Did a walk-in and able to pay and play immediately with no wait. The young woman we interacted with was very friendly and helpful! We played two VR games for a total of $152. Each game was :30 mins long. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be returning with our boys so they can experience it as well!

Had an absolute amazing time here! I was in Austin for a bachelor party and we all wanted to try this. We hung out for a bit before deciding to start playing VR. The owner greeted us when we walked in and explained how each of his games work. He was very knowledgable and nice, answering any questions we had. Our group of 8 played "Outbreak" and it was so much fun. I hadn't played much VR before so I was blown away with the clarity of goggles and overall emersion I experienced. I truly felt like I was "IN" a video game, we all even had headsets with microphones to communicate while running around. This will ruin all other VR games you have or will play, it's that good! I highly recommend giving it a try.

Zero Latency VR, the Austin location (also one in San Antonio) has only 5-star reviews for a reason- it's awesome!! Garrett, the owner, is a friendly guy who made sure we had everything we needed for a great time. We played Outbreak, as it is the most popular. Shooting zombies was a lot of fun. There are 6 games to choose between. I want to try them all! It's a big open VR room and everything is clean. Axe throwing in the same space. Thanks for a great time!!

We visited Prohibition ATX and loved our experience! Although it took us about 5 minutes to find…read morethe entrance, once we did, we were glad we made the effort. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy/fun. The bartenders were very helpful and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the old fashioned!

I am a sucker for a speakeasy when it is done right. I love the idea of being somewhere that not…read moreeveryone knows about. It feels like an IYKYK atmosphere. Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. If you saw viral videos of this, and thought, "Oh man that looks fun."…read more Bingo. But you don't know that half of it. We went when my nephew was in town for Spring Break. I've been DYING to go back ever sense. I don't think I can even explain to you how addictive and all consuming the joy of playing these games are. Bonus, it's for sure a work out. If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? Not at all, until you realize when you are so SHWEATY. It's like burst sprints mixed with body weights and maybe some yoga? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms! You can always go back for your favorites again later, and some of the ones that "looked" boring were actually the most fun for me. I was practically BEGGING them to give me a membership, but they don't do those... Yet? There was some discussion of some locations offering memberships as a trial run, and that it might become a thing nationwide. *fingers crossed* GO!

We be all up in Activate letting our inner kid out. It is a little pricey per person, but I'd say it's worth it. I would suggest booking online before going, but it's not a requirement, you may just have to wait a little if the time slots are unavailable.
