Get it Togo every time and have never been dissapointed. Even with exploring Sammie's and pasta. Just so good. Every time.

We go there almost weekly. Love the pizza! We have never had a bad pizza. Plenty of pepperoni and hamburger.

Delicious! We ordered two pizzas and a Caesar salad. The Carne pizza and the La Rughetta pizza (we…read moreadded balsamic glaze and goat cheese). Here's the run down, the crust was thin, but still had a soft chew, which was the perfect bite every time. The Carne pizza had plenty of meat with an excellent tomato sauce. This is a crowd pleasing pizza pie. I'm a sucker for prosciutto and goat cheese so when Hannah, our waitress, recommended adding the goat cheese and balsamic glaze to our pizza, I absolutely did. This was a smart move. The hubby and I opted to share the Caesar salad while we waited on the pizzas. The timing of the pizzas was perfect as we had just finished our salad. The staff was friendly and kept busy. Our drinks were refilled timely and they checked on us without being interruptive. Since yelp likes when we share tips, here's one, they have an awesome happy hour menu with great pricing. Super excited, we found our pizza spot!

My work colleagues and I got sat and were informed of a long wait as there was only one server - cool. No problem. It happens. We are sitting about 20 minutes when a table of 8 gets sat next to us. The cook immediately came from behind the counter to bring water for them. We were still sitting there with nothing. Our server came over - apologized and got our orders and brought out our drinks. Our salads came out and all was well. Then we waited and waited. We were informed that one of the potato pizzas we ordered couldn't be made because they were out of potatoes. No big deal. We changed the order. Then the group next us - who came in 20 minutes after us and ordered after us all got served their pizzas(including a few potato pizzas). While we waited and was not served. Finally realizing that our diverse group of 5 was being shafted for the very non-diverse group of 8 we asked for our pizzas to go and we left. So if the intention of Il Lazzarone was to make us feel sidelined and "othered" - congratulations. Job well done. Because we left there being reminded of just how how bigotry feels. The pizzas was still great in my hotel room. But you will never see a recommendation from me or dime of my money again.

While I do consider myself a part of that subset, I prefer pizzas that use 00 flour and have crispy, aerated crusts with good bubble formation that has a slight chew to it, similar to ones fired in true brick ovens or commercial pizza ovens. For that reason, Nicky's was just okay for the price that it was. I probably wouldn't order from Nicky's again because there are so many other places like Tascio's or Northeast.

It was nice to see quite a few folks dressed up for Halloween, but true to form, it's a bit dark like most bar and grills. Drinks were served up pretty quickly and we had some cheesy garlic bread (very good) to start with some of their (temp) warm marinara. The wife opted for the lasagna and noted that it was just okay. I opted for a 12" buffalo chicken pizza with some pepperoni. I chose well... it's one of the better pizzas I've ever had. Unfortunately the 12" was too much. Take heed: a 10" is probably enough for anybody, even if it's thin crust. Service was generally quick the entire time. If you're feeling pizza and are in the area, this is a very good choice. Just maybe stick to the pizza over the pasta?
