Chocolate Chip Cookie with Ice Cream
Kathy S.

Place is located within the hotel and you have to really look for it to find it if you aren't an actual hotel guest. Our server was Andy (studying to be a Nurse) and she was excellent! Andy was very friendly and attentive. A lot of TV's surrounding in all directions with different sports playing, which was nice. Some type of funky music playing overhead. We ordered a calzone and just split it as they are huge, so plenty for both of us. I just wish it would have been warmer. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were really good. Ice tea was brewed and very good. For desert we ordered the cookie with ice cream, which was fantastic! Disappointed in the bathroom! The handicapped stall was available, but the other one is out of order. The main reason for my disappointment in the bathroom is NO SOAP is available! Yes, they have GermX that barely squirts out, but that's NOT the same as soap. As a person who has 3 Science Degrees, I know hand soap is extremely important and necessary! I will spare you the biology and chemistry details! Please correct this problem.

There's a reason they call it 'happy hour' and Old Chicago definitely knows why. They've got the shareables and the drinks to make your after-work time well spent. This OC is connected to the Hilton Gardens Inn near the KC airport. The spacious dining area is completed by a U-shaped bar and the TV sightlines are outstanding anywhere inside. Have a seat at the bar, sample beer both local and well-known, and order from a strong menu. OC's pizza is really darn good, and I suggest the thin crust, which is not *too* thin and still holds all of its toppings. I'm an easy mark for the Pepperoni Rolls, a stellar appetizer that comes with marinara and is shareable but only if you like the person you're sharing with, otherwise, eat them all. This location is currently only open 3-10, but that's plenty of time to fill in a late lunch, a happy hour, or catch supper during a game. There is ample space, super friendly staff and quick service, and the food is worth the visit. They almost always have some sort of promo going, like a beer tour or whatever, so you'll have tons of options when stopping in.

Food was surprisingly decent for hotel food. The place was a decent sports bar with everything you'd expect. However - 10p closing is incredibly difficult. After a night out and not wanting to leave the hotel i would have paid good money for a beer after hours.

Pizza - individual thin crust

This was located close to the Hilton near the KC airport and i didn't want to venture out too far. I went early and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and did a good job. I ate what i could of the pizza - for individual size it was a lot of food so i took some to go. The pizza was good, beer was cold and place was clean. Will absolutely come back and try some other items on the menu the next time I'm in town.

This was conveniently located in the Hilton Garden at the airport in Kansas City. I eat gluten-free so I just had a gluten-free pizza with no crust. It turned out amazing! Plenty of topping and cheesy! The service was good. Friendly and prompt. There is no room service but t

Cheese bread (well, was suppose to be cheese bread but speckles of cheese-I would say more like expensive bread and butter)

Stopped here before heading to the hotel for dinner. Thought it sounded good and would be a nice dinner. The cheesy bread we ordered was not so cheesy, and the pizza tasted like a glorified Pizza Hut pizza. Prices were on the high side for what you get. Not somewhere I would come back to. The quality of the food was not there. Service was nice. Atmosphere was nice. Just the food was not so nice.

We always get the double deckeroni pizza. The hamburger rolls are so good. Tons of beer on tap if that's your thing.

Twin Peaks was really just a regular sports bar vibe more than anything else. Lots of TVs, loud…read moreenergy, and a little chaotic with sports everywhere. I got the cheeseburger and fries. We had the Triple Play with chips, queso, salsa, and the avocado mash, then ended with the Twin Peaks Sundae. I liked everything overall, but did have a complaint or two. The avocado mash was a bummer of a miss for me. I love avocado, especially on burgers, so I planned to add that to mine too. Unfortunately it had a lot more spice and some flavors I wasn't expecting, and I just didn't love it all together. I was hoping it would be my safe option on the Triple Play since queso and salsa can be a bit much for me. That one might be on me for not asking what was in it first. The burger though was actually really good. Juicy, simple bar food flavors and exactly what I wanted. The fries were crispy and fresh, and it's honestly pretty easy to mess up fries, but they didn't at all. The sundae was the best part for us. Super rich with that hot fudge Ghirardelli brownie and just really fun to dig into with those two big scoops on top. I did feel a little limited on what I could order because I can't handle much heat in my food. If you like spicier leaning bar food, you'll probably have way more options than I did. Service was really good. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and on top of things. The whole Twin Peaks staff vibe is part of the experience, but they were all still super nice and professional, which I appreciated. Overall it's a solid spot if you're in the mood for this kind of atmosphere. Just maybe check the menu ahead if you have any restrictions.
