I recently had an oil leak, so I tried Galvan and was happy with the experience. I waited 20 minutes, and they had the car on the lift. The mechanic showed me the spot where it was leaking and fixed it. There has been no issue so far. The pricing was fair. I will use them again.

Robert Galvan is a liar; and his shop is expensive and does crappy work. Don't waste your time or money with him and his shop! A mechanic we use recommended this shop to patch a tiny nail hole in pretty much new trailer tire. My mechanic said they charge $20 for a patch, and he doesn't recommend plugs because they damage the tire and the tire was basically new (had maybe 300 miles on it). When I brought the tire to Robert (the owner) I mentioned my mechanic's (name) had sent me to him and asked for a patch and they said it would be 30 minutes. I came back after 45 minutes, and they hadn't started the job. So, they started it right then. To speed things up, I went to pay for the work and that is when they told me it would be $50 for the patch! I was shocked but paid them the $50 because they had already now started the work and they made it clear it was my fault for not confirming the price beforehand and to tell my mechanic he was wrong about the cost. I waited for a bit longer, but they were having trouble getting the leak to stop so I left and came back in another 30 minutes. When I got back, they gave me the tire and since I was in a hurry to get my wife to the airport, I put it in the back of my truck and left since it appeared to be holding air. When I went to put it on the trailer later that day, I noticed they had wound up putting a plug in it to get the leak to stop. When I called Robert and asked what had happened, he insisted they used a patch and that the plug must have been originally there. I asked them to replace the tire since they now had ruined it by putting a plug in it and he 100% refused to replace the tire or take responsibility for plug. He said he put 2 patches on it and there must have been another leak or previous plug in the tire I didn't tell them about. Note in the attached photo, the mysterious plug is at the exact same location of where my mechanic had marked the nail hole in red paint. I know it is hard to find good folks to do work on our vehicles, but these guys couldn't even correctly patch a tire then lied about the work they did. Stay clear of this shop.

I had very excellent service with Galvan tires, I went in there for a bearing assembly job on a 20 year old car and it turned out to be a little bigger than anticipated. The owner was there and explained every move to me and why it took a little longer. Basically the bolts were frozen on but they had the knowledge and tools to get the job done. With no extra cost to me

Great place and service. I brought my car in and they changed my tire in 15 minutes. I liked dealing with the owner Tony. Really great guy.

Great guys, took care of us and went the extra mile. They custom ordered tires in for me and beat everyone's price around town.

For a first time customer, you need to know to park your vehicle by the entrance to the office. They appear to service the fleets for a number of businesses, so the parking area around the garage is most always full. Don't park in front of the entrance to the work bays. They don't schedule appointments. I show up at 7 am, when they open, and over a five year period they have always completed my service by close of business that day. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule, but that has been my experience. When parts are needed, they often arrive in the afternoon. They will call you when the vehicle is ready for pick up. To me their pricing is fair and honest. I want quality work and I'm willing to pay for it. A friend of mine suspected her dealership was overcharging her and asked if I knew of a good mechanic. I took her to Voigt's and they were able to perform the work for much less. They are a good place to go, if you want a second opinion. Voigt's pointed out to me that my truck has a broken bolt on my exhaust, so there is an exhaust leak until things warm up. They said it really didn't hurt anything, so it's a repair that I am choosing to put off. As to my reviews always being positive. For a number of years I benefited from the reviews of others and found places I would have never know existed otherwise. Then I decided to submit reviews. I use Yelp to find good places to try. I figure that's what you are looking for too. You're not looking for a bad experience, but we all experience bad ones from time to time. It could be my bad day and not theirs. I just don't write a review when it happens. In my opinion Voigt's service is worthy of recognition

While he had my car, I asked if he could put in 2 headlight bulbs which I had purchased. When I picked up the car, I saw he charged me $109 to put in two bulbs! I was flabbergasted! I don't know how anyone can feel justified charging that much money to put into bulbs. And then saw I was charged over $35 for "shop supplies." Which I was told were for cleaning. Never again! Unless you have infinite $, find another mechanic.

I'm from out of state and my equipment was left behind so if I need someone else to do repairs that would be too cumbersome I want a place I could trust in the future. The alternator job was just a test, nothing wrong with my alternator. So you know the vehicle was not with me at that time. The first question I ask could they replace an alternator in my vehicle with the new one I purchased? his responded that Florida laws state that it is illegal for any service shop to perform repairs all items must be purchased exclusively by the shop and no work can be repaired with outside items. Not true, First lie. Check the status if you don't believe me. A shop can turn down work but it's not illegal. Second question, if the item was purchased through them how long would it take to install? His response is 4.5 hrs. So you know, to facilitate access to the alternator there is a face plate that must be removed. I told him I removed the face plate, which took all of 7 min. The actual job of replacing an alternator on a Boxster is easier than changing spark plugs. It is one of the simplest repairs to perform. It takes no more than 35 minutes to remove, It is only held in place by two bolts and 2 wires in the back. If one of the bolts is stuck it requires several light blows with a hammer to loosen which would add 5 minutes. Reinstall, and repeat the process in reverse. If this job was undertaken by the slowest mechanic in all of Naples with no Porsche knowledge they could do it in 2 hr and that is being extremely generous with the time allotment. So if you choose to use this repair shop you have been duly warned. Such a shame, I truly wanted to say good things and use the shop for the future, especially after reading other reviews. I don't know, maybe they do good work but you are paying an exorbitant amount. The search continues. Now to check with other shops hoping to have better luck. labor cost should not exceed 2 hrs not 4.5 hrs. This is a simple job. price for labor should be 220 to 250 ,no more.
