A guy just returned four - two in each hand - and the guy with him returned another two. They are schmoozing it up with the chef, the only chef, and you'd think these two have a key to the city. The place isn't busy but it takes 20 minutes to get our food. We travel between Waco and Oklahoma City quite often and this is the 2nd time in a month we've stopped here for a late dinner. The first time, they were out of everything and it took about 30 minutes that night to get our food. They were quick to offer up an explanation that someone no showed their shift and they've been swamped all day. The restaurant was a mess, trass cans overflowing, etc. Tonight, it's not much different. They are out of tea until the truck gets here tomorrow. Should restaurants really be running out of tea?? Or do they not want to make it fresh close to closing time? We thought closing time was 10pm (per Yelp) but they keep turning away people walking in the door. In addition, as mentioned in other reviews, they forgot our chips and queso all together. All in all, avoid this location. I've been to others and really enjoy the food and vibe. This place sucks! This is a location I have stopped at numerous times traveling through north Texas and frequently enjoy Fuzzys all over the country. Yesterday's visit has to be the worst experience I can remember. Stopped at about 5pm and there is only one other family of three seated. That should have been red flag one. Furthermore, with such few customers, I would expect a two person order to be prepared within 20 minutes. Have to wonder what the two employees were doing with their time. I can affirm they were not cleaning the lobby or keeping silverware and other self serve items stocked. No less than five tables I saw were filthy and covered with food crumbs. Again, this might be expected if busy. When our order was finally ready, I had to request utensils from the cook because the guy that took my order was nowhere to be found for help. At this point, I am ready to eat and get back on the road. My wife and I both ordered options we have enjoyed before. It was a complete waste of money because the food looked and tasted sloppily put together and after such a long wait, this was terribly disappointing. We might as well have stopped at any value fake Mexican food joint and paid a third of the price. Horrific service, filthy lobby, and less than mediocre food. This is by far the worst Fuzzy's in their chain!! Went there on a Sunday afternoon and placed a simple order - beef quesadillas, grilled shrimp tacos on soft corn tortilla. After waiting 35 minutes for the order, I got my order...the quesadillas were wrong, I ordered ground beef but got shredded beef instead. The bottom of the quesadilla was soggy and inedible. The shrimp tacos were alright but they were on soft flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. At least these were edible. I didn't complain because I was short on time, I really couldn't afford to wait another 35 minutes for them to make another quesadilla. It took them 25 minutes to have our food ready, and our enchiladas sat on the counter for 15 minutes, so they were stone cold when the rest of our food came up. I told them the enchiladas were cold, so they stuck them in the microwave. Should have made new, hot ones. They had two of our orders completely wrong out of four. So I had to wait even longer for them to serve what we ordered. Every table in the place was dirty - even the ones they had just wiped. Our table had a nice puddle of liquid under it. There were ketchup packets dropped in with the lemon wedges for tea and tea filled the silverware trays. They were out of shrimp and fish. "We're always really busy on Sunday nights," said the cashier. OK. If you're always busy on Sunday nights, why not have extra staff on hand to handle the load? This location is always consistent in their quality and service. The shredded beef tacos are great, as well as the veggie salads, I haven't had anything I didn't like here. I am a bit disappointed that they did away with their weekly specials. We really enjoyed going on taco Tuesdays for some breakfast tacos and Beer. Update: went in for dinner on Thursday, waited 20 min for four breakfast tacos, the eggs were blackened, the potatoes were hard and undercooked. One taco didn't even have any egg on it. We have had fuzzy's multiple times at other locations and it's great! The food at the other locations is delicious, but this fuzzy's was so dirty, I still can't believe I actually ate any of the food that I ordered. First, the floors were filthy. Next, there was not a single table clean in the establishment but yet there was at least open seating for 20 people. It was a little busy, but not very. Our food wasn't as slow as some of the other reviews I have read, but in the 30 minutes we were there not a single employee cleaned a table. I was mortified by the lack of responsibility and pride in their own establishment. I will not eat here at this location again and I suggest you steer clear of this place as well. My wife and I have driven by so many times. We have been wanting to stop and eat here in Sanger. We gave it a shot. It's Fuzzy's, right?! No. Not at all. The food took 45 minutes to get to us. We had to beg for chips and queso - very stale chips! Food was cold and tortillas were straight out of the bag and cold. Food sucks. This not Mexican/TexMex nor food! Don't do it! How is still ooen?? Very different from the Fuzzys I am accustomed to in Oklahoma City. This place had bad guac. Plain and simple. How can someone mess up guac? I don't know, but their guac tasted horrible. Pretty sure the avocados used were old and the onion and tomatoes were not cut to small sizes. I got two tacos. The fish in the fish tacos was not cooked properly and didn't taste good. Urg. I have been to this fuzzys before, but I took my wife there at 5:30pm after work. Its a family restaurant, but they had at least 5 big screen tvs with cage boxing playing on all of them. This is by far the worst location of any Fuzzy's I have tried. (Please read whole review). They get our order wrong almost every single time. But mostly- they are SO inconsistent. You never know what you're going to get. Maybe a good quesadilla with lots of cheese and filling. The next night that same order is two tortillas with a tiny bit of anything else. It comes across as being very stingy and cheap. Basically the same complaint others described such as warming up cold/old items in the microwave instead of remaking fresh items. We get most of our orders to-go and each time the dish is prepared differently. Sometimes things are garnished with cheese, then it's not. When they do serve soup it basically all broth because I guess they are too lazy and cheap to stir the pot before dipping the soup out. Common sense could change most of their problems but I have yet to come across an employee OR manager that seems to even have any common sense or take pride in their job or this company. read more

We frequent the Fuzzy's chain quite a bit and usually go to the Denton locations as we live there and have never had a problem. My boyfriend works in Sanger however and this was near his work on his drive home. First off, my bf was exhausted from work and just wanted to get our food and come home so I tried to phone in the order for pick up. Called twice and listened to it ring for a solid minute and a half each time with no answer. I thought maybe since it was Saturday they were just busy. My boyfriend shows up to place the order and says the place is almost dead. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Then he orders 2 chicken burritos and PAYS for each to have extra guacamole. Both burritos have less guac in them then they should've without paying for extra. What a joke. Will never return here, will stick to the couple extra minutes out of the way home to the Denton locations. You could learn a thing or two from them. read more

I typically like fuzzy's but this location is an absolute joke. I had a bad experience a few months back but they sent out coupons and I figured I would give it another try. The staff didn't seem to know about the new items they were offering and our order took close to 40 minutes to get (2 taco plates and a chips and queso.) The cashier actually offered us 2 free drinks because it was taking so long and there were customers walking out saying that our food could take another hour to get done. The restaurant was a mess and the cooks were rude when we finally did get our order. On top of all of that, our food was cold, the rice was bland, potatoes were under cooked, and we didn't even get the tacos we ordered. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, the food is subpar and the service definitely matches. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
