The mushrooms were small button mushrooms with sautéed onions. Part of the steak was nice and tender but there were parts that were tough and grisly and fatty. It was okay but not something I would order again. The onion rings, 3, were heavily breaded, stuck together and were not appetizing to look at and definitely not to eat. The fries were nice and crispy and served very not. This was an okay meal but based on it I'm not sure we'd make a return trip. Seating was probably the most comfortable that we have found recently but the place is very noisy and makes it hard to hold a conversation. The unusually large twisted orange peel probably contributed and it may have had more than the customary amount of bitters. For dessert we shared a Sticky Toffee Pudding, served with vanilla ice cream, attractively presented with a dusting of sugar, whipped cream, and a ground cherry complete with its leaves.
