Hello, This was a response from the last time I had a bad experience with Marco's. I decided to go ahead and give it another try because if I could manage to get the pizza I got the first few times it's literally craveable. It sounded good tonight so I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza Melt pizza. Marco's bills this as extra cheese and the first few times I got it there really was a lot of cheese and it was delicious. Then there was last time and now tonight. There was very little cheese and what was there was overcooked so you could even really taste it. It just tasted like an overcooked, skimpy cheese cheap pizza. This thing is supposedly billed as Deluxe too. Definitely not. I would love to have the pizza I got the first few times and would choose it over other places. No not. I'd rather order from somewhere I know what I'm going to get. Very inconsistent and a waste of money. I won't even warm up t b e rest of the mess. read more

All I can say is YUMMY! The staff were friendly and efficient. I had the Deluxe bowl and the cinnamon squares comes with icing but it wasn't needed. . Healthy portions and it hit the pizza craving spot. read more

Does anyone know what is going on with Marco's Pizza on 72nd St? We order from them at least 3 times a month and always considered it the best pizza around. We ordered one tonight and it was soggy as can be. We called them about it and was told it may have been ordered wrong. Who would want a pizza extra soggy??? I've seen some comments from a year and over a year ago. Marcos has different management now and they do their best to make the customers happy!! The food is great, and we scale out the ingredients so customers aren't shorted. You can get more coupons online than in the store. There is a Marco's pizza fairly close to our house and Gladstone that we have bought from several times over the years but the last time we were there six weeks ago we paid by credit card on the phone what to get our pizza and by the time we got home somebody from the pizza place had used our card and bought them selves a couple of Christmas presents. Marco management said that they could not help us that it couldn't of happened at their store. That was the only time we had use that card in over two months. Then we discovered Simple Simons pizza on Antioch and it is probably the best pizza I have ever put in my mouth. We try to get one at least every three weeks. This was my first time eating Marco's pizza. I ordered their 2 medium 1 topping thick pizzas for $6.99ea online. The online order system is simple. You can customize each half pizza with what you like. In my case, I was able to try 4 different ingredients, Italian sausage, meatball, mushroom and pepperoni on my first order! The pizza was ready about 20 minutes after ordering, right on time as scheduled online. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. The restaurant looked clean and you can see the pizzas getting prepared in front of you. We were hungry so the pic was taken afterward, at a point that we could breath! My God, this is FANTASTIC pizza! We kept looking for something we didn't like, but couldn't find it. That's why I'm here! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PIZZA!!! Most pizza these days come from frozen ingredients, but what stood out is the freshness of - everything! The meatball slices tasted like I was biting into the best meatball sub I've had. That's because their dough is made on-sight. This is by far the best dough and pizza in Kansas City, IMHO! Comparing Marcos to other pizza places within it's own category which is big chains like Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Caesars etc... it's not even a contest. They blow them away when it comes to flavor and, often times because of all the deals they have on their app, price too. The cheese is of a much better quality than you would get from similarly priced pizzas but what really sets them apart is that "old world" pepperoni that curls and gets crisp on the edges. That's something that every good pizza should have in my opinion. . They'll be my "go to" every time if I want a good pizza for a budget price. read more

Marco's has an excellent selection of toppings and offers both thick and thin crust with dipping sauces for those that like that type of thing. We typically order the Meat Supremo with a thin crust. This za has pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham and bacon. Highly recommend. Also, we will get the White Cheesy, again with thin crust which has Feta, bacon, onion and tomato. They will also deliver a movie from Family Video - just order them at the same time and the pizza delivery person brings both! This is just a store front so the best things are pick up, but they have super fast delivery, have online ordering and they always make it right! read more

I don't know if they have changed management because I use to love their pizza and service. The last couple of times I ordered the pizza was not as good as it used to be and it took over an hour and a half to deliver when they told me in 30 to 40 minutes and when the pizza arrived both times it wasn't even warm. Pretty good pizza. Reminds me of how Dominos was 25-30 years ago. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni extra large pizza. Great price! I was disappointed that they don't really have an eat in area. They have four bar stools and a counter that you can eat at but it seems to be made more for waiting when you pick up the pizza. They did not have any diet soda.
