Says they're open on Sunday. Just drove 30 minutes to find that the place is closed today.

My dream watch became a reality thanks to Lisha at Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler. Lisha is not only…read moresuperlatively passionate and knowledgeable about luxury watches, but she genuinely cares about her customers; to her, it is not just about the transaction, but about having an authentic connection with the customer and their story. Along my journey, I had visited a few other ADs, but none of the visits felt real or, dare I say, 'fun.' It was not until my visit to Alvin Goldfarb (almost by luck on my wife's suggestion!) and meeting Lisha that I became aware of how the experience *should* be. The store was beautiful and inviting. It was so easy for her to create a relaxed and familiar environment and to connect over the watches I am interested in, and it quickly just became fun to both get genuinely excited about the whole experience; it was like working with an old friend. It was during one of these visits that Lisha decided to surprise me with my dream watch. Let me tell you that as fateful as the first time I visited, this special visit almost did not happen. I had decided last minute to squeeze in a visit on a hot (for Seattle, 80+ deg) summer day after a hectic day of work. For several reasons, it probably would have been "better" to visit on some other day, but boy, oh boy, am I glad I did not listen to my left brain that day and instead went with my gut and reminded myself of how great of a time it would be to enjoy and talk watches with Lisha. We were mid-conversation, with an exhibition GMT Master II on my wrist, talking about watch news, watches as gifts, upcoming travel plans, family life, some current events when out of nowhere a gentleman in a grey suit walks up with a tray in hand, with a watch on the tray, handing it to Lisha. Things started to get blurry at this point, but here's what I remember: Lisha handing me the tray and saying 'That's your watch. I wanted to make sure you had it for your trip,' me (hopefully) able to say some words of astonishment and gratitude (I was stunned, in shock really), me having a hard time doing simple things I have done countless times (like writing my phone number and signing my signature), me not being able to stop glancing at my new wrist companion and feeling its heft on my wrist as our time together began. I also remember repeatedly thanking Lisha and everyone at the store ad nauseam, then sort of floating out of the store with my dream watch on my wrist. Days later, I am still on cloud 9 and incredibly thankful and stoked about the entire experience. Thank you again for the Nth time, Lisha :) I am looking forward to future visits to come, and I cannot more highly recommend working with you and Alvin Goldfarb. More power!

Karma does exist in the world my fellow Yelpers. I'll share why in a moment so hang on cause my…read morepersonal experience is real and disturbing. FRANKS experience should give warning & share the ugliness to customers about to frequent this store. Maybe my story will serve as a reminder to reconsider purchasing here. At the time or beginning of my story Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler who was an Authorized Dealer for ROLEX in the Pacific Northwest. After doing some research I started frequenting the store looking for a few Rolex watches. Yes , I was very specific in my choices but always given the " NO " you can't have one for over 2 years. I came in every 4 to 6 weeks just to check and " NO" was the mantra of the sales staff. I was always told we have other watches for sale. Like who cares what ya have if ya can't provide what I desire. Now one amazing summer day I saw the $6400 41mm Celebration dial by Rolex in the case. My excitement level increased and I ask if it's for sale? The mantra is now uttered "NO NO NO" ! However something new that day happened and was shared by sales representative, I was actually told if you spend a $1,000,000 in jewelry it should be no issue to get that watch..... Now I was stunned by this statement so much I said are you serious and the person said YES! Well, that seems excessive and ridiculous and no I didn't drop a million to acquire the timepiece. I'll never forgot the arrogance of staff member of Alvin Goldfarb Jewelry and defiantly will not purchase anything from them. OK, now this is the happy ending of the story. I did manage to acquire The Celebration dial by Rolex elsewhere so I have that going for me. And on January 1st 2025 the BIG HAND OF THE CROWN aka ROLEX laid the smack down on ALVIN GOLDFARB & pulled authorized dealership away from store. No longer can they sell ROLEX.... KARMA saw the bad business practices by using Rolex watches to lure you into buying unwanted jewelry or non Rolex branded watches you don't want in order to maybe purchase a Rolex. Well, this is my story my truth & my journey, can you dig it!

I recently got engaged (YAY!) and my fiancee bought my engagement ring at Marci Jewelry. I was…read moreinvolved in the process from the beginning and am so happy with our experience with this lovely, local business. Jonathan was such a pleasure to work with - I was looking for a diamond with strong hearts and arrows and very specific specs and he sourced the perfect diamond for me! I felt that he listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. He offered his expert opinion but also ensured that my vision was coming through in the end. I even had a moment of cold feet and wanted to make changes and he was super accommodating through that process, even though I ended up changing my mind and keeping the ring as is. My only regret is not coming to Marci Jewelry sooner! I'm so happy with my ring and am looking forward to coming back and getting our wedding bands here as well :)

BEWARE: DO NOT SELL ITEMS TO THIS STORE!! They engage in self-serving business practices, are…read moredishonest, misrepresent information, and do not stand by their commitments. On 6/20/25, my daughter and I visited Marci Jewelry with a diamond ring we wanted to sell. We were introduced to their "diamond expert" Jonathan Borghes. He examined the ring (including the estimated size of the center stone and the white gold mounting with several smaller accent diamonds as well as other details regarding the large stone). He offered to pay $5000 ($500 for the mounting & $4500 for the center stone) in the form of a check written immediately. Jonathan went on to tell us he strongly believed he could get more than $4500 by selling the stone to his contacts if we left the stone with him. Of course, we wanted as much money as possible so this seemed like a good approach. During the conversation, we asked multiple times "if it took too long for him to find a buyer, could we request he send a check for the original offer" of $4500?" He assured us each time "oh yes, just call and he would send the $4500 original offer check". Based on Jonathan's confident reassurances and the store's longtime stellar reputation including online reviews, we decided to leave the stone and take the $500 check for the mounting since he had disassembled the ring. He asked me to sign a form he said was simply "my proof/receipt that the stone was left with him". Over the next few weeks, I contacted Jonathan multiple times for an update and each time was told "I need to make a few more calls, just need a little more time". On 7/22/25, I spoke with Jonathan again to ask he send the $4500 original offer check. This is when the situation became a problem and the poor business practices, dishonesty and misrepresentation surfaced. He refused to send a check, now saying the form he had me sign was actually something completely different what he claimed was simply "proof/receipt that we left the stone with him". He now called it a consignment agreement and stated that he wouldn't stand by his original offer of $4500. That in fact he would not pay out anything until he found a buyer. When I recounted our 6/20/25 discussion, he abruptly said he need to speak with store owner and would call me back. Not having gotten a return call, on 7/23/25, my daughter visited the store to get the check in person since I live out of state. Now Jonathan was refusing to acknowledge his agreements from our 6/20/25 conversation, calling it "all a miscommunication". The store owner refused to hold Jonathan accountable to his original offer. We took the stone and will pursue other avenues to sell it. Jonathan blatantly lied and the store owner refused to hold him accountable. We believe Jonathan intentionally misled us during the initial conversation, presented the enticing recommendation of getting even more than his offer of $4500 and then set me up by misrepresenting the nature of the form he had me sign knowing he would have "an out" and wouldn't have to follow through with his original offer. Rather than hold Jonathan accountable to his original agreement, the store owner chose to back his actions, a very poor example of leadership and customer relations.
