I wish I had better things to say about this place as I've used them religiously as my tire servicer for years as I have very low profile wheels that are difficult for other shops to work on. However, over the past couple of years it just felt like the quality has gone down. A few years back, I got in an accident that left one of the rims cracked, and they were able to fix it without incident. Fast forward a few years, and the crack reopened. I wasn't aware that the crack had reopened, so I took it to them to inspect the entire wheel and they said there was no issue or leak. So I put it back on, and a week later, it goes down again. I take it back to have it checked and asked to inspect again, and maybe check for a crack as I couldn't remember if this was the wheel that was cracked originally. Sure enough, they found the crack had reopened and resealed it. So I go back for the 3rd time and they go to put the rim back on my car, and one of the mechanics attempts to put the lug nuts back on with the pneumatic impact, and strips out one of my wheel lug holes. Robert comes over to fix it by manually inserting the lugnut and torquing it down with the torque wrench. He tells me that next time I come, he owes me a wheel lug insert. Luckily I haven't had to take this tire off yet. Now as of recent, I had a tire that unfortunately got a pretty bad hole from a giant nail. I tried my best to plug it to no avail. So I go back against my better judgment from the past couple experiences, and ask Robert to put a new tire on it. He tells me that he can patch it no problem, but I can order a new tire if I want. I said well if you think you can, then go ahead with the patch. I wait the 30 minutes for the patch, and head on my way with no stripped wheel lug hole this time thankfully. The patch ends up not holding, so I call back the NEXT business day, and ask for them to just order the new tire. They said they could have it there by 11 am, and I get there at 12:30 with no tire there yet. I ask them to just put my spare on and I can come back later. Luckily, I called 30 minutes before getting there to confirm if the wheel was ready at 5 pm at this point, and they said yes it's ready, just give them a few minutes. (Insinuating they hadn't done it yet) I get there and they put wheel with the new tire back on. I ask Robert if he can give me a credit for the $80 DOLLARS I spent on a patch that didn't work, since they were already charging me $530 for the 1 tire that granted, does cost $450. He said, "No, because we already did all the work." Even though he said that the patch would work fine, and it cost me another two 30 minute trips to his shop. Overall, just disappointed in the drop of quality these guys put out and the seeming price gouging that they've had over the years especially with someone who's used them for so long. read more

Had 2 tires with blown sidewalls brought in. not only did they order new tires for me, they help me narrow down a couple of brands that make exceptional tires for lowered cars (low profile tires with thicker sidewalls to allow for impact absorption). I recently had an oil leak, so I tried Galvan and was happy with the experience. I waited 20 minutes, and they had the car on the lift. The mechanic showed me the spot where it was leaking and fixed it. There has been no issue so far. The pricing was fair. I will use them again. read more

These guys were amazing! I was headed back home to Tennessee on Tuesday and hit a curb in the pouring rain Sunday night. Bent two wheels beyond repair and couldn't find anywhere to get new ones until I called Galvan. Robert Galvan is a liar; and his shop is expensive and does crappy work. Don't waste your time or money with him and his shop! A mechanic we use recommended this shop to patch a tiny nail hole in pretty much new trailer tire. My mechanic said they charge $20 for a patch, and he doesn't recommend plugs because they damage the tire and the tire was basically new (had maybe 300 miles on it). When I brought the tire to Robert (the owner) I mentioned my mechanic's (name) had sent me to him and asked for a patch and they said it would be 30 minutes. I came back after 45 minutes, and they hadn't started the job. So, they started it right then. To speed things up, I went to pay for the work and that is when they told me it would be $50 for the patch! I was shocked but paid them the $50 because they had already now started the work and they made it clear it was my fault for not confirming the price beforehand and to tell my mechanic he was wrong about the cost. I waited for a bit longer, but they were having trouble getting the leak to stop so I left and came back in another 30 minutes. When I got back, they gave me the tire and since I was in a hurry to get my wife to the airport, I put it in the back of my truck and left since it appeared to be holding air. When I went to put it on the trailer later that day, I noticed they had wound up putting a plug in it to get the leak to stop. When I called Robert and asked what had happened, he insisted they used a patch and that the plug must have been originally there. I asked them to replace the tire since they now had ruined it by putting a plug in it and he 100% refused to replace the tire or take responsibility for plug. He said he put 2 patches on it and there must have been another leak or previous plug in the tire I didn't tell them about. Note in the attached photo, the mysterious plug is at the exact same location of where my mechanic had marked the nail hole in red paint. I know it is hard to find good folks to do work on our vehicles, but these guys couldn't even correctly patch a tire then lied about the work they did. Stay clear of this shop. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would. Hands-down, one of the most unprofessional worse shops I've ever gone to in my whole life!!!! They did not show me any type of invoice at any moment I didn't know type of actual paperwork. I went in for tires just to swap them out. I paid 140 for the tires then they had me hold the tires in my back trunk because they didn't want to do the job that same day so they had me come back the next day and drop off my car and all they did was swap out the tires and they started claiming that they ordered pieces and swapped out different Parts in my car that I did not ask for and I did NOT agree to!!!! And they forced me to pay an additional $370 when I came back to pick up my car For nothing because I took my car to another shop and asked them what was changed out and they said absolutely nothing was!!!! And this was the same shop that I had went to before going to Galvin's so they had already looked at my car and the parts that they claim they swapped out in the tires were not even touched. They are thieves and they will CON you!!! Excellent shop. I just picked up a screw in one of my brand new $600 Michelin pilot super sports. Two other local shops would not patch it but Galvan would. A bunch of hard-working guys who treat people very fairly and don't try to take advantage of them. An A+ shop with A+ people. I stopped in to have 2 trailer tires that I bought mounted on my own rims. They were not on the trailer; I brought them in the back of my SUV. Long story short, they saw my PA tag and charged me double. $84 was charged to me. I complained and was told by the manager that it is because I was in Naples. Another employee gave me the owner's phone number. I called him and asked him first how much to mount the tires and he replied $20 per tire. I then told him I was charged double. He tried walking back on the $20 quote and ultimately met me back after the service was complete and gave me $20 cash back. So it was still $20 more than it should have been. I should have known they were gouging people when I heard them tell an older gentleman it would be $40 to plug his tire. Don't go here unless you are prepared to get ripped off. It is a shame for them because I have many vehicles down here and they lost a repeat customer. read more

I had very excellent service with Galvan tires, I went in there for a bearing assembly job on a 20 year old car and it turned out to be a little bigger than anticipated. Very disappointed with service. Arrived to get an issue resolved with 22 inch rims they seemed knowledgeable in cars. However, the helpers who put the rims back together broke some of the pieces and they did not want to take responsibility. The principal is if you break you fix. It's understandable that mistakes happen but when there isn't any ownership it's an insult to one's intelligence! I'm a second year law student and it's important to take pictures of your car prior to having work done when dealing with small time shops such as this one. read more
