Was just there this past Sunday - took forever to get a glass of water, and never did get even one refill on my coffee. Gallery Grille is old school. It reminds me of room service offered at Embassy Suites decades ago. We brunched here. The menu is filled with omelets, breakfast carbs (French toast, pancakes, waffles and etc) and bennies. Lighter fares not offered. When ordering, I asked if they had avocado toast or any healthier options. She responded with a yes and started to describe the avo toast. It's served on WHITE BREAD. Gallery Grille got the memo but ignored the details. I had to go back and study the menu to see if they offered anything remotely appetizing. Since I couldn't get away from eggs, I settled. My omelette arrived. It was lifeless and the taste of tap water really came through in the grits. Who dines here anyways!?!?! read more

Hate to rain in the 4 star parade but our experience was poor. We sat outside and waited for long time for our order to be taken. There was only one other table occupied at the time. Food arrived after obviously sitting for a long period. This doesn't work well with eggs (Benedict). We had to request silverware after the food was delivered. Another wait. There was no ketchup for fries or syrup (for a waffle) delivered. Waitress did not return to see how everything was. She only came back to deliver the check. Everyone had left the table except one to pay the bill. I hope the service improves. read more

Though we have been here many times, it seems we just keep trying to give them another chance. They offer a wide variety of delicious food, but half the time it cold and you have to wait over half an hour to be served. That has been our experience more often than not. We even brought friends with us once bragging how good the food is and it all came out wrong, and ice cold! Very embarrassing. When brought to the servers attention she went to the owner and he did nothing. Not even an apology. I think this guy better get himself together and rectify these issues. The service is a 5 the food a 4. I have eaten here for years. The breakfast is great as is the lunch. The price has crept up a little so it is a little pricey in comparison to the competition. The place has a very faithful following, and most of the staff has been there a while Which means you can trust them to provide excellent service. The eggs Benedict, fish sandwich and burger are a few of my favorites. The waffle with fruit is always a good bet. They have a patio which makes a nice change of pace. Haven't had the food yet. I came in for take out. As I stood in front because the sign read wait to be seated, I looked around for some ones attention. 3 people at the bar serving one customer. I still standing... After a few minutes I realized I wasn't going to be served. I walked up to the bar still no one gave me attention until one lady locked eyes so she was obligated to ask if I need anything. I asked for take out and she kindly took my order. While I say for the 15 minutes waiting for my order at the bar.., no one asked me if I needed anything, or would like a water while I wait. I sat and observed that no one else realized my order had been taken so how they know I was served. I noticed people walking in were greeted and seated. As much as I hate to say it's because I came in workout close or the complexion of my skin is darker than everyone in here. But I walked in and out feeling that way. This is my 3rd similar incident being in requests area. Coming for a month due to MLB spring training I see why most of the families stay away from this area. We went back but fried potatoes we no were near as good. My take is that we were early customers for the day and the frier wasn't hot enough so very greasy! We came down here for a nice vacation, and wanted to go to our favorite breakfast place on our last day. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us, it had closed down the month prior. So, not apposed to trying new things, we decided upon Gallery Grille. As we approached the door, it was obvious this was a 'nicer' restaurant. We weren't dressed up, since we were going to the beach after, but I didn't think that would cause us to be treated with any less respect than any other guest. We waited for around 15 minutes before our server(Kelsey) came to our table to ask if anyone had gotten us drinks, even though it was quite obvious no one had. Upon returning with our drinks, we ordered. When we asked her a question, her face expressed clear annoyance and she answered quite snarkily. After taking our order, she disappeared, only to return an hour later after she noticed we still had no food. During the hour that we waited for our food, we watched as guests who came in after us received superb service and got their food and drinks rather quickly. We even watched our waitress converse with a table outside for 15 minutes, yet she only talked to us for a grand total of 5 minutes throughout our entire visit. When she approached us to tell us 'it was weird' that we didn't have our food, yet people who came in after us did, it became very clear to me that she genuinely could not care less about us or our experience. She claimed the kitchen 'lost' the ticket so they were finally making our food, and we told her she could just cancel it, but she refused and boxed it for us to take anyways. They took care of the bill for us, which I admit was the one, single thing that was done right. I've worked every position in the restaurant industry over the past 6 years, so I can easily say this is the worst run restaurant I have been to. Treating customers based on their looks is a terrible way to run a business. I am 100% positive that if I would've worn my fancy dress and expensive shoes and diamond earrings, I would've gotten the amazing service I saw everyone else get. Shame on the managers for training employees that way, and shame on the servers for not being the best you can towards your guests, who are quite literally paying your bills. You are there to ensure we have a wonderful meal, not make us feel as though we don't belong. As a long time waitress, I am telling you to do better, and treat every person with the same respect you'd show to your boss. read more

Best assortment of eggs benedict that I have ever seen. On the weekends, I highly recommend the Cajun eggs benedict with blackened shrimp & andouille sausage. Even the steps they take to make a perfect mimosa (OJ & champagne) are followed perfectly. Kitchen staff's expertise is evident when food is tasted.
