Definitely NOT A PLACE TO LET THEM HANDLE ANY CARDS FOR PSA. First off, this is Gamestop, they are not experts on cards and only PSA gets the final say what cards they grade or not. And will give back your cost refund if a card sent was not gradeable according to PSA spokesman AND from experience with other gamestop lications. This location Sunnyside branch wont take the time to take the photo process and will even criticise your cards. Gamestop is not the expert on cards, PSA are. If you plan to use gamestop to send your cards to psa, this location is not it. read more

First of all, it smells so bad in this store. It's smells like they were spraying drakkar noir to cover up the body oder in there. So, I was just in there to buy a game. I found it and stood behind the only other people in line at the time. The guy behind the counter at the time of opening on 4/12/25 finished the transaction of the people who were in front of me. At this time other people at lined up on the other side of the register. He looked at me and said to get in the line that had formed on the other side. For some reason he took one look at me and decided I couldn't get the same treatment as the people in front of me. So I quietly put the game down and walked out. Good news is Target is like a 100 yards away. Just turn right out the door and you'll get there in seconds. They sold the same game for the same great price, and it didn't smell bad in there. And the person helping me was kind and didn't judge me like I was judged in GameStop. I'm not shopping at a place that treats people like the GameStop guy did. No one should when you can get the same thing at the same price without being treated like trash. read more

This store is the size of a regular walk-in closet and it still takes them 5+ hours to see if they have a single game in stock for an online order so I don't have to make the drive across town just to be disappointed a second time. I've spent thousands of dollars with this location over the last few years and then recently went during the evening hours and was told I couldn't hold a box of $30 football cards to read them to decide if I wanted them or not because it was store policy that anything behind the counter, customers weren't allowed to touch or inspect. Needless to say, it's pretty insulting to be considered a thief when shopping in a store from the get go. I called the main manager Keegan to complain about the service I received and he actually said, "if an employee doesn't know you, they aren't going to trust you to see anything because that's basic loss prevention." He also said, "it's Corporate policy that customers can't inspect anything in the store over $50." This all seems made up and I've never seen this type of policy at any card shop or other retail store ever. I told him that his location will be losing a customer that's spent thousands of dollars with them over the last few years and he said, "oh well, someone will buy them." The employees are nice at the store however, the policy of changing to only one item per person is really lame. Unfortunately, the people that are there are the ones that are really committed to the Pokemon and they're the ones in the front of the lines in the middle of the lines, so people that come in the next morning at 10 AM and scream that they didn't get a Pokémon card for their son and you guys are catering to them instead of your Dedicated customers. read more

I wish I could give 0 start for this place, for Keegan, the manager specifically. This place absolutely needs to be shut down for blatant discrimination and racism. I am currently hiring a lawyer to take legal action. When I came to pick up my pre-ordered PS5 on November 7th, the manager immediately targeted me, accusing me of being a reseller and complaining about the 'hassle' of dealing with me. When I asked if I could pick up both consoles I pre-ordered--one for myself and one for my wife, with receipts in hand--he outright accused me of being a fraud. September, 23rd 2023 Horrible staff! My son bought a Pokemon plush sleeping buddy at Target. He wanted to check some Pokemon cards at Game Stop. So we walked in with the plush, one of the staff members saw us walking in with that plush. We walked around for a bit and couldn't find what my son wanted, so we walked out of the store. The same staff member chased us down, yelled at us in front of other people "did you just walk out with that plush?" I yelled back "you saw us walked in with that plush! And you don't even sell that in your store. You want to see the receipt from Target?", so we showed it to him and he just said "okay", not even a "sorry" "excuse me" or "thank you", no apologies at all! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Kegan or Kagan? Dude working right now, so hopefully this is time stamped. Couldn't see the name tag that clearly. When a 10 year old happily asks you a question about a price on something, & then asks a simple question on backwards compatibility on games for it, maybe don't say, "that sounds like a question for Google" & say it completely dismissively while not even looking at him. I was pretty mad at that moment & we left pretty quickly after that but when my wife said she thought it was a very rude snip to our child I knew I wasn't over reacting in how I felt. The store was empty & you werent working with anyone else. You're co-worker that said she typically works at the Washington County area was cool. Owners of this place, that's why this isn't a 1 star. I've had other positive interactions in the past here but screw this guy. Maybe Google how to be a better representative. The employees at this store are extremely sexist and rude. Every time I try to purchase something it's not in stock and they act like I'm crazy for even attempting to buy a physical copy of a game. It's nothing but excuses. Why even run a brick and mortar store? They also completely ignore me if I come in with my boyfriend. If he's with me, they speak only to him and won't even LOOK in my direction, even when I'm the one inquiring about the game. Both male and female employees do this. Does GameStop coach its staff to discriminate against women? We play games too, and most of us have more money than our deadbeat boyfriends/husbands. Weak sh-t! read more

This is a good GameStop to go to. The staff is generally friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable about upcoming games. They also made picking up the new animal crossing game a breeze, instead of making everyone wait around and get the game at the same time the were just handing them out to help keep a crowd from accumulating. This store is amazing, their employees are so chill and very helpful. Jesse the store manager always goes out of his way to help me out, I've never had a bad experience here. Even when pre orders are late due to the mailing system I always get an apology. I've seen some reviews state prices and such but that has nothing to do with this store that's all corporate. It always smells like sweaty boys in here. Not good sexy sweaty hot boys, but teenager sweaty boys with stinky feet. They usually have the games I'm looking for and had the replacement Wii wheel I needed when I gave mine away to a friend for his kids, after they got MarioKart. When I told the counter guy I needed to buy another because I gave mine away, he looked at me askance and said, "Why would you do something like that?" The guys working there are nice enough, but you can tell they are REALLY into video games. Decent selection of used games as well, reasonably priced, and so far everything has worked just fine. If you don't mind the smell, it's a fine place for your gaming needs. read more

I called in advance to be sure that I could get a htc vive with an extended warranty. I explained that I had over an hour drive to get there. When I show up they then said that I cannot get an extended warranty. That means 2.5 hours of driving there and back. EDIT: I couldn't stomach driving that far for nothing so I purchased the device and have contacted customer service to try and rectify the situation. If game stop honors what the told me on the phone and allows me to purchase the warranty I will update my review. read more

I love this store. Most of the employees are pretty educated on the games here and what's coming out and if it's a good fit for your particular style. I'm in here so much that I'm on a first name basis with them. Most of the employees are awesome, but I will say RJ is our favorite. So nice and well educated on all things games. Went here with my son on December 30, 2015 at 2pm. Stood in line for 15 minutes. Once we went up to the register to make a purchase the cashier told us the line was on the other side of the counter when we were clearly there before them. Not to mention she was rude. I took my boy and left. 1. They had 1 person 2. Cashier was rude 3. Worst customer service I have ever seen I will never spend a dime of my money at any GameStop and will always ensure to everyone I know how horrible my experience was with this company. I walked into the store like I would any other. Adorned in my overalls, man bun high and tight, mustache waxed, and nipples erect, I was ready to pick up the Nintendo 2DS I had called ahead to reserve. Approaching the counter, I tilted down my thick rimmed white glasses and gave a little wink to the young lady at the helm of the computer. "Evening ma'am, but might an epic gamer such as myself purchase a salmon colored 2DS and a copy of Fortnite for every console available?" My request was met with a cheery smile, and the proclamation "oh, I love Fortnite!" At first I thought I had heard wrong. Only an epic gamer would enjoy Fortnite, but the person standing in front of me appeared to be female. My first clue was the spherical protuberances jutting from their chest. I can only assume that under the layers of fabric were what some of my cohorts have referred to as "breasts." My desire for epic gaming was soon replaced with a rage almost as sour as the scent of my unwashed socks wafting between the slots of my fashionable man-sandals. Have us gamers not been through enough? The oppression of our kind is well documented and I felt the power of 1000 fedoras cursing through my fingerless gloves as my fist clenched involuntarily into a tight fist. My hand slammed down on the counter with enough force that the shockwave sent the female staggering backwards. My voice bellowed and rattled the windows as I spoke the words of my creed... "GIRL GAMERS? NOT AS I STILL BREATHE." She sensed my abilities were far greater than hers (as I am an epic gamer) and immediately picked up her phone to call the police. I wasn't worried, since when they arrived they would see that a woman was impersonating a gamer. I placed my 15 gift cards on the counter, each with 10 dollars on them, and proceeded to collect the merchandise I was owed. I decided not to wait for the police, I'm sure they can handle this criminal without my help. Overall Fortnite is pretty fun, and I did enjoy my role in the war against our oppressors. However... Giving one star because they didn't ask me if I wanted to pre-order Spyro and I really wanted to. read more

Had a good experience today going into game stop. My wife and I were helped by Cesar who was extremely knowledgeable about games were asking about. He also gave us the best deal he could on our trade in's. Definitely will go back to this location again. Great customer service with Cesar he should get a raise or promotion will definitely go back if he is working. read more

This place is the worst. All of the games are scratched to the point they won't work. They charge people a fee to unscratch the disks but GameStop pockets the money and does nothing. Go to the GameStop across the street to target much better at doing their jobs. read more

If you have older systems or aren't really up on things they kind of act like you are a loser. My son has a GameBoy Advance, and we asked if they had games for it. You'd have thought we were asking about an Atari from 1980! Even our Wii was pretty passe. I had also joined some club they have, but found out I was a basic member which does nothing for you. This place might be fine for the true gamer, but for families and casual game players they are a bit snotty. read more

I bought a PS 4 pro for 399.99 $ after 5 days of purchase I wanted to return it for the slim or a refund but the person working there was not very helpful, he was like I cant give you the money because the box is opened or he offered me 175 $. I asked him to call the store helpline number he hesitated to call and said that they will give me the same answer. but when I insisted, he called the helpline, but refused to give the helpline number to me, so I suspect whether it was really the helpline number or just some random person ? Terrible, got straight-up ripped off here. I went in to buy a used title. The clerk told me that the used games didn't come with the online pass, which was $10. A new copy was the same price as a used copy with an online pass, so I bought a new one. Turns out the game does not require an online pass, the clerk made it up. Never shop here. read more
