Before coming here to help me with my Baume and Mercier watch I went to a high-end Del Mar jeweler who gave me 30 secs of his time (opened the watch and didn't even close it properly). I then went here and they explained everything about what I need to consider in order to repair it. ( stopped working after water got in). I wanted to give a tip & they wouldn't accept it! It's a family-owned and has been around forever! My husband said he went awhile ago and forgot it was cash only. I had a very old (over 100 years old) Russian clock that was my grandmother's. It had not worked in nearly 50 years but I kept it for sentimental reasons. Decided to bring it in to see if they could fix it. The gentleman who helped me acted like it was no big deal which made me feel great! I picked it up a week later and it was working perfectly. They removed the rusted old mechanism and replaced it with modern mechanism. It still looks the way it did but now it works perfectly! I'll be bringing all my watches and clocks here from now on.
