I wanted to write a review on this particular Laundromat because IMHO, they were different. I've driven past this Laundromat a couple of times before deciding to go in. I went on a Monday night, thinking it wasn't going to be busy. Boy was I wrong, it was busy! One of the two coin changers was not working and had an out of order sign. Aside from the broken machine and a few lint balls on the floor - I was pretty impressed with this store. Overall it was pretty clean and bright compared to other Laundromats I've been to. The attendant greeted me when I came in and helped everyone w/ bringing in their laundry - I have never ever seen this at any of the other Laundromats I've been to. Maybe it's because I don't frequent them enough but I really like the way they run their business here. They even give away prizes every month which I thought was a nice gesture but not sure why a Laundromat would do that. I used their biggest machine - I believe the attendant told me it had a 75lb capacity? It was $8.00 for the hot wash and for one of the large dryers it was $0.25 for every 3 minutes. I washed 2 comforters, one king & one queen, and it took me only 35 minutes. When the wash was completed the comforters were only slightly damp which was strange since I know I saw water soaking them. I asked the attendant about it and I guess the washers spin so fast that it dispels most of the water - allowing for quicker drying, which is always a plus in my book. I had the comforters in the dryer for only 25 minutes and they were completely dry! I was in and out of there in just under an hour - AMAZING! I thought my experience was good and warranted a review so if you're in the Manassas area and need a Laundromat, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't come here - this is now my go to spot for comforters!

I specifically explained this a re-clean because they didn't clean it effectively the first time. Upon picking up the jacket the second time, the same smell exists and is easily detected by waving the jacket around. The staff claim they can't smell any body odor. I was absolutely appalled 1) that they claimed they couldn't smell it and 2) they refused to return the paid amount $8.50. Why would I bother to give them a third chance to 'clean' it again. I explained I have been coming here for a number of years (mostly laundry not dry-cleaning) and asked why they are they lying, not providing a cleaned product, and do they not care about retaining customers. The owner said, 'We don't need your business.' Well there you have it folks, consider finding a dry cleaner that actually needs customers instead of taking money for continued failed service. We had several weeks' worth of laundry piled up, including tons of toddler clothes that I typically stay on top of daily. Jeff (the owner) called me within hours and took the time to walk me through everything. I had a lot of questions since this was our first time using a service like this, and he was incredibly patient and helpful. The next morning, my husband dropped off our giant load - 9 garbage bags totaling 214 lbs (!!). The staff was expecting him, helped unload everything, and had him in and out within minutes. About 24 hours later, everything was ready. It was all perfectly cleaned, neatly folded, and organized. Socks were paired, toddler clothes/pants/shirts were grouped and wrapped separately, and everything was sorted in a way that made putting it away so much easier. The staff even brought everything out and loaded it into the car. The whole process was so seamless and efficient it honestly felt super luxurious. What really stood out was how reasonable the pricing was given the amount of laundry and the level of service. We just found out our new washer and dryer delivery has been delayed again, and my first thought was to send another load to Swiftdrop. At this point, we've joked about sticking with Swiftdrop's wash-and-fold service instead of replacing our machines! They will over charge you SO MUCH compared to any other dry cleaners I've ever been to. 2. I came back home with a cardigan that had 7 different holes in my sweater... was so upset and frustrated. I called them back and the lady said sweaters tear during the process if it's too thin. Why did they charge as a heavy sweater then? And if it was damaged, why didn't they call me to let me know that it was damaged before I picked it up? The lady transferred me over to this guy (assuming it's the owner) and he said I already had holes in my sweater. Cleaners call their customers when they spot any flaws before beginning their process of dry cleaning but I didn't receive a single call. I wouldn't have dropped my sweater at the cleaners in the first place if I had any disorientation on my clothes. What's the point of paying to get something dry cleaned if it has flaws already? Extremely rudely, he said he would try fixing it by sewing the holes together. How can I trust this place with anything? He should clearly know that this type of fabric CANNOT be sewed together! I wasted my money on dry cleaning clothes that I can NEVER wear again... And he just hung up the phone on me without any apology. 3. Customer service is complete garbage. He specializes in cleaning wedding dresses, which makes me feel more at ease to leave my beautiful gown with him. He told me my dress would be ready in a week! How quick!
