We waited about 10-15 minutes before I finally had to go to the bar and ask if anyone was going to come see us. After we were seated, we waited another 10-15 minutes before a server came over. To make matters worse, our appetizer arrived before our drinks.
We ordered deep-fried pickles, but they were overdone, and the pickles themselves were so thin that it was practically all breading. My cauliflower-crust pizza was also a huge disappointment. The crust was so hard that I couldn't even eat the end pieces. When pizza is in the name of your restaurant, you'd expect the pizza to be one of the highlights! Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
The positives? The whiskey flight was good, although I thought it was overpriced. The vanilla Old Fashioned was my favorite drink of the night, and honestly, I probably should have just stuck with that!
Our waitress did apologize several times for the slow service, and when I told her about the pizza, she said she would let the kitchen know. I appreciated her acknowledging the issues, but there was no compensation or effort to make things right.
The final bill was around $150 for two people, and I left feeling like we didn't get our money's worth. Between the slow service, disappointing food, and overpriced drinks, the overall experience just wasn't worth it.
I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, I can't say I'd recommend it based on our experience. For $150, I expect better food, better service, and an overall experience that doesn't leave me wondering why we spent that much in the first place.
