I went to galls Riverside for a protective vest for my job. They laughed at me. Refused to help me and told me I needed a permit to purchase it. Their vests are expensive, wait time excessive and they were rude. You want vests order from Safe Life Defense in Las Vegas. They sent me one in 3 days. You want uniforms go to Tact Squad in Corona. Galls think they are all that and customer service is horrible. I get sick to my stomach whenever I hear or see their name. Boycott galls. They don't deserve your business. read more

Where to begin on galls. Well they had three people helping customers and apparently 3 customers was to much to handle so after almost 40 minutes of waiting, I finally got help and they were out of the sizes needed. All in all, they can't multitask, and terrible service. If you need uniforms worth the time just got to prestine uniforms in Rancho Cucamonga. read more

Worst customer service ever last time I will ever walk into this business... managers need to train employees on how to greet people, ask if they need help, and be informed on simple questions and not start getting annoyed with paying customers because they are frustrated and don't know the answer. Out of The 3 ladies working yesterday not 1 asked if we needed help or said hello then the girl on register was annoyed with our questions about some pants then there was a guy walking around and didn't even acknowledge us... come on where is MANAGEMENT??? Now I know why there is only 2 stars at this location read more

Have been using this company for MANY years. Today we came in to get patches sewn on a few shirts. They are wash and wear shirts and were just laundered and hung to dry. The wrinkles from tucking the shirt in do not come out when laundered. The employee who helped us said they would not work on unlaundered shirts. We explained that they had in fact just been laundered and he still refused. Is this under new management? Service was slow, employees were not friendly. Will not be returning, ever. read more

My kids have a Jujitsu tournament Saturday morning, Friday at 4:20pm I called in to see if I could have some patches sowed onto their gi last minute and not only did the new manager oblige but he was courtesy, helpful, and even shared a few stores about his experience in judo and as a actor while the patches were sowed on during our wait which was no more than 15 minutes. Thank you for making mine and my children's day! read more

I've been to other Galls before and knew what to expect when I walked in the door... I was very pleasantly surprised this time. I was helped by three different people while I was there and all three were very courteous and went above and beyond to help me. I left with everything I needed either in my hands or on order. Other Galls should take notes from this location. read more

I don't always have the greatest experiences with Galls, which is why for this review I'm only giving three stars to the business as a whole. However, today 09/10/2918 I called to check on the status of my order. Molly answered the phone and checked the computer which stated that my order was on back order. Luckily Molly when above and beyond and found that my entire was actually done. When I got to the store to pick up she gave me my uniform with a friendly smile. Thank you Molly for being such a big help. Five stars just for you! read more

My first time visiting and was pleasant. Picked up a few items that John and Rodney recommended. Both associates were great to work with despite John not happy about his milkshake (inside joke). read more

I have been coming to galls off and on for many years and recently after purchasing two full uniforms I'll have to say, I won't come back. After spending approximately $300 on two uniforms and needing further alterations later on due to their mess up or shoddy job I needed my alterations done and they were going to take about 10 extra minutes but all I heard was a lady talking about wanting to go on her break and one more younger blonde lady behind the counter at Alterations copping an attitude saying "what's he trying to get for free?" I remained professional but nearly lost it on her -sooo rude. Gsauce wow lady. I used yes ma'am no ma'am all the good courtesy you would expect from our type but this one left a bad taste good luck galls read more

Been to this location multiple times and all of the employees are great except the African american man that works the register. Every single time he is working when we go in he is in such a bad mood. He hardly looks up from the computer when you ask him questions and when he does he has such an attitude. If you have to ask him to do anything it seems like such a chore. It's not just us, he treats everybody in the store that way. If somebody asks where something is he just looks at the computer and will point in the direction of where that item is where other employees will walk to to the item or politely ask you to wait if they're busy then help you out. We recently went in to get a name plate and the name was spelled wrong on the computer so we asked him to change it and he said "I have to start all over again" then didn't even look at us or say anything then handed the receipt and continued to look at the computer. I wanted to say something to somebody but he went to the back area and was talking and laughing to the girls at those computers so I knew nothing would come of it. Will not be returning to this location. read more

Worst uniform store ever. Not only do they never have any uniforms on stock. But they can never get the orders right. The customer service is very poor. The females will give you attitude about everything. If you need anything go to P&P. P&P has great service and they definitely take care of you. ON TIME! read more

I've gone to this place once ago about a month and half ago honestly worst experience with rude employees to where I walked out. I didn't want to go again but had to and let me tell you way better experience with the new management. Randel was a good help thank you. read more

absolutely horrible customer service, don't expect them to offer any help or kinda greetings. The females are even worse when it comes to stepping up to help the customers. Don't expect quick service either. Maybe if they didn't have kids working there they would have some respect for their clients. read more

Horrible, just Horrible. Still waiting on my pants and shirts. 2 shirts in stock and those weren't even in my size, needed 5, 1 pair of slacks, needed 5. Tailoring is basic 101 in Jr. High, I could of done that type of work on my Singer at home if I knew they weren't professionals. They know they're fitting a woman and a woman has curves, they just tailor like your a man. One good thing about America, we can voice our options and we can shop elsewhere that wants your business and are true business professionals. read more

I have used this store several times. After reading the stupid comments from others recently, it's apparent that these people don't shop there. All the staff bends over backwards to be helpful. I will continue supporting this store. Thanks for everything Galls Riverside. read more

This was my first time coming in here. I was impressed by the selection they had. I had to wait a few minutes before I got help but they only had two workers in the uniform area. When I got the help, they were very friendly and showed me exactly what I needed. They have correctional uniforms in stock. Prices are not discounted but are great quality. Make sure to buy your uniforms early if you need any patches sewn on. Takes a few days. Will be back for future purchases. Thanks Galls staff. read more

I completely forgot what the employees name was (Holly or Molly), and that's just my poor short term memory. I came down to return some items I'd purchased online. This employee was efficient, polite, patient and everything an employee should be when dealing with an knowledgeable customer (me). I found exactly what I needed, after I'd scoured different stores and the internet with no luck. The prices for what I bought were very reasonable (LawPro shirts) and she helped every step of the way. Thank you, (H)(M)olly read more

I visited this store to purchase some boots from here. I was assisted by Andrew during my visit. Andrew made my experience very pleasant. He went out of the way to provide me with very personal service. I ended up purchasing a shirt as well. He then suggested some alteration that were spot on. He also explained the process and timelines for alterations to the teeth. I felt he was very genuine with his service. He really cares about taking care of his customers. In my opinion, he went above and beyond to provide me with the highest level of service. He represented the company in an exemplary manner. I would definitely go back to this store. I recommend you ask for him for excellent service!!!!!!!! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Head over to the Orange County location on Katella. Corporate needs to know how bad this location is and how unprofessional the manager, (Russel or a name with an R) is. We walked in never being there confused and I had to ask someone for help which is fine but we looked confused as hell and the employee was staring at me instead of asking if I needed help. So he told me to sign in. After not being helped for 2 hours or even asking what we are here for/what company, we will be with you in X amount of time, etc we decided to leave due to work. We called the OC location asking if there are appointments, and he informed us "no it is first come first serve but Ill get you in and out of here in 15 mins usually" I told him really wow we just waited two hours at the Riverside location and he goes what no not even on a busy day is that ok. I decided to call the manager of the Riverside location to let him know what happened and hopefully there can be a better formed system of helping people, directing them, and greeting them with help. He decided to blame it on corporate for only giving him two employees to help size customers and I said I watched for two hours them waiting around doing nothing while two guys at a time tried on uniforms when they could be helping a third guy, considering there were 4 open dressing rooms. He replied to me saying "well maybe that could have worked but if thats all corporate will allow me to do then thats how it has to go..." I told him I am trying to inform you from what I saw and experienced in hope you can correct some of these issues that to me is an easy fix. Just having one of the girls come over and ask what uniform we needed or why we are here or how she can help while the other guys are trying on clothes in the dressing room would be better than just silence and standing around for two hours. The conversation ended with the manager then raising his voice and that is when I decided to hang up. I hope corporate can do something about this because this looks terrible for not only them but the companies that partner with them to direct their customers & employees to go there for needed uniforms and gear. All in all TERRIBLE experience at Riverside especially seeing how the Orange County location does things. In addition to common sense in helping customers and just being friendly and efficient. read more

The new location is much better. The store isn't as big, it seems more rectangle, but I think they got rid of all the grumpy old lady's when they moved! I didn't have a stellar time, as in they weren't approaching me for back massages, but it's a big business, you're just not going to get the mom & pop feel no matter what. The folks in here were helpful when I asked. One guy had some attitude about where the 5.11 jacket was located, but maybe he was having a bad day. Stock seems better, and you don't get stared down by ursula's cousin when you are looking around. read more

They have a lot of equipment and the prices seem competitive. The service is horrible. They only have two girls working in the uniforms. Had to wait 45 minutes just to get fitted for a plate carrier. They work slow and no one else in there asked if we needed help with anything else as I walked around the showroom. I only came here with my buddy since our department has a contract for the plate carriers. I definitely won't come here if I need uniforms. I don't have the time. We ended up walking out without even getting him fitted. read more

I drove in from OC for a pair of trousers! Rodney was super helpful over the phone and in store. Thanks!!

I have avoided coming to Galls in the past due to the lack of customer service. I needed uniforms and I was in a rush, so I decided to give the company another chance. I was greeted very nicely by a young lady named Bernadette. She was extremely helpful and helped me get everything that I needed. I watched her greet every customer that walked by. It has been along time since I have seen such exceptional customer service like that. Bernadette has changed my opinion about Galls and I will be coming back. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I thought with the move they would have gotten better. No I was wrong. I took one shirt in to have altered. Just the sleeves shortened. They said 1 week. Nope took 2. It was only one shirt. Plus it cost $12 just to get that done. Not to mention their customer service when you call to find out about your order is horrible. I just took two more shirts to p&p to have the same work done it cost me a total of $10 bucks and they will have them done Monday at the latest. Unfortunately i won't be using galls anymore. P&P will be the only place I go to now read more

Good luck getting customer service, and usually there's one register open with a line that takes forever. Shop elsewhere.

Poor customer service. Long turn around time. Low inventory and understaffed by employees who seem inconvenienced to help.

Unfortunately for Galls it's going to get a bad wrap ever since there old store off of Spruce. I personally think it got better with the move. I just bought my boots (Thorgood)sp?? From there. Customer service was pretty good when I went. Give this place another shot.... Oh!!!! Stop, please stop, trying to sell 5.11. There items are garbage! Boots especially. Go back to the old days when that company wasn't paying you extra to sell their crap. read more

Horrible online customer service . Ordered a hat and took almost 5 month with page saying 30 days. Seems they order from vendor and ship to you bug they forgot to order me one for 3 months. I called and they said sorry about that we will order today. I asked for refund of expedited shipping and was denied. I paid to have it rushed but they screw up and keep the money. I left a 1 star review at galls.com and the deleted it 30 minutes later. Companies that hide reviews are sketchy and if they hide that (along with forgetting for 3 months to order what you pay for) do you want to trust them with a credit card number? read more

Been to the store several times they never have enough people working. There is usually one person behind the register nobody on the floor takes you an hour and a half to get somebody to help you with anything. If you know what you want go online it's cheaper there anyway and for the amount of time that you wasted at Galls order it and get it the next day on Amazon don't waste half a day at this place trying to get a question about a product answered read more

This place is hands down the best uniform store in the ie and riverside county. I work for ie and my explorers needed shirts asap. I've been coming to this location for the past couple of months and I've been lucky enough to be helped by Leidys. She ALWAYS makes sure that I am taken care of and is very patient. Any questions I have she makes sure to find the answer and never makes me feel silly for asking. Shes not only helped me with fitting but has also made sure to greet me with a smile on days I go in for pickups. Yes, the wait time is long sometimes but only because these girls are doing their best to make sure we leave satisfied. Kudos to the girls in the fitting department for always being in the best mood regardless of how busy it is... And thank you Leidys for continuing to make my experience at galls 5 star. read more

Now I know why their name is Galls... How could anybody have the gall to charge someone such outrageous prices. They're 25 to 50% higher than you would pay at any other store. I would suggest purchasing your items online. There are other uniform shops in the area that do not charge as much as these people do. I've been in the profession for over 20 years and have never seen such atrocious pricing. They know that most customers here receive a yearly uniform allowance or get reimbursed for their uniforms. However for those of us who are volunteers, like myself, all of these purchases come directly out of our pocket. read more
