First off, I LOVE this store and the brand but had to share this experience. I placed an order on Black Friday online and picked it up in store. I had selected for all of my items to be wrapped individually. When I got the order in store, they were not gift wrapped. I asked the girls at the counter in they could wrap them. They pulled out the boxes and one of the girls started to put the items in the boxes for me and the other grabbed it out of her hand and just handed me a bag of boxes to wrap myself. I love to shop here for gifts because it is so easy. I was disappointed I even asked about if they could wrap them and she handed me gift tags.. There was no one else in the store so it was not that they were too busy. I will be back but hope to not have a similar experience especially after spending over $350 for just this order alone. read more

I used to come here often, not that I love the selection, but they are the only store selling solid gold jewelry at consistent prices. Although the prices aren't great, I would come in once or twice to pick something out. My first visit which was maybe a year and a half ago was mediocre, the sales rep was a bit snooty but I got what I needed. Second time,about a year ago, the woman at the front desk was so kind and friendly it almost saved my idea of this location! But last visit, I came in with a close friend. While neither of us look like the typical shopper at gorjana, we were fully intending to shop. No one greeted us as we came in, which I excused as it was packed with pre-Christmas shoppers. At the middle jewelry case I was less than two feet away from a sales rep and when she said welcome in, my friend and I looked up to smile back, only to notice she was not addressing us. She looked down at me and smirked slightly, saying nothing. I was annoyed so I thought I'd get my ring polished and get out. The reps at the desk didn't believe me when I told them it was gorjana, solid gold, from this location specifically. One spent over a minute inspecting it to determine. She reluctantly said it would be a few minutes. Eventually she came back out with it still wet, and dropped it in my hand without polishing it like usual. I felt so belittled. Never spending my money here again! I honestly feel kinda gross wearing the ring I got here as it was sentimental but now just reminds me of judgy jewelry peddlers. read more

First of all, the sales girls were super nice and greeted me and my grandma as soon as we walked in the door. Then they checked in with us to make sure we were finding everything okay and even showed us all the newest styles. My gram found a pair of earrings that she loved and the girl that rang us up even gift wrapped them for her! Had a great visit yesterday. Even though I didn't buy anything on this trip, I wanted to shoutout the great service I received. I was promptly seen to by a sales associate (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name). She helped me and my sister with finding out our ring sizes, showed us rings, and went through band styles of both the plated and filled collections. She was truly so great and helpful and friendly. Ignore the negative reviews. All of my experiences at this location have been lovely. The girls are always very sweet, greet me when I arrive in store, helpful and polite. Their replacement policy is absolutely stellar. Two of my charms got damaged & they sent new ones for free without me needing to send the old ones back. When the clasp stopped working on my charm bracelet, I came in to see if it could be repaired or replaced. One of the girls greeted me kindly, looked at my bracelet, then replaced it for no charge! She even moved my charms from the old bracelet onto the new one. If you have any problems with your jewelry at all, they are so kind and very eager to help you repair/replace. I have been to this location before and was not very happy with the people that helped me. Today I decided to try again, and I am glad I did. The most thoughtful and helpful salesperson, Arianna, helped me and I had the best experience ever! She was patient and recommended pieces that she thought I would like and spent the time listening to what I liked and did not like and what I was needing. I had my first gorjana experience the other day and it was fabulous! I went in with a slight idea of what I thought I wanted, but had never been to a gorjana store or tried any of the jewelry so I was excited to learn about the different styles. Lexi greeted me and was amazing the entire interaction! She was patient and worked with me as we moved across the store to find the perfect sets of earrings and layering necklaces. My daughter loves this jewelry. This location is closest for us so we have been there a number of times. I have to repeat what others have said - the customer service is disappointing, and in some cases rude. On numerous occasions my teenager has gone in there alone to get a gift for a friend, or in a more recent case to spend the bday money she got, only to be ignored by staff. This is a regular thing when she is there alone. I would not bother to write this review except that we were in the UTC store recently and it was the complete opposite experience. She was helped long before I entered the store. Several sales people asked her if they could help and then did so. So I am left wondering if there is something about this location - maybe it's too busy, maybe they have some issue that causes then to give their attention to certain types of customers. Every time I go to Venice, CA I like to pop into Gorjana for a gemstone bracelet. I had a wonderful experience with Liv today. She was charming, personable, real, and most importantly, enthusiastic about Gorjana's jewelry. She was a breath of fresh air in a realm usually populated by the snooty, stuffy, pushy, or miserable salesperson. She definitely knows how to sell with a natural flair, and just by being herself and seemingly honest. The store is gorgeous. Open, light, airy... beachy bougie but in a good way. I could have just walked around and had a glass of champagne if that had been an option, but we needed our faculties to open necklace and bracelet clasps so that was probably for the best. They have every day wear jewelry that's 14k gold plated and they have solid gold statement pieces. Most pieces are on trend and fall on the more dainty and delicate side. If you're in the market for some beautiful yellow gold every day wear layering pieces that are somewhat reasonably priced , this is your place. I'll keep collecting my gem stone bracelets for sure, but since Gorjana is only 5 minutes away now and not an hour or two, I might have to come up with more excuses to get them. (The excuse can't be that I happened to be in LA anymore.) I will say I wish Gorjana designed chunkier rings that do not have a design in the center. I'd love to find some big, juicy, genuine gem stone rings in gold plated and regular gold. Perhaps that's on the horizon. I'd also love to see charms for a more mature market. A little less "heartbreaker" necklace charm that feels a bit youthful in the vein of a BFF charm, and a little more of the little fresh water pearl and deco looking one I found today. Or at least more of a mix. :) Either way this store has found the right clientele (next to Lululemon and Apple and ummm across from Anthropology) and if they keep choosing employees like Liv, they will do VERY well here. Oh- I did have an issue with a necklace kinking when I took it home and out of the bag and I called right away. I found out they have a lifetime happiness guarantee on their pieces. I stopped in with my sister to purchase a necklace for my sister's mother in law who was visiting from Italy. We wanted to get her something made in California since it was her first time visiting the US. The employees stood around the cash register and were not very engaging with any of the customers in the store. We did manage to find something suitable but the jewlery is honestly nothing better than you can find on Etsy and is way overpriced -for what it is. Also, they do not have gift boxes. If I am paying over $120 for a piece of Jewlery, I at least expect a small box and not a tweed bag that is going to cause the jewelry to get all tangled. We intended to spend more but the whole atmosphere was just very off-putting. read more

All of my jewelry is from this store, this exact location. I love gorjana so much and my favorite ring oddly tarnished even though I never wear it in water. I went in to get a replacement and the lady working tonight was extremely rude to me. She said they were sold out of the ring and didn't offer me alternative options. I asked if I could get it shipped to my new address since I leave for school in a few days. She ROLLED her eyes and said sure. Then after waiting about 5 minutes she shouted from across the store " so what's your address!!!???" I am a very friendly and nice person and this lady was just straight up rude even when I was nothing but thankful for her terrible help. I asked her simple questions about delivery time and tracking the package and she gave short answers acting as if I'm bothering her. I never leave reviews but I feel this is necessary. Replaced my necklace when it broke a couple years after it was purchased. Would buy here again!

Terrible customer service. I gave my wife a necklace for Christmas that I bought in early December. When my wife tried to return it on January 10, they would not give us a refund. Their policy is to return items within 30 days. My wife did not realize this as it was a gift. The sales rep spoke with the manager and they again refused to give us our money back. The manager did not have the courtesy to come over and explain why they would not give us a refund. At first they wanted to give us store credit (to be used that day in the store), but then agreed to give us a gift card that could only be used in their store (at a future date). This was a gift and my wife had been sick after Christmas and didn't realize she didn't want the necklace until after the new year. I highly recommend that you stay away from this store because of their terrible customer service. Their jewelry also looks cheap. read more
