The service is amazing! The ambiance is simple but extremely clean with beautiful photographs of the city. "Excuse me, I just need to interrupt your dinner so we can squeeze in behind you so I can show him this picture." OK , I was obnoxious, but that is how excited I was to see all of the beautiful photos. The ONLY recommendation I would ever give is that they make lamhacun more often than just Sundays! I also had Alice's pudding which was like a cold soup with chocolate with coconut and walnuts. We were seated in the back of the dining area near the kitchen where there was an incessant beeping noise the ENTIRE time we ate which drove me crazy! Should I go back again, I would like to try Noah's pudding and the phyllo-wrapped yam with my meal as both of those looked good.

She was very personable and chatted with us for a bit before she moved on to get our server. The restaurant has a middle eastern feel but also a European feel and our server told us it was a Balkan restaurant. I loved the ambience - warm and inviting. There is a bar and a variety of seating - we were sat in a booth as there were 3 of us. The menu had a small variety of options. I liked this - made it easier to choose, although, almost everything sounded really good. I chose the Turkish Beef Ravioli and the Deviled Eggs. Hubby had the Beef Doner Sandwich. The food looked amazing upon arrival and tasted as much as well. The ravioli was placed inside a band of light yogurt and olive oil. It was excellent! I didn't mix it all together and ended up having some of the bread from my husband's sandwich to dip into the yogurt and olive oil. The bread on his sandwich was light and airy but had a sourdough taste to it. It was really good. The deviled eggs were very good as well - I was worried the salmon eggs might give it a fishy taste but I could not taste anything fishy. I'm so happy we opted for this place for dinner. I highly recommend if you are in the Corktown area and looking for a good place to eat.
