Dinner for two pepperoni and meatball
David P.

I eat here with my girlfriend this evening. It was actually really good. But that shouldn't be a surprise as the reviews have been pretty positive. It is a small place only about a half dozen tables. But there was a lot of traffic coming in for carry out orders. There's several different options, meat lovers, and veggie lovers. It looks like the crust is only one kind, which is thin so if you're not into thin crust, this might not be the place for you. The seasoning, the cheese a lot of it is made in house. And a medium pizza with two toppings and two large sodas or run you about $30. If you're wanting to try a new pizza place which might become your favorite. Don't miss out on Leo's pizza in Gladstone, Missouri..

Medium pizza - Hamburger with provel cheese

Leo's Pizza is unique and some may even say an acquired taste. With its thin, cracker crust and the provel (yes, we like provel ) option you get a custom pizza like no other in KC. Leo's is a good change of pace as we usually stick to a Sicilian style. Leo's is more cheese heavy over a lighter sauce. Hamburger is the way to go because if you can't make a hamburger pizza taste good then what's the point? But I'm not hating on those that like a heavily topped pie. It's worth a try and we will continue to keep it in our rotation. For those wanting to dine inside, it's a smaller place so if you have a big group you may consider doing carry out. Also, there is a 4% fee when you use credit/debit. Enjoy!

It's so nice to have a restaurant that delivers an amazing consistent pizza, year after year! I have been coming here for as long as I can remember and the pizza is always amazing! Thank you Leo's for always bringing me back to my teenage years!

Best pizza in the northland! Make sure you order when you are not in a hurry. It takes about 40 minutes but is definitely worth the wait!

Best pizza in the northland! Allow about 40 minutes for it to be made. Worth the wait!

I hate party cut pizza and wish I had known that before they cut it. They didn't say anything about that. Not everyone likes party cut.

Great pizza and salad! Love their cheese, unlike any other pizza in KC and it's a locally owned business which is a plus.

Pls send cutlery with Door Dash for the motel dwellers. Excellent salads, even when eating them by hand.

I ordered a cider and they brought me out 1/2 a glass. The keg was empty and he figured I could at least try it. It was good, so I appreciate what I got. We got some appetizers. The Cesar salad was fresh and crisp. La Capra E Il Maiale was awesome! It was baked goat cheese and pepperoni with flatbread. Absolute flavor explosion! The pizzas... so great! We got a hot honey pepperoni and a Mortaza. Both were baked beautifully, the cheese blends were spectacular, and the toppings were ultra fresh. I left happy and full! Great service, great food!

It's pretty lively--which is to say that it's not a quiet, romantic sort of setting, so don't expect to have a sweet heart-to-heart convo over your pie. (Can this be the same place other reviewers are calling "upscale"? The menu is laminated, the chairs are industrial metal, and the floor is concrete. The server's wearing a hoodie.) The table next to us included two kiddos who played with electronic devices with the volume on, and staff made no move to stop them. We were seated at a table near the front door and didn't see the bar area until after we finished dinner; it's likely more intimate. The beer list is pretty short--the usual big names and a smattering of local craft brews. There are several spritzes and a few house cocktails on the menu, as well as a decent wine selection. We had craft beers and they were served good and cold. The menu also includes cane sugar sodas and Pepsi produts. Like most pizza places lately, there's no option for a small hot meal, especially if you want protein included--just a whole pizza (of which I'd eat less than half) or a salad. So I had a half salad, my mate had a pizza, and I had a slice of that as well. The crust is excellent; sauce and toppings are tasty as well. Il Lazzarone looks like a good place to share pizzas if you're with folks who can agree on toppings! It's a stable, reliable place to pop into if you're in the area.
