We went here with a group of 10 for a company outing, and it was such a fun and interactive experience! It's about $40 per person for 90 minutes of gameplay, and the escape rooms were quite challenging, in the best way. Since the rooms are smaller, we split into two teams, which made it perfect for team-building, communication, and friendly competition. The place is clean and well-organized, with lockers, nice bathrooms, and two lounge areas where you can relax, eat, or hang out with your group before or after your game, and they can even be reserved for parties or private events. There's also a small parking lot out front, which is super convenient. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and overall this was a great outing that I'd definitely recommend!

Sorry, I can't remember anyone else's names. Puzzles are both clear and challenging at times, the narrative is very interesting and provokes discussion both during and after, and the prospect of decisions affecting later Chapters is very interesting. One of the most engaging and interesting Escape Rooms I've ever done. Although you might find cheaper Escape Rooms out there, Off the Couch Games offers a more unique experience that I think definitely gives you plenty of entertainment for your dollar. I eagerly await Chapters 4 and on. Only room for improvement I can really say is signage. If you miss the banner and front door on your way into the parking lot, you may get confused, especially at night.

The staff does a really good job introducing you to the game, providing context, and giving an overview of the rules. Additionally, they mentioned that we'd receive a discount off our total based on how quickly we finished, which was extra encouragement for us to get through the game. You immediately get immersed into the game before even walking into the actual room and once you're in Occam's Apartment, it feels even more real. The room itself is well decorated, with nice details scattered around the apartment. I loved every minute of the escape room experience and felt challenged throughout the time we were there. We did ask for hints throughout our time there and the answers were often given through directional questions. What I liked most about the Off the Couch set up is that the escape rooms are all a continuation of a storyline, so it makes you feel invested in the experience. I'm looking forward to the next escape room!

We came to the mall for dim sum on a Sunday and after adding our name to the waitlist, we walked around the mall to checkout some of the newer establishments. We knew Claw Crushers was coming in, but this is the first visit where they were open! You can determine how many coins/tokens you would like to purchase to play at the front desk. Because we were taking off for a meal, we decided to start with $5 aka 5 tokens. Well of course, that turned into $15 real quick :) There's enough claw machines to play from with a group, and our family giggled trying to win a prize for our kiddo. My mom and husband ended up both winning, and while we were there, it seemed like most guests were taking something home which was nice to see! These winning stuffies are now apart of our regular rotation, and we will definitely be back next time we're at the mall. Our kiddo may even be a little bit taller to reach the controller next time! A fun addition to Pacific East Mall, no doubt.

I get hesitant with claw machines but at $1 per token it didn't seem like too big of a risk (I hate losing money lol). I told myself I'd budget just $5, to give myself 5 chances! Each play is 1 token. There are deals to get extra tokens if you buy more tokens. I was set at winning a Pochacco plush and a Togepi also caught my eye! I was lucky enough to win both! With tokens to spare, I tried the smaller claw machines to win a Pochacco keychain - these claw machines were on the ground lol in the middle and I think harder - it seemed like I couldn't get the claw move to the right enough. In any case, it's much more fun to win plushies than buy them outright - thanks Claw Crushers for the plush variety and fun experience!
