The lady "Carla" is very lazy. My dryer was not drying properly, so I told her about the dryer. She pulled the lent tray out and the lent look like a rug, that how thick it was. She wanted to blame the person that worked last night. She never said she was sorry nor offered to add money because the needed the lent tray cleaned. She got an attitude. Sure, it's 108 degrees now, but in couple months you're gonna want the comforters, blankets and fleece throws. I came to Sue's to make sure mine are soft, fluffy and ready for winter! .As I stated , it's about 100-104 heat index here so think about that while in a laundromat. I'm not afraid of a little sweat and this whole process was a little over an hour anyway. In the long run, I know it's worth it. . I walked in feeling like I had a "My name is Jodie, I'm new", sign on my shirt. Seemed like I stuck out and everyone in there knew each other but that didn't stop people from being friendly. I read the instructions on the front load washer. Exchanged dollars for coins. Bought a box of detergent and sat back to scroll thru X. (That's right. In case you haven't heard. Twitter is now X.) As you know, scrolling thru X and other media's will have your hour feel like 5 min. My fabrics/throws were done. On to the dryer. $.25 will get you 5 min of dry time. I put in 4 quarters since my load seemed thick. 20 min drying time. (Back to X) I grab my things from the dryer, and everything was perfectly dry! Next time I might start at 10 min. .Sue's is bigger than I initially thought. There's a whole back end that dog legs off to the right. Lots of room. Also convenient, it's right behind Dunkin' on Broadview Ave. Sue's is self serve but also provides wash/dry/folding services for you upon request! The place is really clean and equipment is nice looking condition. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks, as well as game machines and bubble gum machines. The change machine can take a $10 and provide change in quarters. Also 5's and 1's. Grab a coffee at dunkin and let Sue's handle your big jobs. read more

my clothes were stolen right out the dryer while i stepped outside! i have emailed the owner to ask to rewind the cameras & have gotten no response! this place has poor management & a thief' that works there or frequents there to steal customers expensive clothes! (THE DATE THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED WAS MARCH 7th 2025 around roughly 7PM) Obviously must of watched me and took inventory of what size I was and she was to even think to steal clothes from a customer!! The laundromat is clean and tidy. The dryers are clean with no residue in the filter area.

I have never been to a laundromat before, but since my washer gave out a couple weeks ago, I have been to Sue's more often than I would like. But there's one lady there who is always there in the mornings who makes my times there so welcoming and she is always so helpful. I used to come here many years ago before the unit next door became a Greek restaurant and it was great, but now it's not so great. If you have bedding to wash I don't recommend this place, they don't have any folding tables, only a few (like maybe 5) small 2x3 style tables attached to the walls where you can fold. It's fine for folding just clothing I guess, but definitely not a lot of room in this place so don't bring too much at once. the lady working today 7/3/2024 was also rude when I asked why there wasn't any tables to fold bedding....she flipped her hand in the air while walking past me without even looking at me saying something along the lines of, "find what you can". I've never in my life been to a laundromat but I needed to get some things cleaned that I didn't trust my personal washing machine with. I called to ask questions because I had no idea how the process worked, how much money to take, and info about detergent supplies. The lady, the owner I believe was so so so helpful. second week in a row that I've came into the laundromat @6:50-7:00pm and the attendant came and ran me off. asking if I had a lot of laundry and if I did that I wouldn't have time to finish it... the wash cycle takes 25 minutes and the dry time is about 30-45 minutes. the sign clearly states that last wash is at 8pm. in the past the female attendant was very nice and kind, but this male attendant has ran me off for the last time. I'm sorry but I won't be using this laundromat any more and I'll gladly drive out of town to do business elsewhere. read more

Sue's Laundromat rocks. New owners, I think. They are open at hours needed by people who are likely to need them to be open. The place is clean, managed by friendly, respectful and knowledgable staff, and they accommodate many forms of payment -- not just sacks of quarters. Next time you find yourself unwilling (or unable) to cope with piles of towels, sheets, or other major loads of laundry, check out Sue's. Do it yourself with their help, or leave it to them (with your favorite soap and instructions if you like) and return reasonably soon after to collect your neatly folded stuff, clean as a whistle. ps: The cup is for coins, if you need 'em. read more

Great customer service! My dryer broke and used the wash and fold service for a few weeks. The service was fast, friendly and the clothes smelled amazing. $1.50 a pound - my family of five was about $50 a week less towels and sheets. Thankful my drier is fixed but its Hard to go back to doing my own laundry this weekend. I'll definitely be using them again when the holiday craziness starts up. read more

Parenting, schooling, and working is tough. Getting your laundry taken care of by Sue's is not! No one gets a medal for doing it all. Outsource your laundry to Sue's. I brought them a big basket of clothes for my household and they had it all washed, dryer, and folded in no time. They did a great neat job folding (better than me!). The clothes were very clean. The detergent they use is fragrance and dye free.The charge was very reasonable as they charge per pound for the wash, dry, and fold service. There is an extra charge for comforters, but we all know how long they take to wash and dry in your household washer/dryer. Also, how many times have you washed something only to have to wash it again because you forgot to put it in the dryer? Won't happen if you just bring it to Sue's! I'm a very happy mom! My dryer is going on the fritz and being a single working mom -I have no time to wait for a repair man! After letting the laundry pile up to the point ...well you can imagine! Lol. I have a large blanket that will not fit in my washer or dryer. I have taken this blanket to Sue's several times in the past and paid for them to wash & dry it in their large washer/dryer. They did a great job in the past. I dropped this same blanket off at Sue's before Christmas. Note there was no damage to this blanket before I dropped it off. I picked the blanket up two weeks after Christmas. I did not take the blanket out of the bag that it was packaged in by Sue's until two weeks ago which is a mistake on my part. When I took the blanket out of the bag there was a bunch of fuzz all over it. The fuzz was very thick, almost like stuffing from a pillow. The fuzz is so bad that is will only come off with a brush and is going to take hours. After looking closer at the blanket, I found that the binding around the edge of the blanket is torn in several places and that is where the fuzz came from. The fuzz is from the inside of the binding. It almost appears as if the blanket was put in a washer and dryer that were both too small for the blanket. Thus, causing damage to the blanket. I called the Manager, Lisa, and then took the blanket into the laundromat for her to see. Lisa was adamant that the damage to the blanket did not happen at Sue's Laundromat. I cannot say that I had a good experience with Lisa either. As a manager, she does not have good customer skills and was not willing to make it right or even try. read more

My dryer broke, so I took a load of clothes to Sue's laundromat to dry them . The hours claim that the place is open until 10 pm. I got in there at 9 and started drying my one load. The manager or employee who was there was very aggressive and rude about my being there at all because last wash is apparently 8 pm. I told her I was only drying, not washing, one load, and she said no one should come in after 8 pm. I think no one should go there at all, if that's how you are treated. So no wonder there were no customers there. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that wants customers. read more

Just moved and had multiple loads of laundry I wanted quickly done so I came here. The attendant working kept taking smoke breaks with the door open (back room or alley, I'm not sure), but the laundromat reeked of cigarette smoke. The last thing I want my clean laundry to smell like is smoke. I skipped folding my laundry but left smelling like smoke myself. This isn't a bar...it's a laundromat. Not only have I been a customer since I moved to this area 7 years ago but I also now work part time for Sue's. How many people can say they enjoy going to work? Our customers are amazing. Regulars everyday, it's the cleanest laundromat I've ever been in (and I've lived many places). The best part is there is always staff! It's difficult for me to want to load clothes into a washer (3x load) that has crud and yuck all around it's doors. There were 2 different employees during the time I was there and. The one when I first came in was pleasant and helpful. When she left, the employee who relieved her was not. Just annoyIng. If you don't like the job or people or both, than do something different. The timing was off on 1 of the 4 dryers I used, because it finished before the one I started before it (they were set for the same amount of time). Also worth mentioning, their parking situation pretty much stinks and the noise is awful. There's ridiculously loud gaming machines, not cool arcade games, but "luck/prize" games and a tv (what was being said could be made out most of the time) is almost above them. The noise started getting to me after a while. Oh, and my phone didn't locate WiFi for them. Not a pleasant experience. read more

I am not a regular user of laundromats; however, I periodically take comforters and larger items to a laundromat. I went to Sue's Laundromat in Warrenton, VA, yesterday to wash and dry a king-size comforter. I dreaded going because I usually find the laundromat dirty, with some inoperable machines, and generally unkempt. Not this one. Not only is it sparkly clean (Someone was actually wiping down each machine while I was there - on her day off, she told another customer.), but it is fully equipped with dollar bill changers (not one, but two!), and a dispenser of laundry products that is kept full. The staff was very helpful to me as I found the appropriate size machine and tried to operate the dollar bill changer incorrectly. The business is rather small inside, but run so efficiently it operates more smoothly than larger laundromats. I don't know who Sue is, but I love her laundromat! read more

I have been impressed about the cleanliness at Sue's laundromat. The floors, the washers, the driers, the folding areas, the chairs, everything is kept clean. The personell is friendly and helpful. There is a change machine when one doesn't bring enough quarters. Washers and dryers work well. And they have free WIFI. What more could I want? read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The people that work here are dirty, the machines don't work right half the time and you always feel like you're in the middle of drug deal... I asked to speak with someone else and was informed that the owner was in the hospital. But on the same note I was also infomed that other customers has called this person to make a complaint. It's clean, but after coming in many times with no problems with the staff, tonight totally blew me away. My husband and I walked in 15 minutes before "last wash" (8pm) with 1 basket of clothes, the girl comes running down the ramp inside shouting" ma'am, ma'am, I close at 8 so you need to get your clothes in by 8", like I'm some idiot who can't read the sign on the door and hasn't come in here before. Not to mention, she had actually locked the doors before I even got there because another customer had to unlock it for me. Now she's running around, swerving in and out around all the guests, scrambling to clean up making irritated sounds, constantly checking to make sure the doors are locked. This place closes at 10, and I'm not leaving a second before. I used to work here years ago, and we actually cared about our guests and good guest service, not just trying to get off the clock. I don't mind coming here to do my laundry, the prices are fair even though I do wish the front loaders had more wash options like Liberia laundromat in manassas. Usually I make the trip out there because the staff is super friendly (bringing carts out to the curb to bring in your laundry), it's open 24/7, and for the better machines. Sue's just gets the job done, but does not exceed my expectations. I know it's just a laundromat, but I'm still paying money here, so I deserve some respect.
