It was fun! Took my daughter and her friends for a birthday experience. The person assisting us tolerated their insane yelling and screaming. They said it was really fun. There's an ice cream place next door if they work up a sweat killing zombies. Easy parking, nice facility. read more

What an awesome place and experience. We held our daughter's 12th birthday here, and everyone (including adults) had a blast. The young men and women who worked there were so kind and helpful. They kept checking in to make sure we were good throughout the party. They put the kids into groups, and each group rotated the 3 rooms. The virtual reality was so cool, definitely a great idea for tweens/teen birthdays. For 2 hours, we had the entire place to ourselves! This place just opened in December 2023. I'm pretty sure once word gets out about this place, it will be very busy! We're lucky we got in early. read more

We had a BLAST! You must go! It was all three of our first times (ages 14, 46, 54) with doing any virtual reality, so we did three games: First off we were in a virtual escape room in a haunted castle. Then we were fast food employees in charge of making burgers and serving ANGRY clients. (We were terrible and ended up covered in ketchup!) Then we were (of course) fighting Zombies! So dang FUN! And the price is way cheaper than any of the San Francisco VR sites. Go get 'em! read more

I cannot rave about this place enough. We hosted my 10-year-old's birthday party here. From the moment I found this place and met the owner, to the actual party, the team at Odyssey VR Lounge has been amazing. Vanessa assisted us with our party and she is a gem. I worked in events for almost two decades and know how difficult working events can be - especially with kids. She was kind, patient, and assisted me with every step of the party. She made hosting the party incredibly easy. I've never had someone from a venue help in setting up the decor, running the timeline, and providing the kind of detailed service she did. I was amazed. Vanessa is the kind of person everyone wishes they had at their company - they are very lucky to have her. The birthday package included VR playing time, pizza, and arcade games. I notice details since I worked events and the fact that this place is even thoughtful enough to include plates, utensils, cups, water, and even a party favor, is such a wonderful bonus. The place itself has a perfect flow in its rooms for a party as well. What a diamond in the rough for kids parties. I will be telling everyone I can about this place. It's clear that the owners of Odyssey VR Lounge have put their heart and soul into this place. That's incredibly rare to care so much about the customer. We absolutely love it here. Super fun for the whole family. The escape games are awesome and they are also building a physical escape room.

We had our 11 year old's birthday party here for him and 9 of his friends, and they had a blast! They have one large room for free play, another room with individual VR stations, as well as a couple rooms on the side, one of which has Nintendo switch set up, and the other looks like they have something country themed planned for the future. The kids loved the zombie game especially, and couldn't get enough of it. What's even better was how stress-free the experience was for us parents. All we had to do was show up with the cake and ice cream (though we actually could have ordered ice cream through the shop next door.) They include food (your choice of pizza or sandwiches), drinks, and serving ware as part of the party fee, and take charge of ushering the kids through party rooms. They even had some party favors for the kids, which I wasn't expecting. They are great communicators and very friendly and helpful. We (the adults) ended up playing Mario Kart 8 in a room on the side while the kids were at their games. That's how much they had it handled. Would definitely recommend! Oh, and it was very clean, and in a cute neighborhood with plenty of parking. read more

My 8 year old son and I had such a fun time with our very first VR experience here tonight! The attendant was very nice and helped us pick out some games to our liking. The place is very clean and it would make a fantastic birthday party venue. My son enjoyed it so much that he wanted to come back the next day. We hired the Odyssey team to host a VR tent at our company party. It was SO fun! The team brought everything and set it up themselves. They were very nice and explained everything. We played a few shooter games, but the fast-food challenge was the party favorite! Hilarious. I would 100% recommend hiring them for your next event, party, anything! My only regret is not booking them for longer! read more

I took two 7 years olds, a 10 year old, and myself for an hour of the free roam VR experience. We played 4 games in 1 hour and had a blast! The shop was well decorated, clean, and fun. Having no VR experience we didn't know what to expect. None of us got motion sickness, though I could see how someone could but none of our group complained about it. I can't really comment on the pricing (it does costa bit) since I haven't been around much, but the gear was clean (new) and the staff was very helpful. The owner and her staff definitely care about making the experience great. There were lockers for your stuff. We will definitely be going back and I think I would just do the free roam thing again. They have a room for Nintendo switch games and then another room with stationary VR games. Next door is a cool ice cream parlor so you could really make an afternoon of it. I think it's a great setup for birthday parties, and they mention you can bring your own food to a birthday party or they partner with skippolinis. I'd highly recommend! read more
