An enjoyable customizable fast casual pizza chain where you can top your pie with a wide array of ingredients. I would definitely revisit MOD pizza time and time again because every time could be a different experience. They also have salads which you can create yourself or pick from pre-made combos on the menu. I love the addition of finishing drizzles that you can add to your pies and the fact that no matter how many toppings you choose the price doesn't go up. The options really are endless! The quick pace the employees work and the high heat of the pizza oven makes sure you get your lunch or dinner in top speed. Even with a line we were able to grab our completely customized lunch in less than 10 minutes. They also offer gluten free crust and the original crust itself is very thin (so pretty low carb) but, if you're looking for cauliflower crust MOD has that too. My thin original crust personal pizza was layers full of flavor from the artichoke hearts, the roasted red peppers, the spicy chicken sausage, the thinly shaved red onion and the full garlic cloves (which I especially loved). The sauce base I went with this time around was a classic red sauce but, spiced up a bit because, MOD offers a spicy red sauce option as a base. And with a hot honey drizzle and topped with red pepper flake this pizza packed a punch, in a good way. I loved being able to load on the veggies as well as pick a few meats- chicken sausage and crispy bacon crumbles to form a well rounded pie. Quick place for lunch. I would advise making your own small pizza. I went vegetarian and used the garlic glaze, 'chokes, peppers, olives, a bit of manchego and a bit of moz. Really good combo! The drink station is delicious with lots of variety. They make their own craft lemonades and teas. We are on a low carb diet so we checked the menu online and saw that they have a gluten free and a cauliflower crust option for an extra $2. Normally I love mod. In person great service, never been disappointed with my food. Since going on lockdown due to Covid-19 we were able to still order for pickup and still got great food. However it would appear that one order for whatever reason has soured our experience. Last night we ordered as usual for pickup. Four pizzas with notes for extras or individual preferences. It even had the requests written on the paper inside the box. But none of the pizzas had the requested items. I'm kind of a purist with my pizza--lots of cheese, sausage and lite sauce. There was barely any cheese on my pizza--asa matter of fact huge portions had no cheese at all. The other pizzas were much the same--requests for extra veggies, special sauces, none of it was as ordered. We all were really upset and annoyed. Will this keep me from ordering from mod again? No. I like everything about their food and I will continue to patronize them. But had this happened to a first time customer they would have definitely lost potential future business. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence and our local store will see this and take steps to ensure their quality control is in place so that they don't risk losing business going forward.
