About a week ago I had a firearm shipped to your shop for transfer. Earlier today while I was working out in downtown Edmonds, I received a call from your store letting me know that my firearm had arrived and that I could come in anytime today to start the transfer process. Because I was excited to get the process going (10 day hold) and had been waiting for it to arrive, I actually stopped my workout immediately and drove over. It's about a 30-minute drive for me to get to your shop since I chose your store over others that are closer to me because your transfer pricing is better. However, when I arrived around 1:00 PM, the door was locked with a sign saying "At lunch, be back at 2 PM." What made this frustrating is that the call I received earlier was around 12:30 PM, and at no point during that call was it mentioned that the shop would be closed for an hour shortly after (I told them I'd see them soon today and and they told me "see you in a bit!"). If I had known that the store would be closed until 2:00 PM, I simply would have planned my trip differently or come later in the afternoon. Instead, I ended up driving 30 minutes only to sit in the parking lot for an hour (literally 58minutes) waiting for the store to reopen. Because of the distance, it doesn't make sense for me to drive back home and then return again. I completely understand that staff need lunch breaks, and that's not the issue. The frustration comes from being told I could come "anytime today" without being informed that the shop would actually be closed for a period of time shortly after the call. A simple mention during the call like, "You can come today, but we're stepping out for lunch from 1pm until 2 PM," would have avoided the entire situation and allowed me to plan accordingly. I chose to have the transfer done at your shop even though it's farther away because of the pricing, but in this case the extra time and inconvenience ended up outweighing the savings. I just wanted to share this feedback because better communication could prevent this kind of situation for future customers. I'll will say they are very friendly tho and the process was relatively easy.

(Who doesnt like being paid in cash?) He scolded me like a kid and told me not to make an offer if I couldn't buy it right then and there. I explained to him that it would take 20 minutes to get the cash and I would be right back, and he said OK, but he was completely rude from then on and didn't try to hide it. If I'm buying jewelry, I don't like buying from people like this guy. Its an investment and there should be trust, which is why its nice to build a good relationship with your seller. I got the cash and returned to the store -- looking for my earrings. But they were GONE! He had packed them up in a box to move somewhere, even though they don't close for another three hours, and even though he KNEW I was coming back for THOSE earrings. I had even specifically confirmed that he would give them to me for that price when I returned. Nope! Wouldn't even let me buy them. That was the only display box that he packed up. There's more. His wife is very nice, but as she showed me a necklace, he scolded me as if I were stealing. I said thanks and got the heck out. Bad vibes, bad customer service. Bottom line, I'm never coming back here. I buy jewelry from people I trust to be transparent, respectful, and who don't force a decision in 30 seconds or less. It's one thing if you're not really buying anything, but I was there to buy. If you're buying pawned jewelry, you need time to examine it, otherwise you'll probably end up spending too much on a synthetic gem. If you're looking for a wonderful, FRIENDLY jewelry pawn shop with equally high-end merchandise at better prices, run by a VERY nice family, go to Onix Jewelry instead. In fact, I went there after I left Aboud Jewelry and bought 18k gold studs with natural blue sapphire....for $100!!! Tony at Onix is always happy to negotiate. Also, it's 2 minutes away from Aboud Jewelry. Spend your money there and get more value and nicer service.

I think they put it back together wrong - it wouldn't keep going for more than a day, the tune on the chimes was misaligned, and even rang 12 times every 8 o'clock! I wasn't able to deal with it until years later I brought it to the Country Clock Shop in Everette and Jody put it back together - now it's been running for a month and seems okay. I highly recommend the Country Clock Shop for friendly, efficient and competent work - they really know antique clocks!

Karen, also fondly known as "Cuckoo Karen," has a back room that looks like a scientist's or genius's laboratory. Jody repairs wall clocks and watches and also has a reputation for fixing lamps! Their communication after customers drop off clocks are awesome, and they welcome post service calls if there is still a problem.

Which they ( Tammy ) were very helpful in explaining the process on the phone. I came in to do my state mandated paperwork once the firearm arrived, had a great conversation again with Tammy, a couple of friendly customers and even got to pet the shop cat as well. He's cool. Anyways 9 days pass and I get a call, back ground is clear so I go in to receive my purchase. Got to talking with both Tammy & Jason were both clearly quite knowledgeable and eager to resolve some questions and bounce some ideas off of for the next 30-40 minutes. To this point every interaction has been pleasant and boils down to this... Personalized attention from people who are vested in helping you on your journey is rare. Sure You could go talk to some folks at (insert large box store here) or a place that sells guns in addition to range time with over priced ammo but this little Ma' & Pa' joint has character and soul. They genuinely seem to give more damns here than just about making a buck or if it is time to clock out. Because of that I know it makes it worth a drive to Bothell to check them out!

Last night she accidentally text eight instead of nine for a closing time so I turned around and went back home for no reason. So today, on my way up, I get caught in the middle of a big accident that took me forever to get around. When I finally get up there and hour and 23 minutes later they can't just give me the ring I've already paid for? I am now demanding that they overnight ship to the hotel I'll be in tomorrow in California. Along with the other two rings.
