This laundromat has a variety of sizes for their washer (double loader, giant, and mega loaders) and dryers. I made the mistake of going to the first washer I saw not realizing they were the bigger than what I needed to wash a comforter and two bathroom rugs. The double loaders are $2.75, the giant loaders are $4.75, and the mega loaders are $6.25 or $8.25. The washers and dryers require quarters. There was a change machine but it was out of order so I think you could make change at the counter. I was pleased with the wash but personally think it could have rung the water out better. You can select the time for the dryers which is convenient so you can adjust based on your load. The laundromat also sells laundry goods in a vending machine for individual loads or at the counter for bigger loads. They also have soda that they sell for $1 and coffee for $.50. They also had folding tables and carts for your laundry loads. I thought it was cute when I saw a lady standing on a stepping stool to reach the detergent dispensers on top of the front loaders. I am grateful that this laundromat is so close to home, and when I see folks coming in with loads of laundry it makes me appreciate how lucky I am that I only need to come here annually to wash big and bulky items. read more

Best place to do laundry and nicest lady that works the business. Clean and reliable machines

The laundromat is OK. It's not the greatest. I come here maybe once every two weeks as it is close to my Job. I live in small DC house and dont have a washer and dryer. So I use this place in a pinch. Today I saw the male owner vacuuming out the vents in the dryers. He only did one side of the laundromat as I saw. Of course people grab those right away. So I asked the female owner were the dyers on the other side of the laundromat vacuumed out. She went off on my and was indicating that they are vacuumed everyday and them accused me of being picky. However, when I come here i really say anything to these people. So come here at your own risk. If you have a question be prepared to get your head chewed off. read more

My washer broke down right before Christmas and when the repair company with the American Home Shield contact informed me, on 12/26/18, that the part I needed would not arrive for another ten days, I was forced to go to a laundromat for the first time in decades. The place was filthy with old shabby furnishings. The Chinese owners, though pleasant, reminded me of condescending prison guards, with numerous keys hanging on their belt loops, supervising the inmates. They spoke Chinese to each other and their English was extremely difficult to decipher. The customers, by the way, were overwhelmingly Black and Latino. I am Black and felt degraded and uncomfortable. Why are these kinds businesses in Howard County always located in majority Black and Brown communities? In order to use the machines, a customer much exchange cash for quarters which are distributed in old casino-like coin tubs. Today my experience at the Super Wash Landromat in Laurel, owned by Latinos, was 300% better. The customers were economicall diverse, at least one was dealing with washer or dryer problems at home and some were washing bulky items more conducive to large capacity machines. The place was clean, the furnishings new and the attendents were helpful and able to communicate with me in a kind and helpful manner. I was also able to trade cash for a card with the requisite amount of money! No quarters were needed. read more

I was trying to multi-task, so I decided I would do my laundry on my lunch break. I did a quick google search for a coin laundry near my job and found this place. It was super clean, and even though it was crowded mid-day...I did not have a problem getting a machine to wash or dry. The price is great...8.25 for a giant machine...2.75 for a double load machine... both of which are cheaper than my normal laundromat. The attendants (there was a shift change) were both nice, but neither spoke English too well....which was fine if all you were doing was washing. This laundromat also has a mini-supply store stocked with laundry detergent, softeners and huge laundry bags. Cons: The reason I took away a star is because the laundromat is located on the interior walkway of a strip mall. If you have large loads of clothes to wash...you have to walk a long way carrying your clothes. You can run in first and get a cart...but it is still a loonnnnnng way. If I go back, I will make sure I have the hubby or the kids to help me. read more

Clean & easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because it was within a strip village type outdoor mall that requires a walk from the parking lot. I realized after walking through the center I should have entered on the left entrance if your facing the little police station/office. It had some huge 75lb 5 load washers for all my small floor rugs that never get quite clean in the home washing machine. They're expensive $6.25 front loafers but fast. Be cautious there's two places for liquid soap - prewash and wash plus a place for powder soap and fabric softener so I doubled my soap not realizing & prob needed an extra rinse but didn't wanna pay again. The place is ok but wish there was a place closer with easier parking. The woman working was very helpful and provides quarters and lends you a container to carry them in. read more

Good experience! Never used a laudromat before so was nervous. I had three comforters to wash: a twin, full and queen. Used 75lb washer ($8.25) and was able to wash all three together. Put all three in large dryer for 50 min ($3.00) and viola, all done! Worker didn't speak English but polite. The instructions on machines were helpful when I took the time to read them. Only draw back was location...interior side of strip mall. I had a collapsible wagon with me so was able to do all in one trip. They do have carts there if you need them. So our system recently had some malfunctions so I have had to find a local laundromat in the process. Luckily I came across this place. I must say it's super clean small and quaint and the owners own the dry cleaners next door so they are always available for malfunctions or general questions. Never a huge crowd. Haven't been to a laundromat in years and this one is a lot better than the one I used to go to in Brooklyn. I was doing my spring cleaning and had to wash king and queen sized comforters. The attendant was SUPERB. He went above and beyond helping me. He selected the right size machine for me that fit all 4 of my comforters at once. FYI it was the mega one for $8.25. He even put them in and the quarters. It only took $2 more dollars to dry them in their big dryegrs. The place is clean. The machine look well maintained. I came at 4pm on a Wednesday, so I can't tell you about the service when it's busy. read more

I have to say that although the walk is a little annoying, the people there are really nice and there is security there which makes you feel safe. No one bothers you. My dryer broke so all I needed was to dry and the employee was okay with it. read more
