I recently purchased a gun here. As I was checking out the pistol, I noticed the slide stop wasn't holding the slide back with an empty mag inserted. I mentioned this to the guy behind the counter and he condescendingly told me that it is working while pulling the slide back, I looked over and saw he was manually actuating the slide stop. When I mentioned that to him, he got an attitude and attempted to gaslight me. What he didn't know is that I had a good idea as to what was wrong, so I bought the gun anyway. He had a nasty attitude the whole time until I gave him the money, then suddenly he learned how to be friendly. They also don't call you when your gun is ready to pick up, they just tell you the date, unlike every other pawn shop. He also got nasty when I tried to make a deal on the gun; it's a pawn shop, they make offers, why shouldn't the buyers make offers? Avoid this place at all costs, even if you know your guns, whatever they have isn't worth putting up with the b*tchy attitude. By the way, I fixed the gun. The mag spring was worn out. read more

Bought a Milwaukee 5.0 battery that appeared to work when you pressed the button to show the charge it lit up but all my charger flash when I tried to charge it. It is toast. They sold a broken battery would not honor any type of exchange even with the receipt. They said it was the employee who sold it to me fault because they didn't make sure it worked before selling it to me, this coming from the "store manager" I explained to him it would really be his fault as manager for having electronics/tools on the shelf for sale that no one has tested. Basically bad business no checks and balances obviously selling broken and stolen goods without a care to whether or not they work for the customer. They would rather keep the 40$ for the broken battery then own up to the fact that they fucked up and say good buy to all the future purchases I could have made so I would 100% go to any other pawn shop then this joke of place. read more

I frequently go to this place. Purchase expensive items weekly. Today, I came in to pick up another expensive item, everything went well and the gal at the. Counter was very nice. Went to the other side of the store to check out some other items and was greeted by another employee. He informed me that the man next to me was just looking, asked if I needed help. I said i had not had time to really check everything out but thank you. The employee then began raving about how everyone just comes to look and they should have a cover charge. I told him I just picked up an item that i had purchased for $600+. He said "ya but you paid for that last week, you didnt buy anything today." Im not sure if this gentleman had a mental disability or something, but at that particular moment I felt very disrespected. I will probably take my biz elsewhere. Pawnshops that deal with methed out weirdos all day should be nice to their good customers that being them as much as business as I do. read more

The coolest person in this place is the lady that is a part of the family hands down. Came here to make a purchase guy behind the counter had different thoughts going against the grain of the lady who have already stated our business about short barrel rifle and it being a pistol. We ended up having to come back to this place over 20 miles after the confirmation was put in that it was OK for us to make my pick up. Just make sure you don't mess with the guy who acts like he has a problem selling firearms being sold to people of color. Bought a dewalt cordless circular saw at almost closing on Saturday. Went to install new blade, and noticed that it was missing some parts that hold the blade in place. Came back on Sunday only to get treated rudely and said you Bought it that way. It's my fault. No returns...?? I told him I was relying on them to sell me a complete tool? He said "you tested it" I said. Without a blade? Didn't ask to exchange, or even offer to see if he had the parts. When I asked, they said you can look through the pile they had. The guy who sold me to tool came to help? No... was digging for his own projects? Nowhere on the receipt does it say no returns, didn't say as is on the tool?? When I was a kid I would frequent Pawn Fathers for used cd's and dvds and window shop the rows of Rolex watches and other "treasures" that people would pawn. Now it's Wii games, tools and stereo equipment and whatever else catches my eye. They have good prices, and if you're willing to haggle a little like I did, you might get what you want for a little less. read more

Most disrespectful pawn shop I've ever been to. Very surprised it even has close to two stars, id give it a 1/16 of a star if it we're an option because of how low their offers are for buying. Especially the (now) pregnant lady with blonde hair. I'm in a tough spot due to COVID. I had basically brand new tools I got fo $440 combined. Milwaukee Brand gun ($229) Ryobi combo pack ($199)-They gave me $50 and $40 for both. 90 F!?king dollars!!!! Phone bill had to get paid, offer up is filled with stolen tools, and I bought with them with a credit card originally. No cash back. Hardest thing I've ever had to do in some time. I've been going to Pawn Fathers since back when they had the Lynnwood and South Everett location (no longer around). I've used them for a large majority of my FFL transfers and firearm loans/trades. Since the early 2000's it's changed ownership (I think) and obviously management, which comes and goes like any business. The folks running the Everett location have been there for years now and have always been friendly and kind. It may be because I give them the same in return, who knows. This is a Pawn Shop. This isn't "Pawn Stars" where your 5k guitar is worth 4k and then they try and match that. They are a business that constantly has wanna be con artists and hustlers try to pass off crap as gold all day. I feel most people should keep that in mind if they receive a rude tone or a hard bargain price. Pawn Fathers has always made me feel like family even when they've hit me with a lower than expected number. Never felt like they were trying to rob me or steal from me, they're doing their job. They're a pawn shop you guys (which I can't emphasize enough) and for a pawn shop they're the best in the area! Hands down. Tons of things to choose from: tools, dvd's, video games, consoles, jewelry, musical instruments and equipment and my personal favorite a great selection of firearms and firearm accessories. I used to be a customer at this store, i enjoyed the staff that USED to be there. I spent a lot of time and a lot of money at this location until I met the owner. She is greedy and rude and had the gall to ask a employee if I even spend money. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I regret spending all the money I did here. Never been so insulted. Update this location was involved in a ATF investigation due to their shady tactics, they were shut down and re opened. I'm only writing a review for their DVD collection! OMG!! They have 10,000+ DVDs on sale here!! At $2.50 a DVD, how can anyone stay away. I came in search for Anchorman and Office Space. I found the only copy of Anchorman, but failed for the other. Here, you will find a combination of new releases and older ones. After you sift through all the Matrix and Harry Potter movies, you will probably find what you're looking for. Just block out two hours to find it because everything is practically thrown on the shelves. There are DVDs everywhere!!! I wouldn't be surprised if I found a DVD under the chainsaws and furniture. Besides that, there customer service sucks. They watch movies while they work. I must admit, I don't get uncomfortable easily but they were watching movies on full blast with scenes that sounded very porn-like. Definitely not appropriate, but I can understand why. read more

Tried to get a firearm transferred from Everett to Wenatchee where they have another store... I was first told they could do that no problem..then I was told I had to put 50% down before I would get to see it. After I had the 50% for it I was told I would have to pay in full first...After viewing the firearm it was sent over filthy and I was told how pissed off I made the owner by multiple employees. I tried to bring it up with the manager Cortney William's and was told if I wanted to see it in person that bad I could have driven to Everett to see it....yet they move inventory from store to store frequently and I however never drive the 3 hours to Everett ever...I asked to cancel the layaway and was told I would forfeit my 50% down which is a large amount....decieving and rude. read more

Purchased a new gun. Picked it up 2 weeks later after background check was complete. The guys working that day were rude and treated me as if I was a distraction. Brought the gun home and was excited to get it out and start looking at it and reading the literature. Gun had deep scratches all over one side and the front and back of the gun were scuffed up too. Also had some sticky food all over one of the magazines. Somebody had obviously been playing with it or using it. I immediately called them, no more then 5 minutes after picking it up and they told me they were not willing to do anything tk correct the mishap or whatever it should be called. Never buy a gun from a pawn shop. Go to a real gun store. Lesson learned. read more

And both guys at the other register were quick to help with paperwork and pretty funny personable people. I was hesitant after reading other reviews. Was pleasantly surprised when i arrived. I purchased A Snap-On automotive charger from the Everett location I work 7 days a week and got off work early at 4pm on a Sunday their hours of operation is great because I had to drive 1 1/2 hours from where I live. I found an auction on Facebook this charger they were selling. I really wanted needed this for projects. We tested the unit and it appeared to work but 2 of the functions didn't and we really needed a car battery to test it and we ran out of time due to closing. So I told them would they warranty it until I could get home and test it properly on some car battery's that I had so they gave me a 24hr return option in case it had a problem. Well I tested it late Sunday night and found that 2 of the charge functions didn't work properly. They honored the unit and they provided excellent service in resolving things. Staff is fun and quick to find resolution I give them a A+++++++++++++ good communication very knowledgeable. I love this pawn shop as a buyer. Thank you Pawn Fathers Everett. read more

Terrible business! Me and my boyfriend brought two different guitars in. One had a slight chip in the paint, and his guy was saying it was a crack in the whole guitar. I've brought it too several guitar shops and none of them have ever said it would be a problem. Also brought in a 300$ ( low end estimate for this guitar used ) Jackson. We asked for 150, might even have accepted less. The guy looked at it, and said "I don't want to offend you with my offer" without even looking it up. I believe this is the owner. He has been so rude to us every time we come in! Never go to this pawnshop. Horrible way to run a business. Maybe you'd be more successful if you treated people with respect!!!! read more

Wow, my girlfriend and I stopped by to see if they were interested in purchasing some of our jewelry. I was skeptical as my last purchase was a Mossberg shotgun that didn't work. Not only did they offer less than half of scrap but the owner became very rude and aggressive. We were in a very relaxed and happy mood but what a downer! He's a very troubled and unstable person. I have had great experiences here. I have purchased multiple firearms and other tools always at very fair or competitive prices. If your not sure make an offer they will work with you. The firearms selection s second to none and way better pricing then Cabelas. The selection is always growing. They even ordered items they didn't have in stock for me. Staff has always been friendly and knowledgable. They also stand by their products. I'm not sure where some of these other reviews are coming from, never had a similar experience. Every time i call to ask a question it seems they're too busy to talk to me and tell me to call back, and that's if they even answer the phone. Sometimes they simply do not answer. I've pawned things there several times, like 20 times, and am an easy customer for them to make money on. So i call today to find out if my 12 gauge loan is about to default and it's a super-simple question and i don't have a lot of time to make these calls during my work day. All they have to do is look it up and tell me and i'll come in later and pay to get it out. Or not! But i need to know right?? So the guy tells me they have lots of customers in there right now and i need to call back later so they can help THEM. And not help me? I don't want to call back later to find out the answer to a question that takes them 30 seconds to find out. It's the same every time, they're always too busy to help you or give you the time of day and half the time they treat you like you're the typical meth head that comes in and pawns their grandma's stolen wedding ring. Wow man you work at a pawn shop and you have the power to treat ppl however you want to treat them. Then he hangs up the fricking phone before even waiting for a response. How utterly disrespectful and rude can you get? Apparently as rude as they are. As soon as i get my gun back i'm never going there again. I can't recommend them unless you're desperate which some of us find ourselves being from time to time.
