We just finished a 3-car garage conversion with GADI Construction and we are so so happy with the way it came out. I met with five other contractors before finding them, and they were by far the most transparent and easy to work with. No ego, and unlike some others, they didn't insist my husband be present for the decision-making. That alone was such a breath of fresh air. The whole project took only three weeks! We put in new floors, added lighting, and they built a wall in front of the single-car garage that looks totally natural from the outside but lets us keep the light coming in. Inside, it now feels like a family room/gym instead of a garage, which is exactly what we wanted. Nadav, our project manager, was fantastic...professional, responsive, and just easy to communicate with. GADI also has an amazing network: we used their mirror guy for custom gym mirrors, and it turned out great. Our home remodeling project is finally complete (almost 2 year ordeal), but team at Gadi Construction made this navigation manageable. First shout out to Millie Studnict(Project Manager) . If you've ever gone through a major home renovation, you'd have many questions, decisions, surprises, inspections, and frustration. Throughout the entire process, Millie was always there with an answer, a solution, or simply the patience to walk us through the next step. What I appreciated most was that Millie genuinely cared. No matter how busy things got, she always returned calls, responded to emails, and kept us informed. There were plenty of times when we were unsure about something, and Millie never made us feel like we were asking too many questions. The entire Gadi team was great to work with as well. I would not recommend GADI. We had them do a small reno including reframing a closet, replacing a bathroom vanity and painting some doors. They did not communicate well, the project management was poor, and their attention to detail was shockingly lacking. They got paint on our bedding and walls and did not mention it (we had to). Among the several issues we had: they had to redo their work due to mis-measuring - which again we had to point out to them, and they tried to convince us the closet door framing they installed was identical to the rest of the house while it was objectively a different width. While I understand it was a smaller job, it felt like they were doing it as quickly and cheaply as possible and did not care at all about the quality of the outcome. read more

We found GADI Construction on Yelp and requested a quote to get a skylight and change our fireplace from a classic to electric insert, as well as living room and kitchen wall painting. We worked with Nadav, who quickly responded to our request and worked on a quote in Fall 2024. Our project was significantly delayed due to the permit process and our international trips (so plan better and know your city/county permit timelines and follow up with GADI more regularly!). When we finally got everything together early this fall, Nadav and the team showed up consistently and worked fast. Besides the planned projects, they also helped with some improvements in our garage (such as stronger stairs to the roof and one garage wall). We appreciated the professionalism and care from the whole crew - Eddy and the others. We encountered some challenges along the way such as not being able to find the exact hard floor tile when we changed the fire place, so we recommend you consult about such details more clearly and do your own work on what is needed such as researching materials in advance so there are not delays in your project. We live in a 1950 sq. ft. home built in the 1950s on a 7500 sq. ft. lot. We had a lot of space but because of long hallways and small rooms a lot of the space was not being used. We were inviting construction project managers to suggest what we could do. We loved Millie's energy and bubbly attitude. She encouraged us to think "out of the room". After Gadi was done, our home has come alive! We are able to use the space efficiently. I feel like someone removed a wall in front of my face! The walls which blocked the sunlight both in the mornings and evenings fills our home with that same bubbly energy that Millie brought with her. We notice our mood is uplifted all the time. We can see nature from every angle in the living area. Millie helped us make space for our yoga/gym room where we invite friends and family for doing yoga and meditation every weekend. We are now able to fit everybody comfortably in this expanded space of 40*15 sq. ft. area with stunning views of the mountains on one side and the lovely backyard with orange, lime, pomegranate, persimmon trees and lots of flowers on the other. This large yoga room can also be converted into 2 bedrooms if required! This feels like a post modern home now, not the old 1950s single family home. The execution was flawless and was completed on schedule. And Millie implored us to share what we felt even as the construction continued. She always wanted to know what we really felt deep down. She accommodated all our requests and reviewed the progress with us. If something had to be the way it is she explained why with a lot of patience. I would request you to give Millie a chance whenever you plan to make changes in your home. Making big unknown changes can be very stressful but she will explain everything to you with respect to pros and cons and costs with patience. read more

Hiring GADI Construction was one of the most traumatic decisions I've made. What started as a simple 3-month bathroom remodel and addition turned into a 9+ month nightmare because of their mistakes. They caused several floods, leading to extended damage and construction far beyond the original scope--including mold, structural damage, and ruined floors. They would add crooked walls, kept breaking things, redoing tiles; they redid the newly added bathroom three times due to their own mistakes. Unfortunately, the list of issues is just too long for a simple review. I eventually brought in 3rd party professionals for inspections of their work. Despite disclosing that I'm respiratory compromised, the crew left my home filled with dust, debris, and nails. I had no kitchen for months and no working shower for weeks. They broke a gas dispensing knob on the oven and sealed it with silicone--a serious fire hazard they never disclosed. They kept trying to fix things, but every attempt led to more damage, stress, and delay. Eventually they finished the project but even now, I keep finding new problems, and they respond late or not at all. This was supposed to be my dream home. Instead, they left me with trauma. My husband and I bought a house which needed massive updating. We interviewed six general contractors in order to do the "rough work" for our renovation and ended up choosing Millie, our project manager from GADI. This was our first time doing such a project so we knew we needed someone we could rely on and trust to guide us through the process. Millie is really special - she's the opposite of what you read or hear about regarding those nightmare renovation projects that go wrong. Millie was responsive throughout the entire process, always willing to answer any question no matter how big or small, she always had a "can do" or "problem solving" attitude, and she didn't make you feel judged when budget was the bottom line. GADI was responsible for updating the important structural framework and guts for our house including updating all the electrical and upgrading the subpanel box, installing and wiring for recessed lights, retrofitting and doing new build windows for the entire house, reframing and dropping the front-entry doorway, removing a raised platform at the entryway, framing new walls and doors for the new layout, doing the rough plumbing for all the bathrooms, and repiping the water lines. Very good experience overall. We got a kitchen remodel and new floors throughout our house. Right off the bat I didn't feel like anyone from GADI was trying to sell us anything in a pushy way. They also were the only company that brought up asbestos testing when consulting. They let us make the calls and helped along the way. Importantly to us, Effie and his team completed the work within the timeframe he gave us. Effie was very flexible and was ok with us using ikea for the cabinets. One of the workers broke part of the stove when installing and Effie took out the price of the new stove from our final payment. Very standup move in my opinion. I will say we had to take pictures of some details his team missed. But they repaired them all in time so no complaints with the final product. Highly recommend. read more

He didn't push for expense add-on like the other contractors I spoke with did. I've waited a while to review the work GADI did on my home, even though there were immediate issues with the work done. The initial work was completed in 2021, and included a 2nd story bathroom remodel and new flooring throughout the upstairs. During the work, I was told there were some floor leveling issues, and was charged extra for the repair work. 2 days after work was completed, water started leaking through the ceiling on the 1st floor, causing a repair that required ripping out the drywall and ceiling to fix the plumbing issue caused by the contractor. I only caught the leak by filling the bathtub to do a stress test. If I hadn't done that right after the job was done, who knows when the leak would have been detected. While GADI did repair the leak, I noticed other issues that have only gotten worse over time. After a year or so, I noticed the floor boards upstairs were sagging, and the sag has gotten so bad that the boards started to crack. I hired another contractor to repair the flooring, and when they lifted up the floorboards, I saw cardboard - cutouts from the flooring boxing - used to level the subfloor. This was the repair work that GADI charged me multiple thousands for - a repair using CARDBOARD. For your time, peace of mind, and wallet, I can't recommend using GADI as a contractor. Even if it was the subcontractors they hired who made the mistakes or used poor construction practices, GADI is still responsible for working with these subcontractors, and signing off on their poor work. read more

I had an amazing experience working with GADI Construction on my full bathroom renovation and floor renovation. When I was researching quotes between different contractors, GADI's had some of the most competitive quotes out there. What made them stand out from other contractors was the price point, great communication style with the project manager, and the many reliable reviews online. Bar was our project manager and he was wonderful to work with! Even when giving a quote, he was very diligent in explaining the whole process, checking all the little details in the bathroom and letting us know upfront what to expect with the changes I was proposing, and gave alternatives to how we can do certain parts of the construction. He even went shopping with us several times to pick out all the materials, and never pressured us to do any changes we weren't fully onboard with. He kept us updated frequently with updates during construction, and was very responsive during the whole process. When there were any issues that arose, he would try to fix them as quickly as possible. We were originally going to have another contractor redo the floors by replacing the laminate flooring with SPC flooring as well as leveling the floors, but because of the great communication and progress during the bathroom renovation we decided to sign with GADI again for the floors. We hired GADI for our kitchen remodel. We would not hire GADI again. We cannot recommend GADI. Looking back, we should have ended their involvement much earlier. We liked all of the people involved but we gave them way too many second chances.  Most parts of the job needed to be done more than once.  We heard them say "Don't worry, we can do it again" all too often.  Project management was lacking; we requested an alternate project manager only to have the problems continue with the second one. The owner was willing to listen to feedback, but actions and corrective responses were limited.  With the job in the finishing phases, we simply had lost all confidence that they could produce quality work.  We ended GADI's involvement in our remodel.  We paid GADI in excess of $100k.  That money would have been better spent on a contractor with clear and consistent communication, craftsmanship, and consideration for our home.  Unfortunately, that was not GADI. read more
