING WEEKS!!!! So I warn you ladies and gentlemen, don't waste your time on this fucking asshole of an owner. He is a sorry excuse for an owner that has no customer service or respect for any of his people he does jobs for. I will be attaching the messages I received from him and photos and videos of the poor half ass work done to my car. It stops with me and I don't want any of you out there to be screwed over by this piece of shit.
