Hi-ya! The location is next to a Starbucks--so best of both worlds! When we first entered the associate was very friendly and was helping a new player paint his models. We've never been to this location and were very impressed with the selection, presentation and cleanliness. The associate asked if we would like to take a photo with the prop space marine chain sword and fantasy war hammer--of course I did! So that was neat to see and hold a well made piece of art. It was a pretty awesome experience overall as the kids all got to paint a miniature with the associate's help. As such, they all came back super excited to want to paint more. I can only hope they really get into warhammer...I see this as an amazing hobby investment haha. Unfortunately, the new sisters of battle were sold out. Anyway great experience for everybody and excellent customer service.

I'm new to AoS, having purchased a box 'Thunder & Blood' last year and finally getting around to painting them somewhat. Is there a newbie night or something to help learn the game beside just reading the core rule book?

We were still outside when an awesome guy named Shad greeted us and was very accommodating to my son with special needs.

I've been in the morning as well as before closing. It's always busy. Guess it's a good thing on their part. Like mentioned, I don't recommend coming in for the last minute holiday decorations. You would think as it's early in December, they'll have some things left over. Well, majority of things are gone. Loads of the isles have been cleared already. I've even seen some employees taking down the fixtures already. It's good for them but if you're looking for the decoration, I do recommend coming early. Like a month or so. They have them out early and most are on sale. It's still half off for Christmas items. You'll still get things there as they have random stuffs. But majority of holiday items are gone. I don't know if they'll restock anything now but if you're not looking for something particular, I'm sure they'll have it. It's also a store that literally carries everything. It's basically a Joann's, Michael's and a Home Goods all under one roof. There's everything that you can want or need in a craft store of such. Also, why is it that all the store seems to be short with cashiers. There's always a massive line in the store and there's like 3, maybe 4 cashier. If you coming, just make sure not to be in a rush. But I'm sure you'll end up leaving with one thing or a cart of things. They alway do have amazing discounts.

I only had a…read moresmall problem with the employees/policy there, I was looking at the Evangelion Blokees the store had and was looking for Eva-01, when I asked the employees if they had any he told me that the ones on display are the only ones there. I asked the same about S.H.F Jujutsu Kaisen figures and they said the same. I bought something else and when I came back they had not only restocked the S.H.F figures in general, but also 3 new Eva-01 Blokees. They have a policy where you can't exchange or refund so I was stuck with the product I bought. I don't know if the employee was too lazy to check or they barely got a restock, but it did get on my nerves a bit that I couldn't return it or at the very least exchange it (it was the same price). It would be a 5 if next time they maybe change the policy or actually check the back. My friend had a similar experience where he asked if there was any Gear 5 Luffy Funko Pops, they told him they ran out of stock. The same time that I came back he bought the Eva-01 and while buying it, saw that they had around 2-3 Gear 5 Luffy Funko's behind the counter. Maybe it wasn't the employees and just that they had gotten a new delivery, and I don't know anything about jobs like that but shouldn't employees at least know about restocks? It was either that or the employees (who were still very nice) were just lazy to check. Either way it's a good shop but after that experience it's a 3.5 for me.

They do welcome people who walk in, however. They have a variety of selection, which I appreciate because now I have almost all of Megumi's Funkos. The employee's could be better, for the most part I have seen good attitudes towards the customer's from them, although I do not agree with the no exchange or refunds policy. From what I have observed: they sorta refuse to go check in the back for a certain character, for this example Eva-1, they said they simply didn't have her. I went back later in the day, likely 30 minutes to an hour later, they had 3 Eva-1's out in the front. One of my friends were unable to exchange due to the fact that they, 1: no exchange & refund policy. 2: they did not want to check the back until there was space in the front for display. Not to mention, they changed the price of Sanji S.H.Figuarts from $70 to $80 WHILE I was there, inflation huh? Anything to make a profit, I guess. They have small Pokémon plushies that are the same exact price as the FunkoPop's, which is wild considering which one is more valuable. Overall, they could do better on pricing, staff service, and maybe rethink the policies they have in place. I go here often with friends and I hope to see some sort of improvement in coming months.

I've been coming here ever since my dad and I started getting back into collecting Pokémon cards, and it has quickly become our go-to shop. The atmosphere here is always fantastic, but what really makes this place top-tier is the staff. A massive shoutout to Daniel, Marvin, and Luis! They are always incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and have been so genuinely helpful whenever we come in to handle sales or figure out trades. They always shoot straight and treat us fairly, which is something you really appreciate when navigating the hobby. Beyond just the great customer service, we've had some insane luck here. The absolute highlight was when my dad actually pulled a MEGA DREAM god pack from a purchase we made at this location! We were absolutely losing our minds. It's unforgettable memories like that which make collecting together so much fun, and I'm so glad it happened with product from our favorite local spot. Whether you're a seasoned collector looking to make some big trades or just getting back into it like my dad and I, I cannot recommend LA Sports Cards enough. Best shop in the area!

This one is on the second floor of a two-story commercial building. Not sure if there's parking in the back, so I just park out front off of Glenoaks. Stairs are on the side of the building. Inside is nice, tidy and neatly organized. Not too much singles for sale, especially for baseball, and most of it is Pokemon cards. But they have a nice selection of boxed sports cards for reasonable prices. Bought a 2023 Topps Baseball Chrome Logofractor box and pulled an absolute monster of a card (see pic). This spot was good luck for me! Thanks bros!

It will likely be your last, because they have a stellar selection of kids toys (many great for childhood development and fun) and the cutest kids clothes. You can save yourself hours at a mall or one of those nasty chains you probably don't want to go to. I recently went in there and came out with a several gifts, all in about 30 minutes. The customer service is top notch - they're friendly, know their products, and can give good advice on what to pick based on your needs, and the kids' ages/interests. For winter holidays, they have both Christmas and Hanukkah themed gifts (clothes, pajamas, knitwear). They carry Mini Rodini, one of my favorite kids brands. They get bonus points for being well staffed - having enough staff to give 1:1 help to customers even during the holiday rush. Great hours, they open early enough that you can grab a gift before brunch or whatever else you have going on for the day. These people are a godsend. I'm rating this best kids store in L.A.

I would also much rather support local shops than massive e-commerce companies. So, I'll be doing more gift shopping here in the future!
