Late night game hunts always gets me somewhere interesting. This store is basically a shared store, with classic, retro and current games and collectibles in the front, and the party for vape entheusiasts in the back! Didn't get to find anything truly exciting, but I did find a rather uncommon release of Kemco RPG Selection for the Switch. I've recently moved to Brighton, CO from Greeley, and in my time in Colorado I've looked at various game stores that sell used and new games. I was happy to find this one near me, but my experience was overall... alright. The staff was nice enough, there was a good amount of variety with games spanning all kinds of systems, and the games I purchased worked fine, but the store felt unorganized and despite the variety, the actual stock felt underwhelming especially when compared to stores like Games Ahoy in Loveland. Also I saw them selling an Xbox Series X for $100 over the recommended retail price of $500. It's a decent enough place if you live in the Brighton area but if you can make the extra drive I would recommend something like Games Ahoy over this. read more

I've been buying vape stuff from them since I was 18. For over 7 years they have gotten the majority of my business for everything vape related. I've legitimately spent 1000s of dollars at this place. Yesterday my wife bought an Escobar for herself and I. She tried them in store, brought them home mine taste like nothing but cotton. I've been vaping Escobars for 2 years now. Every once and a while you get a burnt one, it happens. Today my wife went back to buy me a different one, different flavor, same deal taste like pure cotton. She told them, they refused to replace it. They have replaced them before when they tasted like cotton. I called on the phone and the owner, Nate, Hung up on me. Save your self some headache and go to elite vapes. Horrible horrible horrible. Prices are stupid high even for used games. Place smells like pot and the staff are so high they can barley function, and the ones that can function are extremely rude amd don't care if you buy anything. You'll have better luck going to Walmart anyways. Place needs to close down. Waste of time. read more

I've been coming to Game Trader for a few years. As far as used and new game prices it's very far and reasonable. But the selling your own product portion of the business seems very out of proportion. They gave me 22$ of either Cash or in store credit on a new game (it was 30$ something for a used) for Assassins Creed Syndicate, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, and Star wars Battlefront. All for the Xbox One. And I asked out of curiosity how much they would offer for my 1 TB Halo 5 Edition Xbox 1 and they offered me 115$ Cash or In Store. Retail is still 400$-500$. All in all a decent place to pick up games but not to sell your own. read more

They make even Gamestop look good. Extremely rude service if your not into Card based Games. I walked into their twice, seeing if maybe the first time was just a bad day for them. The first time I walk in was around 5pm and I just bough a PS4 from Walmart since they did not have one, but tried to support a local store, so went into Gametrader in Brighton next to the Boost Mobile and wow, disgusting, the store reeked of pot coming from the game table, the sat there at the counter for over 8 minutes, until some guy was like "I guess I better go help them" and seemed pissed he had to egt up from his "Magic" Card game, I asked about a few games and he knew NOTHING, I mean nothing on upcoming PS4 game dates, or anything, after a few minutes he RUDELY replies, well when you make a decisions let me know, then walked back to his card game !!! I took my 5 year old son and left in utter assessment. 3 days later I try one more time, I call and ask if they match Amazon and Walmart on game prices, they said yes , so once again excited to get a game I went down to get INJUSTICE, and once again reeked of pot in the store, and a guy kept smoking his e-cig style pipe the ENTIRE time with my 5 year old son there !!! He also bitched and complained at having to match the 40 price, he kept me there, calling Walmart for over 9 minutes cause he said the website had to be wrong !!! Then complained again about losing 3 bucks on the game !!! There pries are WAY overpriced, I would strongly suggest as much as I would hate to say it, to try Walmart or Target as both with immediately math Amazon or online pricing as long as you pull it up on your pone or at target they check it on their computers. Then bam, no hassle, no bitching. The store is only for "Magic" card players it seems, they will only talk you if you play card games !!! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS !!! read more

What a joke. Bought a wii from them 4 days ago and it already started acting slow and freezing up. So took it back in to them today and the store manager. Who Is also a joke. Started screaming at me and cussing at me telling me to get the f*ck out of his store. All because I told him I wanted my money back cause he sold me a piece of shit.. don't recommend this place at all. And I'm sure all my gamer friends will not be going there anymore. First off I walk in the door and the employee is blowing out a huge vape cloud i know they are a vape shop and all but seriously isn't there a no smoking in place of business rule, this place is doing bait and switch they have games marked at $9.99 and when I go to check out I noticed the employee has taken the games to the back room for "the owner" to price them out on ebay and when he comes back out he says" the games have old stickers on them and they are 14.99' this place is a disgrace to the gaming community. I am pretty sure the practice of price switching is illegal not to mention a great way to get poor reviews. read more
