We have been ordering pizzas and wings from the Stonehaven location for years. Usually ok. This time we ordered 2 steak subs. Never again! We had the online supervisor look into it but the store relayed that this is the normal amount of meat and we should have hit the add more meat button. Really? We stopped in for breakfast while we were in the area. There's a takeout counter to the left of the entrance and dining area to the right. It's definitely a popular place for breakfast and we were surprised to see that many tables already taken up so early in the morning. The booths are separated by the plexiglass/plastic dividers. My husband already knew he was going to get the meat lover pizza frittata. It was a 6" breakfast pizza with bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, and a hollandaise sauce base instead of tomato sauce. It also came with home fries and fresh fruit. The pizza was just as expected, very filling, and he ate most but not all of it. I wasn't super hungry, so I got the sunrise special, which comes with one egg, homefries, toast, and choice of three slices of bacon, three sausage links, or two slices of ham. I got my egg poached medium with sausage and rye toast. It was $11.50, which I found to be a little high for only one egg and no fruit, so maybe it's a bit cheaper at other places, but not a big deal. I was happy that the egg was actually poached rather than the time I had a sort of steamed egg at a Gabriel's years and years ago. It was a nice medium, two slices of rye toast were lightly toasted and buttered, sausage was great and there were plenty of crispy home fries. I also had a hot water with lemon and shared the little fruit bowl that my husband got with his meal. No complaints, though the folks in the booth in front of us had plenty, not about the food or service, but about other people haha. It seemed like there was a certain demographic at that time of day, possibly regulars, and plenty of hot gossip to go around. Made for an unexpected, very entertaining morning! read more

I ordered a small pizza from Gabriel's in Kanata on Stonehaven Dr. For this small pizza the total was $20.06 after taxes. Pretty expensive. Plus the cost of gas to drive there and back to pick it up. When I paid for it, their machine asked me if I wanted to tip and it gave me choices. 10%, 15%, 18%, 20%, No Tip. I pressed the down arrow until it highlighted No Tip and then pressed ACCEPT on the machine. The machine charged me a 10% tip anyway. It's outrageous what these companies are doing. I won't go there again. This was take out. No one served me at a table. No one delivered it to my door. I ordered and expected to pay what was on their web site. It came to $22.07. That's a pretty expensive cost for a small pizza. I think people need to stop visiting the places that do this. read more

Mmmmmy morning was made after having breakfast at Gabriel Pizza. Who knew? I always thought they just had my favourite pizza, but NO their breakfast is off the hook. Pricing is a bit higher than a typical diner or pub breakfast, but less than those breakfast specific places, and their portions are generous so to me- it's worth the couple extra bucks. When it comes to breakfast I can eat a LOT and I always have a hard time deciding. Thankfully, this place has a nice extensive menu that has something for everyone, including the ever indecisive breakfast fanatic. Their bacon is done nicely, not under cooked, not burnt. I don't know about you, but for me that's important for my breakfast. The potatoes are well seasoned and just slightly crisp on the outside. I ordered a "delivery" Hawaiin pizza on Saturday night, and it was mainly cheese and pineapple. There was some ham on it, but it was paper thin, sparse, and I could not taste it at all. The tomato sauce overpowered everything. This is not the first time I have had low standard food from them, but I thought that I would give them a second chance. I won't be ordering from them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Takeout is expensive enough that you would expect decent flavour and quality. read more

Great food overall. I haven't tried all the menu, but their pizza is good, pasta is good, and chicken burgers are good. Great service too.

We went here for breakfast one morning and man did we ever leave happy. We weren't expecting a nice restaurant when walking into Gabriel pizza but thats what we got, and a nice bar area as well. We both ordered breakfast and the portions were incredible. There's no way you could walk out of there hungry! Definitely recommend this place for a good breakfast =) read more

Just want to say that this one star isn't for the food which is pretty decent but for what just happened after our delivery. My wife ordered for us while I was at work and it came right as I got home. She paid for the food and put it on the counter and went upstairs and I started eating some wings. She came down and said she hadn't ordered wings. She pointed out a few items we hadn't ordered (we weren't charged for these) and then the delivery driver started calling. She answered and he asked if we had the food. She explained what happened and he asked if it was still in good condition and could he come get it to bring to the right house! As a customer and someone who has worked in the restaurant and delivery business for different places over the years that is gross! I wouldn't want my food after some stranger already ate some! This is our neighbourhood pizza joint and I love it. Pizza is always good. I especially enjoy their all-meat pizza. They also put LOTS OF CHEESE on the pizza, which rocks. They also serve breakfast but I have yet to try it. read more

It is with a heavy heart that I knock you down to four stars. Four stars is still good but I've come to expect greatness from this franchise. There appeared to be less toppings on our pizza than we're typically use to. I didn't even notice that there was chicken on the pizza because the chucks were so small. I felt this same concern with the feta cheese chunks. Don't push me away Gabriel. Next time I come to Kanata, I'll have to drive into the location I know and trust in Ottawa. At first I thought, maybe, it was just one bad chef. But then I remembered that Gabriel's added new menu items recently. You've got chicken bites, poutines--you're distracted! What you gotta do is focus on the pizza then you might be able to become what you've been before, but better. 4 stars! read more

We've gotten pizza from several places since we moved to Ottawa in July and this one is by far the best we've had yet. The crust is crispy on the bottom and chewy and the sauce is great. I don't like a particularly acidic tomato sauce on my pizza and this one wasn't acidic at all - this one was fantastic. When I ordered it said it would be here within 55 min and it was here in about 20. There is no online ordering, which is a little weird and the only reason it took us this long to try it, but I'm glad we finally did! read more

Gabriel's pizza is not great, but it is good. Sometimes they don't put enough sauce and toppings (even when you order extra) and the bread is hard and not tasty. It's also pretty expensive for what you get. If you want pizza, Gabriel's will satisfy your craving but its on par with pizza pizza in my opinion. read more

Used to love their pizza. We ordered a half vegetarian and half meat pizza and two other sides a sub and zucchini sticks. It arrived cold. Yet the zucchini sticks were still hot! So the pizza must have been sitting on a counter for a while! Also the black olives were just thrown on top and they fell off when we picked up a slice. The crust was too thick. Ordered 8 times, same thing for me lasagna. So two times the extra cheese I ordered was non-existent and two times it was an hour and a half to deliver across the street. The first time it was an hour and a half it came cold lol and the second time I cancelled. Now my son was a loyal customer until who orders all the time they delayed him an hour and 15 minutes. Coming in from out of town I didn't know what the pizza scene would be like out here. We ordered 2 large pizzas from Gabriel's and while originally when I ordered the za I thought the price was a bit steep after I ate it I understood. Tons of cheese, real bacon (not bacon bits but glorious strips) and finally a thicker crust pizza that was cooked all the way through. Only thing that made this better is that while I sit here and write my review I'm eating a piece microwaved and it honesty might even taste a little bit better. 4.5/5! read more

I don't get it. If I wanted a hamburger and fries that came from the freezer I would make it at home. And I would enjoy it more too. Yes I know it's a pizza joint - but I went to the restaurant for a work lunch and frankly I don't find there pizza all that great anymore so I thought I would try something different. Went to Ottawa for a quick trip to the outlets and stopped at Gabriel's for a quick bite. I had a 9inch pizza cheese pepperoni and bacon was fantastic My wife had a club sandwich so we split it both and was more the enough for us pizza is AMAZING fresh tasty and nice quality sauce. Club sandwich was great! For once not overwhelming on the chicken usually I go to place where they exaggerate pm chicken but here is perfect! Place is clean nice ambiance hockey game was playing and they had a special 1pound wings for 5$ or 9 inch pizza 3 toppings 10$ great clean place couldn't ask for a better place. We have been to Gabriel's Pizza on Stonehaven Rd. in Kanata twice for breakfast. Both times the service was terrible. The first time, we were left sitting at our table for 20 min before anyone served us. They screwed up my daughter's order and we didn't see the waitress again until we got our bill. We complained to the manager and she compted our meal which was appreciated. We decided to give it another try 2 months later. We were seated and served coffee in about 1 minute, our waitress came with 5 min of that. We got our food and I asked for a juice....we never saw her again until she brought the bill (which included the juice I never got). She said she was sorry and would remove the charge. She returned with a new bill at which time I told her she didn't check on us at all during our meal. She said she did and we promptly corrected her. She then said (with attitude) "I'm sorry you didn't like my service" and walked away. We didn't bother talking to the manager this time..just paid (NO TIP) and left. We will never go back and will not recommend this place to anyone, infact we will discourage anyone who asks. read more
