I took a look on Yelp to see what's near us (south Carlsbad), and Leucadia Rocks popped up as just a few miles away, with rather stellar reviews. So I took a drive attempted to find the place (note - do NOT use BMW GPS, or you'll end up in Oceanside...go figure), and finally found this little hole in the wall shop (and typical for Leucadia, no parking to speak of). While a hole in the wall, this place is packed with jewelry! I talked with Megan (owner) about getting the necklace fixed, she took a look at it, said no problem, it'd be a week, gave me a receipt, and I was on my way. Fast forward six days, I get a text stating that the necklace is ready. I cruised down, she showed me her work (I'd challenge anyone to find where the break was.....she is THAT good), and charged me a pretty minimal fee for such quality work. This is a hidden gem that I'm so glad I found! I brought my gold ring in as one of the prongs came off and the diamond was jiggling around. The gal was so sweet, even suggested I redo the other 3 prongs, showed me the ring under a microscope to show how worn down they were! I would never have known! I wear my jewelry constantly so I don't realize how beat up prongs get. I had her do express repair since I hate parting with my jewelry for long and it was done by 1pm the next day!
