I searched high and low for the perfect jeweler in San Diego, and after a friend recommended Robere's, I'm so glad we found them! Jonathan and Robere are both incredibly kind, professional, patient, and meticulous when it comes to every detail. Jonathan worked with us over the course of several weeks to create the perfect engagement ring, and we truly could not be happier with the final result. He took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted, answer all of our questions, and make sure every detail was perfect. The entire experience felt personal and never rushed or pressured, which made such an important purchase even more special. Since then, we've recommended Robere's to friends and family for jewelry repairs and any other jewelry needs, and we'll absolutely continue to do so. We're so grateful to Jonathan and Robere for their incredible work and such a wonderful experience. Five stars all around! read more

Ear piercing review at Robere's Jewerly. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this jewelry store actually does ear piercings for children. They use an ear-piercing gun and have a decent variety of studs to choose from. The stud metals include 14-karat white and yellow gold, surgical steel, and titanium. The procedure itself was very quick and, according to my child, was completely painless. The price for the piercing and earrings (a set) together was $125. No appointment was required, which made it very easy. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a local ear-piercing spot and you don't want to go to a tattoo shop or an adult piercing place that would likely charge you a lot more. I thought the price was very reasonable for services provided. read more

I can't say enough good things about Roberes Jewelry! They repaired my the prongs on my center diamond for my wedding ring last year after one of the prongs bent away from the diamond and when two diamonds fell out of my wedding band I returned to them for help. They replaced the lost diamonds and repronged the entire ring so I don't lose any more diamonds. My ring looks (and feels) as secure as the day I got it, ma even better. The staff was friendly, communicated clearly about what needed to be done, and the price was fair. I trust them completely with something so sentimental. Highly recommend to anyone needing jewelry repair! read more

I thought I needed to get my ring resized and came here for an estimate. Sky told me it would be $165. But then she looked at the fit and told me that I should not get it resized! It is occasionally bothering me now Under the ring, but she said that is just moisture and that making it bigger was a bad idea. So I left with good advice and not having to pay anything. Glad to know they are honest here and I will consider using them again! read more

Be carful with your jewelry here! I took my gold chain and when I went to pick it up, I took the bag and left without looking at it. The Dad charged me $15 more than what the Son told me but I just paid it anyways. When I got home, I noticed the chain looked completely different. My son noticed it too as well as his girlfriend. I can't prove it, but I think they switched my chain. It is much thinner and appears to be a different style. I hate shady businesses . I wish I took a picture of my chain up close. Having much regrets now. I want my chain back. read more

Incredibly helpful repairing a bracelet that had sentimental value, and went out of their way to make sure it was repaired beautifully.

Robere and Jon are exemplary gentlemen. Every question I had was answered promptly, and I received excellent service throughout the process. Jon was primarily responsible for overseeing my purchase and went above and beyond to help me meet a very tight deadline. I'd recommend doing your homework beforehand to be familiar with options--it really helped make my experience even better. Please support your local small businesses! Thank you, Robere and Jon. read more

Jonathan and his team were excellent, professional and paid attention to detail. He made me a beautiful ring with attention to detail of what I wanted and the pictures I provided. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on this ring, and more importantly it's exactly what I wanted. read more

They helped me out with some old watches and the fitting. Roberes was accommodating and personable. Thank you!

I just picked up my silver ring that needed repair from Robere himself! And my ring is stunningly beautiful, completely restored beyond what I thought or expected. His kindness and professionalism were remarkable, and he promised the ring would look better than it ever had and he is absolutely right! It is more beautiful than I ever remembered. My particular repair required additional silver and artistic craftsmanship and they made it look perfect and beautiful. Thank you Robere's Jewelry! I highly and wholeheartedly recommend. :D read more

I had such an incredible experience at Roberes Jewelry today that I just had to share it! I came in with two very special pieces--my platinum wedding band (which had become too tight) and my platinum marquis-cut wedding ring, which had a prong that was so sharp it kept snagging my clothes. I was nervous about leaving such precious jewelry anywhere, but from the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The customer service at Roberes is exceptional. I was warmly welcomed, truly listened to, and treated with the utmost respect and care. They patiently answered what must have been a thousand questions with such kindness and professionalism--it was clear they really know their craft. What I thought would be a multi-day repair turned into a jaw-dropping surprise: I came back just ONE hour later and both pieces were beautifully and flawlessly repaired! The resizing of my band is perfect, and my engagement ring now feels smooth and secure with no more snagging. Best of all, my diamonds are sparkling like new, and I can finally wear them safely and comfortably again. I'm so grateful for the level of care and expertise Roberes provided. They're highly reliable, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely lovely people. I will 100% be bringing any and all future jewelry repairs here--and recommending them to absolutely everyone I know! Thank you so much, Roberes! You brought my most meaningful jewelry back to life. read more

Great support and expertise received today from Robere's ! I very highly recommend them for any jewelry needs - purchase or repair !!

I had a watch serviced and refurbished at Robert's and could not be happier! I am an armature watch maker and know quality work when I see it. I put the watch on a time grapher before and after the service and wow did they regulate this watch to almost a 0 loss or gain in time. Friendly and very fair. read more

Done -- here it is with the third paragraph removed: I cannot say enough good things about Antoinette and Skye. From the moment I walked into the store, they treated me with so much care, respect, and genuine kindness. Buying an engagement ring can be stressful, but they made the entire experience feel exciting, personal, and honestly unforgettable. They went above and beyond -- pulling every string, exploring every option, and making sure I got exactly what I wanted for my fiancé. It never felt rushed or transactional; they truly cared about helping me make the right choice and stayed patient and supportive through the whole process. If you're considering this jewelry shop, do yourself a favor and ask for them. You won't find better people to guide you through something this important. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Beautiful jewelry! I dropped off some earrings to be repaired and they did a beautiful job! Definitely will be coming back.

I needed my watch time changed because I couldnt figure out the time handle and they fixed it in 2 seconds! Very helpful!

Super quick and easy fix for my clasp! Excellent service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

We are absolutely thrilled with Robere. There are no words to describe how grateful we are that we found this extraordinary family owned jewelry store and repair. We brought my hand mined, European cut diamond for setting repairs. We did not want the setting to change. Yet we were concerned about the diamond being secure. Robere explained everything he was going to do. Told us if we were not one hundred percent satisfied he wouldn't charge us. My ring looks spectacular! It is absolutely gorgeous beyond anything I could have envisioned! My husband is so pleased! That in itself speaks volumes. We will never use another jeweler!! Robere's is simply the best! read more

Amazing service. Great help and very fast. Nice store and very clean. great owned too.

Very happy with Robere's pricing, quality, and personal service on watch maintenance and on replacing the crown of an engagement ring.

Robere absolutely did an amazing repair work on my gorgeous ruby & diamond ring. Because it's a family piece and over 100 years old it was important to find a jeweler I can trust. Robere is that jeweler. read more

Robere resized my ring same day and both he and Antoinette were so helpful and pleasant to work with!

The broken clasp on my bracelet was replaced with a new one which broke 3 days later. With the bracelet and receipt, I returned to the store and was told I would have to pay for a new one clasp. Their guarantee was not honored. I did not purchase a new one. In addition to that, they tore my receipt into several pieces and threw it in the trash can. read more

I was overwhelmed when I picked up my new "Past, Present and Future" engagement ring that Robere's made for me to celebrate 40 years together.. pictures do not do it justice to show you its brilliance and refraction nor describe it's comfortable fit. Using our diamond from our 20 years engagement ring to represent our past together, a lab diamond made for the center and a center for our bright future Robere's created my ring - and it is stunning. On either side sit our original bi-wedding bands, cleaned sized and polish. The ring also has CLIQ technology so that in the event I have to take it off, it clicks apart in the back - highly recommend. Jonathan helped with to create a symbolic ring for my husband who had lost his. They cleaned and resized two rings beautifully for me. Thank you!! read more

I stopped by this jewelry shop thinking my bracelet was real gold, but it turned out it wasn't. Even so, Robere went out of his way to help me and still fixed it without hesitation! That level of kindness and professionalism really stood out. It's rare to find someone who's willing to help regardless of the situation. I truly appreciated the honesty and the great service, highly recommend! :) read more

I brought my wedding ring and band into Robere's after 35 years. I wanted to be sure the prongs etc were Ok. Also my husband's Naval Academy ring no longer fit his finger (the ring is very intricate). Our rings now look stunning. Robere switched out small rubies in my ring for prettier ones that were my mom's. The prongs were changed and the backs of my rings were built up. The academy ring looks brand new. - I can't help but stare at my rings and Robere and Skye were so sweet and kind. It's a wonderful jewelry store with many years of experience!! Thank you Robere!!!! read more

Robere did an amazing job with my wedding bands. I needed them soldered together to create a guard around my engagement ring without touching the ER and he did a perfect job!! It's beautiful and well done. He was kind, professional, and prompt. It was finished as promised and in time for New Years. High recommend! read more

Very great experience. 24 hour turn around on a chain for my diamond necklace. Very kind people and professional. Highly recommend!

Had several pieces worked on and can't say I'm particularly happy with any of them. Necklace chain has a bulge at the repair so will probably just get a new one made, also didn't polish, item plated looks like chrome not gold, etc, etc. Very spendy for quality of repair. read more

Great service! Friendly, honest, and communicative for our repair. Happily recommended if you need a jeweler.
