Provided payment (my own gold Amex), provided the billing address, provided the shipping address. Galls refused to honor my order because the shipping address is a "freight forwarder." Not only is it totally not Galls' business who receives the merchandise - why on earth should it matter if the credit card is legitimate?!? - but apparently the company routinely snoops around and investigates customers' residences. They did offer to ship to an international address, but at the cost of $55 (the whole order was $80!). They must think I fell off a turnip truck. Such price gouging is unconscionable and unethical. I hope they go the way of U.S. Cavalry, which used to be an awesome store until their customer service went down the can. P.S. Don't bother emailing them; their response to every message is "Call customer service." Why do they provide email contacts if they do not use it to solve even simple issues?!? read more

First time coming into Galls. I was just recently promoted and I needed uniforms ASAP. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a young lady (didn't catch her name) asking if I needed any help. I told her I needed to order uniforms and she directed me to the back and told me to let her know if I needed any more help with anything else just to ask her. I was helped with my uniforms by crystal. She quickly helped me with what I needed and was very friendly. Then I walked around the store to purchase boots and a young man named Andres stop to ask if I needed help and I told him no and he kindly recommended boots that I may like. Then the cashier Reyna was very kind, she apologized for wait, there was a long line. I truly don't understand why they have horrible reviews but my first time here was not bad. Exceptional Customer Service from three levels... the store manager, the floor lead, and the clerk at the customer service counter!!! I recently purchased work boots from Galls (Riverside). They were shipped to me in a timely manner. Unfortunately, after wearing the boots for a few hours, they simply did not work out. I had already discarded the box and my receipt. I called the store and spoke to the Store Manager. He was able to pull my transaction on the computer in no time! I explained the issue to him and with no hesitation, he said he would exchange them even if they were worn and without the box. I drove to the store and the young man at the counter and the floor lead were extremely helpful. They were aware of the situation and I was in and out with a new pair of boots in 10 minutes!! I needed uniforms, white tac squads shirts... came on yelp to read the reviews. First saw Galls reviews and they were horrible. Everyone said to go to P&P first before going there. and P&P reviews were great! I live in Riverside so I believed the reviews and went to P&P first. Was not greeted when I walked in, walked around completely confused. Couldn't find what I was looking for and not one person asked if I needed help. I left very disappointed, wasted my gas and time. Afterwards went to Galls, walked in and was greeted by Reina in the front she then she showed me the shirts I needed and I purchased 6 of them. I was even help by the blonde young lady, she was very nice and helpful with my questions about the alterations I needed done. So I will never be returning to P&P and will continue my business at Galls. read more

I was recently accepted to a law enforcement academy and needed to get a ton of gear and uniforms. As someone ignorant to that world, it was a bit daunting. I tried several uniform shops and was met with out of stocks and staff who didn't seem like they cared much about helping a customer spend money. Then I went to Galls. Britney and Maria were incredible. Not only did they have my uniforms fitted and ordered within 20 mins, they were able to get me every single piece of gear that I needed. One of the best parts is that knowing I was providing all of my own gear, and how expensive it was, they didn't try to sell me the highest ticket items. Highly recommend this place! read more

Galls recently acquired Keystone uniforms. I had been to Galls and had a horrible experience. Needless to say that is why I went to Keystone. I had ordered some items from Keystone and they never contacted me about them. When I called the phone number had been disconnected. I found out that Galls was handling the orders from them. I was worried because the last interaction I had with Galls was awful. Long story short, I went to Galls and had a totally different experience. I honestly don't think I've ever encountered a more ridiculous policy at a retail store. I came…read moreinto this boot store because I was actively looking to purchase a pair of boots that day. I wasn't just browsing, killing time, or asking an employee to bring out every boot in the store while I decided whether I was interested. I had a specific boot I wanted to try on because I was seriously considering buying it. The issue was that the boot was from a different brand, and I was told I would have to pay $50 just to try it on. I understand that stores have to protect their inventory and that employees' time has value. But charging a customer $50 simply to try on a boot is an incredibly poor customer experience. Especially when the customer is standing there ready to potentially spend money on the product. I wasn't wasting anyone's time I was there to buy something. The entire purpose of a boot store is presumably to allow customers to evaluate the fit and feel of footwear before purchasing it. What makes this even more frustrating is that I wasn't asking to take the boot home, wear it around town, or use the store as a free fitting service before purchasing somewhere else. I wanted to try the boot on n the store, with the intention of buying it that day if it fit and felt right. Charging $50 before I could even determine whether the boot fit was enough to make me walk out. There is a huge difference between having a reasonable policy to discourage people from repeatedly trying on products with no intention of purchasing and charging a legitimate customer $50 upfront just for the opportunity to try on a pair of boots. If your policy is designed to prevent people from wasting your employees' time, it seems completely backwards when it ends up driving away someone who was actually prepared to make a purchase. I left the store and will be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of places that understand that letting a customer try on a product is part of selling the product . $50 to try on a boot is not a reasonable customer experience. If that's the policy, that's certainly their choice, but customers also have a choice about where they spend their money. I won't be spending mine here.
