So I arrive the first thing I noticed was the smell. The smell of this place is not pleasant, AT ALL. I went a week ago and will not be back. The washer did not spin my clothes enough they were still wet after that washing cycle. NOT DAMP BUT WET and of course this is gonna cause you to spend more money drying them because who wants damp clothes? Almost NONE of the card readers worked for the washing machine. Dryers need to be fixed as well. I'm leaving this review so I know which laundromat to never use again!

We also received constant emails and texts about payments--even after we had already paid. Every time I asked about it, the owner blamed the computer system or her husband. I stopped going for a while, but tried again recently since it's close to home. Unfortunately, the confusion continued--they used credits from my account for my daughter's drop-offs without letting me know. I don't mind covering it, but I was often surprised to see charges even when I hadn't brought anything in. To make things worse, some of my new white clothes came back slightly yellowed, and a few of my linen pieces lost their brightness. Overall, not a pleasant experience, and I won't be returning.

Early on, I asked what those were because $7.35 a shirt is way past my comfort level. On my last visit I noticed that my receipt listed 3 shirts to get hand finishing. I asked which three and why. The clerk pulled out three shirts and said it was because they contained polyester. 1) Many of my shirts are cotton/poly blends and Acclaim had been laundering them for months. 2) Two of the three shirts the clerk said required the special handling were 100% cotton. Maybe the clerk was just having a bad day but I was left with the feeling she was making it up on the fly. Now looking for a new laundry.

We had several weeks' worth of laundry piled up, including tons of toddler clothes that I typically stay on top of daily. Jeff (the owner) called me within hours and took the time to walk me through everything. I had a lot of questions since this was our first time using a service like this, and he was incredibly patient and helpful. The next morning, my husband dropped off our giant load - 9 garbage bags totaling 214 lbs (!!). The staff was expecting him, helped unload everything, and had him in and out within minutes. About 24 hours later, everything was ready. It was all perfectly cleaned, neatly folded, and organized. Socks were paired, toddler clothes/pants/shirts were grouped and wrapped separately, and everything was sorted in a way that made putting it away so much easier. The staff even brought everything out and loaded it into the car. The whole process was so seamless and efficient it honestly felt super luxurious. What really stood out was how reasonable the pricing was given the amount of laundry and the level of service. We just found out our new washer and dryer delivery has been delayed again, and my first thought was to send another load to Swiftdrop. At this point, we've joked about sticking with Swiftdrop's wash-and-fold service instead of replacing our machines! In our experience, it's rare to find a business that is this responsive and easy to work with. I wanted to write a review on this particular Laundromat because IMHO, they were different. I've driven past this Laundromat a couple of times before deciding to go in. I went on a Monday night, thinking it wasn't going to be busy. Boy was I wrong, it was busy! One of the two coin changers was not working and had an out of order sign. Aside from the broken machine and a few lint balls on the floor - I was pretty impressed with this store. Overall it was pretty clean and bright compared to other Laundromats I've been to. The attendant greeted me when I came in and helped everyone w/ bringing in their laundry - I have never ever seen this at any of the other Laundromats I've been to. Maybe it's because I don't frequent them enough but I really like the way they run their business here. They even give away prizes every month which I thought was a nice gesture but not sure why a Laundromat would do that. I used their biggest machine - I believe the attendant told me it had a 75lb capacity? It was $8.00 for the hot wash and for one of the large dryers it was $0.25 for every 3 minutes. I washed 2 comforters, one king & one queen, and it took me only 35 minutes. When the wash was completed the comforters were only slightly damp which was strange since I know I saw water soaking them. I asked the attendant about it and I guess the washers spin so fast that it dispels most of the water - allowing for quicker drying, which is always a plus in my book. I had the comforters in the dryer for only 25 minutes and they were completely dry! I was in and out of there in just under an hour - AMAZING! I thought my experience was good and warranted a review so if you're in the Manassas area and need a Laundromat, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't come here - this is now my go to spot for comforters!

I ensured that they were able to clean them and get the smell out - he said of course. When I went to pick them up and got home, the odor was still as strong as when I dropped them off. I took them back the next day and a lady told me I'd have to PAY AGAIN to get them cleaned since I left the store. I had my receipt, clothes still wrapped, and on the hanger. I was upset, as I dropped $80 on clothes that still stunk and had cat hair on them. Walked out and never plan to return - bad customer service.
