We love coming up to Holt for a cute rocks and records store next door and usually will stop in here for a nice lunch before heading back home. Each time we stop in, I feel like it gets better. I'll admit that the few times before, I wasn't super impressed with the wine, but this time...YES! So much improvement! I had a flight of the drier options and liked every one! We got several pizzas for all of us and they each were delicious. The hot honey one especially. Speaking of hot honey, I stock up on the Angle Acres Habanero Honey because it puts every other hot honey that I've ever tried to shame. SO good. This it wasn't what I was expecting, it has more of a country small town vibe but I loved it!! I was expecting a vineyard to be honest, when I think about winery/vineyard I expect one haha. The space was cute for a small town winery though! It had local artist paintings up for sale on the walls which is very unique and personal! They also have a wall of wine bottles which was really pretty. They had one big building that was more formal and then two other outside type buildings that would be nice during summer/fall nights! The restrooms I do have to say were super clean and nice as well which I also look for especially when visiting a winery, you know how alcohol can go straight through you! Lol. There was a ton of seating available so I'm sure they get pretty busy!! Staff overall were super respectful, helpful and nice! Our waiter recommended the cheesecake for desert, and helped with wine selection for others that came with my party. Unfortunately I didn't get to try any wine because I'm currently pregnant, but my mother said it was all very tasty and the flight of wine was the perfect sample (came with 4, 2 oz. Pours of her choice from various selections). Food was very limited, all they had at the moment( I think because they had a food truck down at Italian fest) was pizza, cheesy bread, salads, soups, and cheese boards! Which is all we got! Our table got a variety of stuff and just shared amongst each other. They even offered a gluten free version of the honey hot pizza which was delicious. Not too spicy and just the right taste! We also ordered the lunchable charcuterie board and it came in a cute little box with a selection made for 2 people! Food is always exceptional. I adore the fried chicken from the food truck. Best I've had in years. That said, can be a bit confusing how to do your order between in restaurant or at the truck- so be sure to ask for assist. They give it kindly. Service can be spotty. There are two excellent servers, both very young males but don't let age fool ya. I hope you get them. Reservations at 6:00 and I'm still sitting here 45 minutes late waiting for someone to take my order. Several tables that after us have had their orders. Owner talked with us and comped our pizza (sweet Hawaiian) which was rather good actually. A little pricey, but good. I suppose with limited options in a small town this restaurant is a good option. read more

I order a charcuterie cup and my wife order a salad before we ordered our pizza. The waiter took our drink order and came back and asked if we were ready to order. He said it would take a 20-30 minutes for the pizza. We order the supreme pizza, but asked if we could substitute beef and pepperoni for Italian sausage and bacon, and it took about 15 minutes to received a pizza and still no cup or salad, it was great pizza, but it had no meat on it at all, just veggies. I can't blame the waiter, the ticket he gave me had everything correct. Atmosphere was great, live music was great. The pizza tasted great. Just a few hiccups with our order. I will be giving it another shot. From the recent reviews I had read, the liquor counter and kitchen seem to be the issues. read more

Who knew this little winery was nestled in a tiny little town called Holt, MO. Just goes to show you cannot sleep on these little small towns in America. We held our May book club meeting here. Ordered the lunchbox, a mini charcuterie and a few pizzas to share, some salads, cheesecakes and wine tasting (selection of 4) typically they have food trucks on site for additional food options, but the day we were there, we were limited to pizza and charcuterie options. Tons of indoor/outdoor seating. Huge pizza oven and the wines were decent. I will say the prices were the biggest shocker. The Ambiance was nice in the restaurant area. They had another area with a roof and screened in to listen to the band. Plus outside with tables. There Pizza was DeLiCous ! We had an amazing experience at Walnut Creek wineries tonight. We are staying there with Harvest Hosts and walked in as they were closing. Joseph said he would take care of us and that he did! We had a great time with great food and he was very attentive to what we liked. We would definitely stay here again and come into the Winery looking for Joseph and his boss lady. Lol read more

Great place to grab a bite to eat and try their wines or have a beer! We cane for a painting class and got to try their Wine Flight (select four wines from a list of reds, whites, and fruit wines). Their veggie thin crust pizza was delicious! The servers were great, it's easy to open a tab and pay on their little handheld mobile credit card thingy madjingies. The place has a modern feel but not fancy so you can feel welcomed and fitting in if you come in shorts and wearing flip flops or if you come dressed with your business casual attire. Seems the Sunday Brunch ends whenever they decide and not at 2:00 pm like the menu says. The wine you order is served in a small shot glass style beaker, I had to remind my waiter that I have been drinking wine since before he was born and it's always served i. A "wine glass"? To top it off, before we could order I was required to supply a credit card to "run a tab"? Then when I was ready to leave he asked if I wanted him to "read me my check list"! WOW! All I can say is wow. Customer service is superb and it's a family friendly environment. What more can you ask for? The wine is delicious; I definitely recommend beginning with the tasting flight so that you can find which is the one for you. We ordered the Kicking Honey pizza and charcuterie which contained 3 meats and 3 cheeses, with fruit and nuts - and we WILL be taking home plenty of left overs. The wine tastings are completed at the bar, but they accommodated us since we had our 8 month old joining us. That's the small town hospitality showing - which is so hard to find nowadays. We ended the evening with the wine slushies - and for $6, you get 12oz of yum. I have found my new go-to winery of choice. read more

The food was so yummy! We had the pizza and it was phenomenal! I will say it wasn't a great atmosphere for families- it was very loud and there was a lot of drinking- which is exactly what you should expect in a winery haha. So it's great for a girls night or a party night! Not too wild but it was hard to keep our kids calm in the noise. We'll still order to go though because I dream about that pizza. read more
