They've been open 7 months so pretty much brand new. I understand Vietnamese so it was fun just hearing what they had to say about us. To clarify.. my friend wasn't being "difficult" she just wanted time to think if she wanted to get her eyelashes done for the first time. She's never done it before and just didn't want to pay.. if I recall $90 for it? But she felt like it was being pushed on her. I did too. And me.. I don't have a lot of money just because I chose a Royal Spa pedicure or for you to up charge me.. I was spending time away from being a mom and just wanted to be pampered! Any-who, based on the work.. it was okay. The pedicure was decent. The manicure I came in with a pic and well it wasn't executed correctly. One lady knew the idea and the other didn't. The one that knew didn't paint the base first, it was the other one. And then when the main lady came to do it, she put foil on (very quickly and just not trying to replicate the essence of the pic) and I showed her the pic again for the marbling that was supposed to be a part of it. She tried doing it with another paint and it looked horrible so she took it off. I think overall there needs to be more communication. The lady that painted the gel on my nails.. I was so close to showing her the pic but she didn't want to see. The main person had pushed us that they'll do exactly like this, encouraging us to get more things done, etc from the beginning, but overall it just wasn't a relaxing experience. I give it the stars because the nails turned out alright and for the time we shared at the end when I responded in Vietnamese to them as they were talking some crap. After that, we were able to have a genuine convo. But just a heads up that even if people don't come in nog speaking Viet doesn't mean they don't know it! Any person of different race/ethnicity can still understand.

I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes, and not a single employee acknowledged my presence or attempted to assist me. However, they did all see me walk through the door. .Shortly after, two Caucasian women entered the salon and were immediately greeted. A man even came out from the back, walked directly past me without saying a word, and went straight to help them--even though I was standing in front of them and they arrived 10 minutes after I did. Please note, I am a Black American. At that point, I calmly asked him why I was being ignored as if I were invisible. He had no explanation. The way I was treated was deeply disrespectful and felt like racial discrimination. No customer should be made to feel overlooked or less important. Based on this experience, I will not be supporting this establishment and I will not recommend to others. I will also be contacting the BBB to share my experience.

I love that you have the ability to request a certain tech when you check in on the iPad. Ava did my nails tonight and I will absolutely be requesting her again!
