If you plan to use gamestop to send your cards to psa, this location is not it.

That's not "market pricing," that's blatant price gouging aimed at the people least likely to know better. Card shops are supposed to build community and help grow the hobby, especially for kids. Instead, this place feels more interested in squeezing every possible dollar out of excited young collectors and their parents. It's hard to call yourself a community shop when you're pricing families out of the hobby. If your business model depends on overcharging kids and parents who don't know better, that says everything people need to know. Even their video games are priced way more than even EBay prices.

Here's the catch, I called 5 mins before close and was 6 mins away. He generously said he would be hanging around the shop and it wouldn't be a bother for me to come in late. Pulled in, and he helped me get everything I needed. Not to mention the cost was incredible fair and well below the budget I had placed for myself. Outside of the amazing customer service, the store is incredibly organized, clean and bright. I'm excited to come back when they aren't closed and browse around.

Having visited every comic book store in Portland, I can honestly say no other place made me feel this welcomed or was as well-organized. Every time I come in, they have exactly what I'm looking for. And to put it in perspective, I live about 45 minutes outside of Portland, and it's always worth the drive. That's how special Comics Adventure is to me.
