Sleazy pawn shop. I would never bring anything here to pawn or sell, definitely wouldn't give them my money and buy anything. They will give you compete garbage offers. Came here with a brand new Electric Unicycle a few years back, rode it twice. I wanted a loan, paid $1,500 for it new and they offered me $150 loan... REALLY? On a $1,500 item that you could easily sell for a grand? Not to mention I wanted a loan because I was obviously coming back for it. Complete crap offers from these sleaze balls. Would give less stars if possible. These clowns accepted stolen merchandise, then tried to convince me to buy it back at full price. MY PROPERTY. Fuck that. Everett PD came through, but it took nearly 2 years to get it back. When I finally got it back, the stone had been replaced. I'm not even sure it's even a diamond. Bought a small solid state Peavey guitar amp since my tube amp is too loud for my apartment(been playing for 10+ years) - I share this info to give some context as to whether or not I have the knowledge to judge whether or not the amp is truly damaged. I'll admit I didn't do my due diligence to test it myself before leaving the store , it was a smaller purchase and I've always had a good experience with peavey amps - I unfortunately put my trust in the staff to sell me a legitimate working item. After taking it home I unfortunately found the input was broken and not getting full connection. It was also very difficult to plug into. After calling the staff and sharing what I had learned, I was offered nothing. No deal, no store credit - Just a , we tested it and it made noises. My husband and I ventured into the Cash America Pawn shop. It was fairly busy, we found our item and stood in line. We could not help but notice the manager, I was told her name is SAM, was speaking so belligerent to an employee, we were shocked. The poor employee was embarrassed. It did not end there, this SAM was very rude and unprofessional to a customer asking a question. This self entitled SAM needs to be retrained on how to handle employees as well as customers. Bought a switch from here for a really good deal! Looked near and far and they easily had the best deal over greedy private sellers believe it or not! Renae the manager even threw in a game. Jj tried to help But I think he made a mistake in turning down a bunch of good gear I have a home studio and was cleaning out some old year but still high-end gear I brought a Mac G5 that he didn't want to say have no keyboard or monitor which they have plenty of inside I brought up perfect condition hard case in shock mount Audio Technica 4040 in brand new condition he said he doesn't sell a lot of microphones. I brought in like new condition tascam 1614 USB interface he said he doesn't have people paying for this high in gear and he has only people setting up home studios which is exactly what I have in this is the stuff I'm trying to get rid of out of my home studio and then I had a Korg Triton studio which is still selling on eBay sold prices are at 1000 all I wanted was a $300 loan and I was going to pick it back up but he wouldn't take it because I had a broken key on it all I wanted was $500 for all this stuff and he basically treated me like I had garbage. I went in just now to pawn my DS lite and games till i get paid so I could get cough medicine. So this incredibly rude manager named Renee looked at my ds lite for half of one second saw some electrical tape i put on it for decoration and said no, "because its broken." I then tried to explain to her why the said tape was on there and she became incredibly inpatient and said she had already made up her mind. Worst costumer service experience i have ever had. mainly because her job is not that hard and there is no reason what so ever for her to act like that. Renee your job is really not hard and you are crabby, try being a Sawyer at a major company or a planner and then maybe you have the right to occasionally get frustrated at people but your not. Customers are your bread and butter start acting like it. My family and i have done quite a bit of business with this pawn shop over the years. I pawned my high end guitar here and when I came to pick it up the lady said good news your guitar is all right but the case has been damaged. She then told me a b.s. story about a rodent problem and that there were a few guitars damaged worse than mine. There were no teeth marks and the stitching was not harmed. It just looked like the skin of the case was shaved off from being mishandled. I was offered a lower end case that had no lock on it which I didn't accept. I need to be able to secure the guitar. I asked what policy was knowing I read something about my property being insured on the website. She said they are suppose to make a deal or fix the issue. She then said take it or leave it. So I left feeling like I just paid them to damage my case and thinking there were others who were gonna be just as mad when they pick up their guitars. The manager (jose i believe) Hid in the back and never showed his face. No discount on the loan just take it or leave it. 09-10-2018-First off let me start by saying I don't usually write bad reviews for businesses, but this one just rubbed me the wrong way. I have been a long time customer of this business, I am in their system as a customer who has a high rating (meaning I usually pick up what I pawn, and there is never any funny business. I am assuming this store is under new management and if so let me say they are the worst employees I have ever seen in a business. When I went before there was an entire different crew, who was friendly and most important knowledgeable of the products they sell. Now I took in an Xbox 1 Killer instinct Madcatz TE2 Fightstick. Now note the fact that it says killer instinct on doesn't mean that it only works with this game. I had to explain this to the very ignorant and very unpleasant Store Shift Lead. I don't remember her name but she is a person I don't feel anybody would want to remember. To continue about this insane situation, instead of just excepting she was wrong and rude she continued in a futile effort to prove that she was right. When I even looked it up for her in my phone to show the details of the controller. She kept arguing that it was console. I'm still holding my head trying to make sense of her. When I tried to show her the product on my phone since she couldn't find it herself on google of all places, she refused to look at the google article on my cell phone. Stating that is has to show up on their computer. I didn't know the internet was different on cell phones and computers lol. So not only did she continue embarrassing herself making a scene in front of customers and her employees who were to afraid to speak up to her because they knew what the product was and it was something I traded in before. Now to top it off she lied about knowing anything about the product to save face I guess, by saying they had one there and they sat on it for over a year. I could hardly contain my laughter because I bought this in North Carolina they were made in Limited quantity and the one she miss described was one that I traded in a long time ago and already picked up \ before she even started working in this store. This woman should not be working in a leadership role in this business. Especially when you sell video game systems and don't know what A CONTROLLER is. There are better pawn shops with better people on Everett Mall Way, that actually know their products and know how to properly use google. read more
