Well when we all got in and got the last two packs, 10 minutes later driving by the cutter came back. And in the video you see him opening TWO packs that store saved for him. We were the last two people to get our packs , but when we counted how many people were in line there was enough for two more packs. Lo and behold the manager and worker kept it for this cutter to come back once everyone leaves. HOW SHAMEFUL, especially when it would have gone to kids!!!! I decided to open a pack and give some to the kids because what disgusting behavior is this!!! There were over 4-5 people complaining to the manager and door person yet they kept saying he has been here, when he was not ! He even told someone that he isn't in line and slowly he migrated his way into the line. There were people who said he does this all the time each time and the store just allows it. It's smack dab in the middle of a busy street but there's usually parking available along side streets - if you're driving. Check out their merch section, as I've found some super awesome clothes and collectibles on my way in to do what every grown man does - buy Pokémon and Zelda games every time they're available. My son likes this store, and I am providing him with the transportation and the necessary funds, so he can get his used PS2 or PSP games here. I prefer the used games, if you don't like'em or they don't work accordingly you can return it within 7 days. Game stores are a special type of store with a special breed of workers. I realized they are different, like they live in 2 worlds. The video game world where you can be who-ever you like to be; a rock-star, hit-man, superhero, pilot, Tiger Woods, NFL or NBA player and what not. Or the real world where you are just a weird goofy kid, that works in a game store. That's why probably the service is not identical as in other stores, and knowing that I adapt to it. How do you, as a company, find it right to sell someone's layaway product on them? I went in to your store today to pay off my layaway product. At no point when entering into this agreement, was I told that if you needed my product that day, you were going to sell it. But thats exactly what you did. So when I go to pay off a product i was told was being held for me, I am shot down by you telling me that someone else's money was more important than mine. That you sold a product that I had placed on layaway. This, all this comes after a multitude of other occurrences which I purchased games pre-order and never receiving them. But this is my final straw. How can I put trust in a company that focuses more on money than the satisfaction of its customers. I am extremely DISAPPOINTED with GameStop!!! I ordered two games from them on December 1st, and I was supposed to receive it by December 7th. It said it was out for delivery on 5th, and I never received it. Then, I tried calling GameStop to rectify the situation, but their phone tree is set up to be as customer unfriendly as possible. After the the fifth call, I finally got though, and they said they would reship my order. When I received my order on Monday, December 21st (3 weeks after originally placing my order), only one of the two games was there. By this time I was pretty furious, so I called last night (December 22nd), again fighting with the phone tree which hung up on me repeatedly, causing me to call back multiple times to actually talk to someone about it. When I finally was able to talk to a live person, I explained my situation to them and told them that I was very upset with their horrible (lack of) customer service, and they said they would ship the last part of my order, though I had to push to get them to upgrade my order to expedited shipping. Today (December 23rd) I just got a email from GameStop saying my package is estimated to arrive December 30th; almost a month after I originally ordered it, clearly NOT expedited shipping, and not in time for Christmas. I love gaming, but because of this experience I will not be shopping with GameStop EVER AGAIN!!!! I would also warn anyone reading this to beware of GameStop's terrible customer service, and advise them to choose one of the other video game sellers to purchase games from. I received an email cancelling the order. I have been trying to call since. Portion of the payment was with gift card and how am I to get my $ back? I ordered a TV that was supposed to come with a gift card. The TV arrived broken and the gift card was on backorder... How does a gift card remain on backorder is a good question but that is not the biggest issue. I called the representative and was told to send the TV back with the provided FedEx return shipping label and as soon as the TV is scanned another will be shipped to me the next day. The Gamestop rep messed up the pickup address twice which in turn forced me to drive an hour to return the TV. I called to inform them of the expectation of another TV being sent out that day but was informed that they have to receive the TV first, this is NOT what I was told TWICE! I asked to speak to a manager and was told that one will call me back within the hour. 4 hours later I called again and was told again that one would call me back. 24 hours later I had to call and finally spoke with a supervisor. He was polite but failed to honor what his representatives informed me. I will wait for my TV to arrive along with my back-ordered gift card but I will NEVER shop with Gamestop again! For a company that is failing in so many ways to get customers in their stores I can now see why this is an issue, you all fail at customer service and providing quality products to your customers. I would have rather driven an hour to a local Best Buy, picked out a TV with the satisfaction of knowing that it is not broken, or dealt with the hassle of returns and the long wait periods. Lost a Customer for life. Here is an excerpt from my email response after a package was stolen and Gamestop rejected my claim. The overall experience was a giant waste of time that I will never get back. "Unfortunately, I have heard nothing from Gamestop about the refund for my order that was stolen. I am very annoyed to hear that after 2 1/2 months you rejected my claim for the stolen controllers. I spent quite a few hours following up on this claim for the first month and a half after they were stolen (after I was told it would take only 15 business days). In total, I spent probably 5-6 hours on the phone before I ended up ordering new controllers to replace these (which were supposed to be Christmas gifts for my family). Then the new controllers that I ordered ended up being refurbished controllers due a mistake on Gamestop's part, and I had to wait a week for a return shipping label before returning them to a physical store so that I could pick up actual new controllers. Another 2-3 hours of being on the phone with people and working through this new fiasco plus the time it took to drive across town, wait in a store, and then explain the situation to the Gamestop employee. I am very disappointed that Gamestop has chosen to make even more work for me. by requiring that I work with my own credit card company. I thought that the CSRs who I talked to were friendly and helpful and I was appreciative of the $100 store credit I received, but if I had know that all of this runaround was going to take place, I would have happily traded that $100 credit for the controllers to not be stolen. This was a giant waste of my time and I am saddened that this overall experience will now be the reason that I avoid using Gamestop for future purchases. I hope that your company will reconsider. To have a company like OnTrac, who I have worked alongside, and has a notorious reputation for terrible service, deliver your packages is an abysmal choice. This package was left on the front door step in a highly visible location along a busy street during the holiday season when package theft is at its highest (on the eve of Thanksgiving by the way). There was zero effort to hide the package by the driver. I checked for the package within 60 minutes of it being delivered and it was already gone. I went to GameStop to purchase the Game of Thrones Monopoly version and was extremely disappointed. The box itself looked like it had been already used. The edges were torn and worn down. The person at the register mentioned that it had been on the shelf for quite some time so I assumed that's why it was in a horrible condition. I was in such a rush for the perfect Christmas Gift that I accepted the worn down outer box.
