Wow this hobby lobby is ginormous! I easily could've gotten lost in here. It's also really clean and organized for the size I was super impressed. Lots of good sales going on too. Large parking lot makes it easy to visit. I stopped in to check out some fun dresser pulls but I needed a large amount that they didn't have in stock. I also checked out picture frames and found some hair bows for my daughter who's on her Minnie Mouse era and some cute mason jar cups. I didn't purchase anything bc I ran out of time but I'll def be back to this location for any and all crafting needs! They have custom framing services, blank t-shirts, kids toys, candy and accessories. As well as decor and furniture at pretty good prices. I didn't chat with any employees but I'm sure if I needed help it would've been welcomed. I love creating beautiful things when I do Macrame handbags, bracelets and necklaces. I also in my free time I enjoy arranging artificial flowers into centerpieces to place on my fireplace mantle. I decided since this Hobby Lobby Store is in very close proximity across the street from the Motel 6, I am currently staying in now , I drove over yesterday afternoon and check out their HUGE selection of Arts and Crafts, and Religious Plaques. I got to the Hobby Lobby Store at 1 p.m. when I walked into the front entrance I saw there was 3 cashiers ringing up their customers purchases. The first thing I noticed was this Hobby Lobby Store is very organized, clean store, and really HUGE! The Hobby Lobby Store has a great selection of arts and crafts items that I will never be disappointed or bored with nothing to do. I saw different size picture frames that are unfinished and can be painted with any kind of colored paint I chose . I also noticed every aisle is very neat and organized in alphabetical order. It's convenient for me and will save me a lot of time. I talked to some of their local customers yesterday afternoon. Their customers are very creative people like myself. Their women employees are very helpful and very knowledgeable and friendly to me in helping me find the things I need. The only item I bought yesterday was a Cross that has one verse in Corinthians. The verse says We walk by FAITH not by sight. In verse 2 CORINTHIANS 5:7. I agree with this statement. I have been a Christian all my life. God does answer our prayers! Horrible customer service! Katherine, Lay & Delila was not helpful at all I asked a specific question about fabric and Delila looked at me as if I were asking for a pound cake recipe! When inquired about the manager; Delila was interested in communicating at that point. No thanks, I will take it up with the manager. I Love Hobby Lobby, everywhere they are located. They have the largest selection of hobby supplies, art, painting, decorating, on and on. It is a huge store with endless variety of items to choose from. You will definitely have to ask for directions. They are heavy into holiday decorating. Every major holiday takes over the store. And seasonal decorating too. Prices are quite reasonable, and I've found many on-sale bargains there. If you can't find the hobbyist and decorating items you are looking for, they may not exist. I went to this venue for fabric. Here we are at the end of spring and their fabric selections were limited to cottons, & satins. I found one bolt of Poly/spandex mix which was attractive. I must admit, I have always been a Michael's shopper. I have so many friends that have always said "You have gotta try Hobby Lobby! They have everything you need " I finally decided to check them out and they did not disappoint! The store is massive! I'm talking humongous! It's in the old Dicks building over near Tri City area! If they weren't closing, I could have spent hours there! I went looking for Christmas decorations and left with much more! They have so many different kinds of crafting supplies, jars, paint supplies, actual paintings, and even furniture! Who in the world would think of Hobby Lobby for furniture?! Well I (stupidly) decided to come in here again assuming that just maybe I might be treated like a human being this time and boy did Hobby Lobby deliver a steaming hot pile of disappointment yet again. I was planning on buying some planner paper and a string of glass beads, but browsed the whole store like I always do at these places. I was pretty much done but had to use the ladies room before checking out, so I asked the very unpleasant blonde female manager to please unlock the restroom and she outright accused me of stealing because the string of beads had rolled underneath the pad of paper in my handbasket as I carried it while walking around. I was absolutely flabbergasted and when I showed her that everything was STILL IN THE DAMN BASKET, she didn't even so much as apologize to me for making me feel like a common criminal. She has the demeanor of a person that can not accept that they are ever at fault, she totally acted like I DESERVED to be falsely accused and profiled. And you call yourselves a Christian company.... Item had a reduced sticker on it and the cashier thought it was too low of a price (4.56) proceeded to call her manager Kelly over and Kelly proceeded to tell me they couldn't honor the price of the sticker and was tearing the sticker off of the item in front of me. I told her it was absurd to not honor the price it was at and she just kept taking the sticker off (which was difficult) She also insinuated that the sticker was on the floor and "someone" put the sticker on. Aka me which is such a weird comment to make as a manager. I've never seen such an incompetent manager. Who tells a customer they can't have an item at what it's listed at when her employees were the one that put it there. 100% reporting to corporate because it's so wild someone would do that. read more

First, not so sure why there so many negative reviews. I have found this tore to be great. It is located in a nice area and the store itself is always carrying so many really cool household products and is very clean. The customer service has also been very friendly. In fact, once they let me bring my dog in with me (emotional support animal) and a group of us carried her around with us (on a blanket, in a shopping basket) hehe. The last time I went we were looking for a lamp and a table, and we found so many different things to look at for decorating or homes such as wonderful sculptures (which my mom bought), canvas photos (omg, I love them so much), shelving, mirrors and so many different types of throw pillows (bought one of those), and they even had some food (little chocolate bars) which we bought. I find this place actually very soothing. There is so many things to buy but also a lot to just look at for future decorations and ideas. They did have a very very long line and we had some issues with purchasing using a credit card. We had a to hold up the line a while and not quite sure what was going on, so that is my only reason for the 4 stars for now. I might update this when i go back again. read more

I started going in here when the Michael's framing department took a major downward spiral. The framing department at Hobby Lobby with Elizabeth, Sam, and the other gentleman, who I forgot to get his name, have been absolutely spectacular. The frames are always reasonably priced, the quality is top notch, and they get the pieces back quickly. Other parts of the store are usually well stocked and organized. The staff around the store are always kind and knowledgeable. Definitely a great place for framing and crafting needs. read more

Came to return wooden clips (4.99) with receipt and was told I couldn't get a return because the cashier who rung it up typed it under the wrong department and they couldn't verify that was the correct item. Oh my once you enter the store, which is nice and clean but be expected that the Customer Service it's horrible the managers and employees they will follow you everywhere you go harass every single customer that comes in is a prospect robber according to them they smile at you But they follow everyone and accusehim or stealing. Customer service here sucks if I am being completely honest starting off with fabric lady marked wrong price for 2 yards of fabric which were supposed to be 10.78 but put them as 10.99, once I got to the register the lady said she was confused and that's when I realized the price was off and told her what the price should be she called off here manager and ask the cashier what was wrong and the lady said I was wrong. The manager the looks at my fabric price and tells me it's only off by one cent and then brings me to another person and then does the actual calculations and was like oh it's twenty cents, annoying honestly. Also bought a wireless charger which happened to be a display only, which the manager starts looking for the actual product in the register and then starts acting a bit crazy because someone moved them to the office and we waited about twelve minutes to get the charger and they didn't even give it to us we had to go up to them and ask for it (it was already paid). It was annoying and the way they rudely acted towards me when I was never rude to the original cashier nor to any of the other works. I know some of you will read this and say it's just twenty cents but at the end of the day it's how they run the store if I was a different person I would have made a scandal about it, I love hobby lobby but will never return to this location and I know some of you would not like to be treated like this either, no one should treat another the way I was treated here period. I would give no stars. I have never in my life thought a Christian based company would racial profile and harass an innocent woman with a three year old child. They assumed and accused the child of stealing a candy off the shelf. The mom had her child in the cart the whole time. There was no way the child could have stolen the candy bar. The cashier would not let the mom explain and show her receipt of the candy. Two employees held her hostage and would not let her leave the store while they checked the camera. The mom had to have a stranger go to her car to get the receipt of the candy. The mother was in total destress. After they reviewed the cameras and saw the child did in fact walk in the store with the candy they let the mom go. The cashier who rudely accused the mom of stealing would not analogize to the mom. The mom is a widowed woman and is raising two kids on her own. There is a police report filed. She had a huge panic attack and had to go to the urgent care for treatment. I will no longer be a customer to a company who allows harassment and racism while claiming to be a good Christian company. read more

This store is brand new. It is very large, clean and has a ton of decor. If you love fake flowers, fabric, candles, holiday items, jesus stuff and much more, then this is your place. They had a lot of sales going on. There was many employees in the store but no one offered assistance. They are closed on Sundays. I don't think I will be back. read more

When you walk in it's huge, clean, organized, and you have a wide selection of things. You can pretty much say it's like comparing a Target to a Wal mart. Hobby Lobby is the bomb! I have to warn the reader in advance that when you go into this store, you think you will spend 20-30 minutes and end up being there for hours! I really liked the way this Hobby Lobby was structured. The middle is primarily home decor and the side wings have extensions (the right side had toys, a spring collection, crafts and the left had specific motifs like Christmas, beach, etc) I could see that people are constantly attentive and often restocking and cleaning up. I love Hobby Lobby but this location is terrible. The customer service is appalling. They still have all the inventory that anyone could ever ask for but the staff is just the worst. Every experience from the person on the loudspeaker announcing that it is almost closing time to the staff at the registers are either rude sounding or just make you feel like you're inconveniencing them in some way. I even emailed a question once to the store and my reply was short and curt sounding. I generally just avoid this store and either go to Michael's or Joann's or visit the San Marcos store. Had a horrible experience with their customer service. I asked the manager about the sizing for some wooden slices I wanted to purchase (I wanted slightly bigger ones). Obviously it's understandable that shape and size slightly differ because they're made from real tree slices, but they're also priced by (large, medium, small). So I wanted the bigger ones, instead of helping with that the manager Kelly (tall, thin, blond, older about 60s) says to me "well they're trees, trees grow in different shapes and sizes" as if to insinuate I'm stupid and don't understand that. I just chuckled and said "that's nice, very nice thing to say". I am truly appalled, I worked in customer service for 6 years and if I ever spoke back that way to a customer, I would've been out of a job. This was my first time at Hobby Lobby, and I thought it was a funny place with aisles and aisles of: crappy overpriced decor, low quality art supplies, craft supplies for old ladies, and an entire aisle dedicated to crosses and Christian decor. And I've never seen so many plastic flowers. They have sales, but their home decor has items that are so overpriced to begin with, that it's not a good deal. Well my mom died a few days ago I went to hobby lobby to buy stuff to brighten up our room I had some money spend and I picked stuff only from sale tables being I just spent money on a funeral I went to cashier paid her in 20's where she spent at least ten min telling me my money wasn't real ? By her looking at it ? Not only was I embarrassed but I felt harassed . I said umm I just got my money from the atm she stated she understood but it wasn't good money ? Very poor product selection, zero customer service and horrible prices. How is this place in business?

I absolutely love hobby lobby but I have never experienced such poor customer service. I purchased a small amount of items and I was charged wrong and it added $90 to my purchase. I noticed after the purchase and waited in the return line for about 25 minutes and then was told I needed the items to make sure I wasn't stealing anything. I had to go back to my car to get the items and then the cashier was helping someone else. I insisted assistance from someone else and then two people helped but were unclear of the issue. I was charged wrong and the transaction wasn't voided. After so long I got my money back. Seriously debating coming back. read more
