When I came in my nails were destroyed from a different salon... There SNS nail service is amazing. Made my nails look beautiful and the way they did it was just spectacular. I got my sns nails removed and it was really good I had them on for a little over a month. The nails were so great. Not one broke. But when I got my nails taken off I said I just wanted them painted. I asked for a vans design with the lettering and the checkerboards. She later said it was to hard and left me with plain black nails. I definitely recommend sns nails but not getting them painted. For sns they are really awesome and definitely affordable. They use clean products and work hard. I recommend the one with tattoos because she is so great at doing my nails and my nails were not broken. I was so impressed. When I got my nails done at another place by the new Kroger they broke within 3 days of me being careful and completely damaged my nails for months. This review will be my pedicure, my manicure, and my fiancé's pedicure. My fiancé had his hot stone pedicure done by Selena and he was obsessed. I asked him if he could describe his experiences 3 words he said "relaxing, efficient, and perfection". Coming from a guy, I'd say that's David did my hot stone pedicure and let me tell you... best one I've had in years! He worked his magic! I will definitely be asking for him from now on. Kevin did my sns ombré manicure and wow! NES ombré ever! It blends perfectly. I've worked at a nail salon before and our techs couldn't even do this. I'll be requesting David and Kevin from now on. Update - it appears they adjusted my tip line; the credit card company is unable to get a copy of the receipt so I reached out to GA Nails to get a copy. After much discussion, they agreed to locate and send me a copy. However, I have yet to receive it. Also, during the call, the manager confirmed, they over charged my daughter's pedicure. Unfortunately this was the most uncomfortable pedicure I have had. The gentleman that did my pedi was rough; didn't clip my toenails completely. He left a little and pulled it off; buffed it very rough. Massage was mediocre; short and painful. Paint job wasn't that great. I won't be back again, esp for $26. read more

The first time I went to the salon the managers husband cut my finger open with what I later was told was a brand new drill they applied what I thought was an antiseptic and 24 hours later I had to seek medical help because I had pus running out of my finger despite me putting Neosporin and a Band-Aid on it. subsequently I went back and showed them what had happened and they were very apologetic and gave me more Band-Aids and they all talk to me and gave me a $30 gift card. I went back the following week for a pedicure figuring this was a one time incident and he would not be anywhere near me again that was fine. taking the chance that it was a one time event I went back today to have my S & S taken off and a gel manicure. Who did they send to take the S & S off but the man fortunately all he had to do was wrap my fingers with acetone and aluminum foil and then walked away. The young lady came to do my nails she took the rest of the previous acrylic off and then started applying the gel polish without filing my nails without shaping my nails without pushing the cuticle back and as she was applying the polish I told her it was the lump lumpy globs of polish and I was not happy. This is where we pretend to not understand English and said you would love it when it's done I kept saying no I do not like it she kept saying oh it is so pretty I said my nails are sharp can you file them she took a buffer out and just rubbed it across the top of my nails at that point I knew I was not going to get what I wanted and much to my shock they have a sign up that says 20% off and I still had to pay $40 for some thing that is not right that I did not get the service of and again I was told next time you come back we have Manager give you discount well folks there won't be a next time I cannot believe the lack of customer service. And I do need to mention all three times that I went I had an appointment all three times they kept me waiting at least 30 minutes past my appointment time and apologized because there were walkins. I went in today to get my old nails off so I could allow my natural nails to get stronger, and as I was waiting on my friend to get finished, my nail tech. began to CLIP HER FINGER NAILS! I went today to get my nails done. I only do gel on my nails. Every place I've been to in my life soak them and take the polish off easy. The crazy nail technician, started using a drill, I as her not to, to soak them, but she Continued to use the drill, cut every finger on my left hand. I Insisted for her to soak them. She tried to drill my right hand and I told her HELL NO your not going to cut up my other hand. She proceeded to use Emery board, still not listening to what I was saying. Made all of those Cuticles hurt. It was bleeding so bad it was running down my fingers onto her hands. She didn't care at all. Girls never go there. I Complained loudly the whole time, and when it come time to check out, you would think they Wouldn't have charged me , or gave me a discount, but HELL NO. And had enough nerve to ask for a tip. Would not recommend. Got a acrylic set and gel pedicure. I don't understand why they never clean the cuticles. My basic French manicure has bubbles in it from the acrylic and nails are not even. My pedicure is awful. The lady cut my toe nails down to the skin and then filed my nails down round. My nails are naturally square. I will never go back here and will never suggest this place to anyone. $95 wasted. read more

Honestly the best! Since moving to Georgia I have been to many salons where I've been over charged, had poor service and plain out bad nails; however GA Nails is the best I've been to. The employees are quick to make sure I am satisfied with the shape, color, and length. I love getting my acrylics from them and they have a good variety of colors as well. I will say my only concern is that recently I have gone from long square nails to long coffin nails, which is an extra $5 for the shape (which is pretty normal for many salons) yet since getting fill-ins the price has fluctuated from $35-$45, even once having to pay $43. They fo the best quality but I would like to know why it constantly varies. When I first went to them they had prices listed but now no longer do, nor do they explain the cost. Other than that nail techs, Too and Steven are the absolute best and this place is amazing. read more

Not sure if they even deserve the 2 star rating but i have continued to go there for the last year so I guess that says something. But i will never return. I've always done SNS nails and they look decent but I will say it's rare they are all shaped the same and the same length. I always have a few lopsided nails. But you can only tell if really paying attention so i just deal with it. When I finally stopped getting powder done i realized how broken down and thin they were from the over grinding they do to take it off. I've only gotten my toes done there twice-and now i will never return again. I was never a fan of the fact they do your nails while you're getting your toes done. It's impossible to relax when they are pulling at your arms and making you sit in uncomfortable positions. However, some people like that it gets them in and out and I can say that is the one good thing about this place- they are quick usually and they have plenty of staff. But here is the reason I will never go back. My last pedicure on 4/19 the hot water quit working in the middle of filling my tub so the pedicure was cold and not relaxing. I do not have issues with ingrown toenails but my big toes occasionally curve down on the sides if they are too long. The tech used a sharp tool to dig out one side of my left big toe and I would have stopped her had I not been trying to follow directions from the man doing my manicure and not watching her until i felt that. Needless to say I developed an extremely painful bacterial infection. So I will not return. I will spare everyone the photos but BEWARE. read more

Most nail techs make fun of my natural nails as I'm getting them done because I bite them to the nail bed when I'm anxious. "I am not impressed with my experience at all. I have come here 5 times the first 4 were okay not the best but I kept trying. This last time really just was the breaking point. I come in and I ask for gel manicure. My sister gets the same thing we both saw the cool temperature changing nails and we both decided to get them. I got my sns taken off and didn't even get my manicure. I payed 80 for both me and my sister for 2 gel manicures well except we didn't get the manicure part. I decide that five days later and three nail breaks and the rest of them chipped I am going to complain and ask for a refund or redo. I walk in and I tell them my problem about me and my sister and she says that they could do sns and we would just pay for the difference or get gel redo and they look and my nails and see the three broken then they look at my sisters nails and toss them around and say that nothing is wrong with them even though they are cracked. They tell her very rudely that she would have to pay full price for her nails and then a new lady comes up to me and says that I would have to pay 5 times the original quote for sns even though sns and gel cost the same. The other lady said she would do the tips for free because the gel made my nails break off. Then the new lady comes up and continues to say that I would have to pay $15 to give me 3 tips and a color change in gel. I will not be coming back here every again."- my daughter read more

I spent an hour in the salon mostly waiting my turn. I had gone in with the intention to get a manicure and pedicure, which I had explained from the get go. They sat me in the pedicure chair and I waited there for 15-20 minutes for them to even start on my toes and she asked me if i wanted a manicure and I said yes. Once she started it went smoothly until the lady started asking me if i wanted a manicure yet again. I said yes and showed her the picture of what I wanted. She immediately rolled her eyes and began speaking to her coworkers. I felt really uncomfortable after that moment. 10 minutes pass and she asks me AGAIN if i wanted a manicure, I said no and she finished my toes and I left. I was quite upset with the experience and will not be going back. read more

I got my nails done by Jayda. She did a good job on my nails BUT she was the rudest nail tech I've ever dealt with. From the beginning she didn't even greet me as I sat at her station. She just went ahead and started doing my nails without saying a word. Since she didn't ask me, I told her I wanted almond-shaped nails from the start. When she shaped my pinky, she showed me and I approved. After she shaped the rest of my left hand she started with my right one and I looked closely at the rest of my nails. I asked her if she could make them more rounded because they looked too squared. She started yelling in her Asian language and moving her hands fervently. After she was done throwing her fit, she turned to the tech next to her and started talking to her about me and they were both laughing. Then someone else came and sat next to her on the other station and she continued talking about me and how I changed the shape of my nails at the last minute. It literally took her 30 seconds to make my nails little more rounded so I don't understand why she got so upset. I left her a $10 tip on my $35 total (kill them with kindness). The first pedicure was great. However, being new to the area...I really tried to give them a chance with the nails. Each time... yes each time... I always managed to choose a color that needed to be reordered and the techs seem to do the same type of nail shape (square wide) no matter how many times I described what I wanted (square round). My first time at this place and I loved it. I would have given it 5 stars but the customers around me were obnoxious and it put me in sour mood. Tracey did my nails, she is so sweet and my nails turned out perfect. Not sure who did my pedi but it was an hour and a half of heaven. I got the deluxe honey green tea which I was sure was an extra $15 up charge waste but guess what.. it wasn't.. it was for once in my life worth it. OH MY GOODNESS....I love this place and the wonderful people that own it and all the fabulous people who work here! I went to their other salons for years then they sold it. I retired and stayed at home deciding to not get my nails done anymore! My daughter started going to their salon and spa off of Hwy.369 and she reacquainted herself with them at this location. One day I decided I would go there with my daughter and granddaughter to get nails done. I walked in and "Nina" looked up, saw me, and shrieked and came running to give me hugs and kisses! She is the sister of the owner! I felt like I was home again! THERE ARE NOT MANY NAIL TECHS THAT REMEMBER YOU.. especially from 4 years ago!! The owners weren't there at the time. Never again! I went in for a second time for a gel pedicure and fill with gel polish. Once she finished I noticed my nails on the left hand were almost a half inch shorter than the right. When I showed her she said they matched underneath and offered to fix only one nail on the left hand. Only one! Then proceeded to tell me I told her to file down just the one hand. Seriously??? I requested she just take them all off since they look horrible with the different length. She then told me I would be charged the full fee for take off on top of the cost of the fill and polish. Love this place! They dont try to "Nickel & Dime you to death". If you break a nail they will fix it no problem no charge.....will tell you you good customer & we appreciate your business. I have been going to this nail salon for around 3 years now. I get someone different every time, but I'm fine with that because normally I'm satisfied with the outcome. The past 3 times that I have been and I have been completely disappointed. A couple of months ago I had to wait over an hour just for someone to start on my pink and white set. They says that they only have a few people that do acrylic nails and they apologize. In June, I went in and asked about SNS and I change over to that. The girl did a great job and I was satisfied until one nail cracked and they didn't last 3 weeks. I went back on July 11th and had them redone and the cost was $51. Within a week, I had 2 nails broken and today I had my 3rd. I went by the salon to inquire about SNS and why they are breaking. She says they are softer than acrylic and asked if I could come back later because they were busy. I told I had somewhere to be in 2 hours and couldn't and she asked if I could come back another day. She was not concerned at all with my displeasure. I've had acrylic nails since 1999 and never had these issues at any other nail place. I will be going to another place to get my nails fixed and redone and WILL NOT be coming back to GA Nails. Too busy and not customer service oriented. read more
