First time customer. I was very impressed with the extremely clean washer and dryer's the entire laundromat was clean and orderly. The employee assisted me with the washing machine she was very nice. What a nice place!! Washing machine is $6.00 and dryer is .50¢ every ten minutes. Total was $7.00 one full load took about 45 minutes total. I definitely recommend KINGS LAUNDROMAT location: Columbia Junction Center Washington Boulevard Route 1 Jessup, Maryland behind the Popeyes restaurant. Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 AM Monday through Saturday. Sunday 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM machines take quarters and credit cards. read more

Great laundromat. The brand new machines take cash or card. They have several sizes of machines. Two or three TVs on with news channels. If you sit on the couch near the back, you can hear the soft music playing. I wish the laundry folding tables were larger, that's my only complaint. read more

Kings laundromat is a very clean establishment. The machines are clean. They have people available to answer questions. Their price for the machines are with them reason they're not too pricey and I would highly recommend using this facility and I plan on using it again until my plumbing issues are fixed. read more

Very clean and it's great they don't make you buy a card. I only go to a laundromat for stuff that I can't do at home and appreciate the maintenance of this place. My only issue was that the cycles seemed really short- 22 minutes on normal in the $5 and $6 machines. In 2 of the machines I used when they were finished, there was still visible soap and I had only used 1 pod in the big machines. I will come back and use the tiniest amount of soap next time. read more

My washer broke down and our clothes piled up. On a snowy, socially distanced Sunday I drove to this laundromat because of the reviews. They have Immaculate, large washers and dryers. The service person helped me start my first washer. I washed, dried, and folded 9 large loads of laundry in three hours! It was a thing of beauty. I was sad when the washer was fixed. Our washer broke so in the interim of waiting for the new unit to be delivered, we needed to find a clean, reliable and safe location to wash clothes. King was our choice. For starters, the place is very clean which is a necessary plus. Not only were there several options for load sizes, but the rates were reasonable. I loved the fact that the machines have a tap pay option. You can still pay with coins if you'd like, but I prefer contactless. Only downside, some of the machines were coin only or tap only at the time. I suppose they needed servicing. Added plus ... there was an attendant on-site that assisted with swiping the machine when I had issues. They were very helpful. read more

It was clean inside and plenty of washer/dryers. Lots of seating and it's near places to get something to eat. I just washed a comforter and it costs $7.75 and the drying was about $3.00. The highest/largest washer was $10/$11. Felt safe waiting for clothes. You can pay either by coins or debit card. They have a cash machine for $1 or $5 bill to get quarters. I prefer to do cash then use my card for possible fraud on card. But otherwise a great laundry mat place. read more

This laundry mat is such a great location. It can get busy on the weekends but the weekdays is the perfect time to go. All the machines and spaces are clean and there is so much space! I go to wash my super large fleece comforter and they have a wash that can hold like 5 loads in it. Overall, I definitely recommend if you need to use a Laundromat. read more

I never thought I'd be giving a laundromat a 5-star review but it's the last day of 2020 so let's do this. I typically am not a superstitious person but I usually subscribe to the clean your house and do all your laundry before the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Day belief. I had several comforters and blankets that I wanted to wash and thought it would be best to utilize the bigger machines at the laundromat instead of my washer and dryer at home. After looking into some nearby laundromats, I came across King's Laundromat. Needless to say, the Yelp reviews are legit! This place is spacious with several rows of washing machines and plenty of dryers. It's super clean. I'm assuming it must be fairly new. They even have card readers on the machines so you can use your debit/credit card to pay. The days of running to the ATM for cash to turn into quarters are over! They offer free Wi-Fi as well. As with most laundromats, they offer a wash and fold service if you don't have the time or energy to do your own laundry. They also sell detergent and fabric softener just in case you happen to forget yours or run out. I don't see myself at the laundromat as much as I used to (thank goodness!) but this is definitely where I'll be when I have to go. read more

This was a nice place to wash . Everything was really clean and nice . The machines take card or u can use cash . All of my things were washed well and smelled great afterwards. The dryers are nice and hot too and hold a lot . The lady working was really helpful showing me how to do my payment on the dryer which was much appreciated. The stores next to this spot were all nice and clean out side with plenty of parking . And if u want while your washing there are some amazing taco trucks just down the road . Yes I said trucks!! Weekly or twice weekly visits here. I have pets and so I launder large bulky laundry here frequently. It's very clean both the facilities and machines. The owner and staff are very pleasant. Anytime I've had an issue they have delivered top notch customer service. It's not exactly convenient for me location wise but it's the best laundromat in the area. read more

This laundromat was impeccably clean. I even saw the attendant wipe down the washing machines after I used them. The only negative is when I paid with cash I was charged one price, but when I used my card I was charged a totally different price. Other than that one defect I would highly recommend. read more

Waiting on our dryer to be repaired took me to Kings laundromat. Highly recommend, I did a weeks worth of laundry in two hours, they have large load washers and dryers, everything is clean, plenty of laundry carts, music, places to sit, vending machines and a front desk for cleaning services. read more

WOW! I wondered if a laundromat could really be worth 5 stars, but this place is awesome. Prices are lower than any of their competitors and you can use credit cards rather than a pocket full of quarters (or you can use them if you are old school). They also have a drop off service if you are too busy to do your own laundry. And they have clean restrooms to boot! read more
