Such a fun team build event with my co-workers on a Wednesday evening! I booked a space for 15+ players, but only 9 showed up. I brought in pizza and drinks for everyone to enjoy before we played. There are bathrooms nearby, and plenty of space to move around. For 1.5 hours, we played 3 different games. We all had a blast picking our own team names, creating fake names, and cheering each other on. Out host (RJ) communicated very well and helped make sure everyone is engaged. We event had a few family members join as the audience. There is plenty of parking around the shopping center! I'll definitely do this again with friends.

So much fun! Our dance team went as a group and had the best time. You play several rounds of games for about 2 hours. Our host RJ was amazing and the guy doing the sound effects nailed it every time. Just FYI it is BYOB, we didn't know so didn't have anything but it would have made it even better haha. You should definitely check it out!

This place is a fantastic spot for an adult birthday party. Imagine stepping onto a TV game show set--bright lights, buzzer sounds, and a high-energy host who keeps the crowd amped. The experience features three games: two mashups that feel like Jeopardy meets Wheel of Fortune meets The Price Is Right, and a third that's pure chance--think Plinko-style puck drops that bounce their way into slots worth anywhere from zero to five hundred points The icing on the cake, it's BYOB.

Run, do not walk yourself and a group to GameOn! ATX. Seriously, it will allow you to live out your gameshow fantasies in a fun and bonding for life kind of way. The staff themselves make the experience - totally in character and helping you let any sort of inhibitions go as you enter the GameOn! land. Your group will be split into two competing teams and you'll decide a team name as well as your player identity. You exit the green room into the game show arena where you play three games that enable a mix of both individual and team prowess to win. The show host was on her game and the production sound effects were spot on by the AV guy. It's BYOB (they don't allow red wine) and the time flies - we were crying laughing most of the time. What's even better is if you return and tell them you've been there before, you'll never have the same questions twice. It was a memorable sendoff for our colleague and I wouldn't hesitate to return!

Well thought out and had an overall good time!! Would definitely try to book again for my birthday!

Went to GameOn! ATX as I heard about it from a friend and wanted to do something fun and different for my girlfriend's birthday. When it came to setting up our reservation 2 weeks out there was little available except the big game room which was reserved for larger parties like work events and typically they don't do reservations far in advance for it. I spoke to Harrison Coleman on the phone and he was extremely helpful and kind. He allowed us to reserve the larger room for our group of 10 special occasion and answered all of my questions regarding what we could bring and how things would go. When it came to the actual place it is a little bland from the outside as it is a part of an outlet but inside very nice and themed well. It didn't take long for us to get in the room where we selected teams and began the games. First off, our host was extremely funny, energetic and kind which really does make the experience. Their is also a sound engineer who plays certain sound and light effects in correlation to what occurs which gives it that real game show feel and production. We started with a family feud style which was really fun and then moved into a wheel of fortune game and then a 1 on 1 lightning style wheel of fortune game. All of these games were great and the 1 on 1 game was really competitive and intense. The last game was plinko and when I come back I would likely sub this game out for more time on the others as it is mostly luck based. In regard to subject matter, I submitted the topic and interests we all shared so the curators could create content around what our specific group knew and enjoyed which was a great touch. Overall despite my team losing, everyone had an amazing time and I heard many compliments from other people after mentioning how unique and cool the experience was. The staff was amazing and for the money totally worth it as it is priced very reasonably for how much personalization you receive. Also the place is BYOB which is a great feature. I will definitely be going back in the future and recommending this spot for people who want to have a fun group get together and fulfill their gameshow dreams.

BEST CONCEPT EVERRRRRRRRRR! Amazing team bonding experience, so much better than an escape room (and I'm an escape room junkie). I had just met my new team and we went to this experience. We split into two teams and had so much fun coming up with a team name and fake names for ourselves. The staff is absolutely incredible and hysterical. This is the most fun. I've had in a really long time and not just because my team won but because it was everything I could've ever imagined, and hoped for to feel like I was actually on a game show. Of course, due to copyright concerns, they have other names, but the games you play are essentially family feud, wheel of fortune, and Plinko which are played. Decor is awesome and so much fun with plenty of photo ops. I hope they franchise out and open additional locations as I would literally come again and again with friends just for a good time. I cannot recommend this place enough. You won't regret coming here!

Sunday marked a great one year with my current girlfriend and someone who means a lot to me. We had…read moreall these ideas on how to celebrate and spend time together, but the weather in the forecast really killed any ability to plan an outside adventure. Luckily, I had an ace up my sleeve and called an audible by suggesting the new Stranger Things: Catalyst experience at Sandbox VR. My girlfriend is a huge Stranger Things fan. It's one of the first shows she was following from the first season until the finale that she got to be a part of the zeitgeist with. The moment I suggested this, any other plan went out the window because to her, this was a must. This was not my first experience with a VR attraction. I got to try The Void when it was still in business at Disney Springs doing a Star Wars experience, and I remember having such a blast with it. This was my girlfriend's first time in a virtual reality space like this. Sandbox VR is the modern, surviving version of this doing a similar concept of suiting you up in a crazy VR suit with a headset, headphones, and a bunch of other bells and whistles before you enter a new world. The one thing that is different is that The Void had you walking through their space in their experience while here you're set in a box for the most part. Sandbox VR keeps you in one space for the entire duration and plays it out like a rail shooter arcade game. Different concepts, but both highly enjoyable. The staff were helpful in making sure we were all suited up and ready to go and we had our pictures taken right before they put us into the room. Once we had our headsets on, the experience started immediately. What's so fascinating about an experience like this is how immediate your brain just tells you that this is reality. You just believe what you're seeing is real. The avatar of my girlfriend is moving in real time, the catalyst is a tangible object I am holding. I am a Stranger Thing or whatever they call it. From the get-go, you are given a brief tutorial as a training and then suddenly the game goes from 0 to 100 and ramps up expeditiously. My girlfriend was hootin' and hollerin' the whole time as demogorgons (and democreatures as she calls them) were flying up on us and attacking us. You're genuinely in panic as these things get close to you. The anxiety feels real. The audio, the visuals, and everything in between just gets you immersed in it. The experience lasted about 30 minutes and by the end I was sweating profusely. I'm in pretty decent shape, but I was an absolute mess by the end. After all the equipment was taken off, we got sat next to a TV to show us our scores to see who leaves with bragging rights and is crowned the MVP (it was me by the way). On top of that, you are shown three videos of the VR experience that are recorded during your play. It scenes from the virtual world with a real camera that's pointed at you acting like a fool. Here, we got a dance scene from the end of the experience, a vertical video, and a horizontal trailer. Each were extremely humorous and given to us free of charge with our purchases. I know it works as free advertising for Sandbox VR to give you those videos to post online and all that jazz, but places like this still seem to charge for the memories. To get them included for free as a little keepsake is an incredible gesture and makes me want to try another experience. As for the videos themselves, they are still frying me, and I've watched them numerous times since the experience. If you are a Stranger Things fan, the Catalyst is a must-try. For someone who's only seen 3 episodes but has a good understanding of the show through osmosis from my girlfriend, I had a blast. Even if you're not a Stranger Things fan, there are 10 other experiences to try. The price with everything considered was pretty fair, and we truly had so much fun that I think it was worth it with what value we got out of it. The 20 second video we got of my girlfriend screaming the entire time might get played at our wedding one day. Who knows! RIYL: An experience out of this world

Punch Social Club is a whole vibe. The focal point of the building is a circular bar that looks like an upside-down punch bowl. The ceiling height makes the area look even larger. This mixed-use restaurant and bar space, located in the domain, combines gaming with a complete bar and dining options. You can purchase a cocktail or beer along with bar food. We played games for hours with the time flying by like a jet airplane. While the food and drinks were good, the real fun was the games. Our servers were great and attentive. The queso was good and reasonably priced. We had non-alcoholic beverages so we could focus on our games better. Please note happy hour begins at 3 pm during the week and games are 50% off...a great price!

We had gone there for the $20 unlimited play. There was no one at the front desk when we got there, so we just kind of walked around and eventually found our way to The little desk/cubby where the guy stamped your hand and where you can check out bowling shoes, and what not. Not gonna lie, either the staff is very lazee fair, a bit too relaxed - but ok whatever. We played bowling for about an hour, and then we go play some darts, and then we do some of the arcade games, and then we decide to do some of the floor games, and then to end off the night, we decided to do karaoke. You definitely get a lot out of your $20! We had a lot of fun. The karaoke room is private thank goodness. We probably spent about 3 to 4 hours here. Would definitely return for the games! At that price point, what's not to love. We didn't have any issues with bowling time management or getting the karaoke room or anything like that even though I do see a couple reviews where people might've had some issues. We did not eat here because we had eaten prior, we came here just for the games. So I can't really talk on how the food is or how the staff is. But yeah all in all, had a good time!
