came here on a Wednesday night after work with a friend, and I'm so glad I did! My friend mentioned this is their original location (they have another one in McKinney). It's on the smaller side, but that just makes it feel incredibly cozy. We were greeted right away with fresh, homemade tortilla chips and salsa. Our waitress took a little bit of time to get to our table initially--but she was clearly juggling multiple tables, so it was completely understandable! Once we ordered, the food and drinks came out in a timely manner. I ordered a regular margarita, and it was huge--easily worth the $7! For dinner, I got the taco salad with carnitas, and it was absolutely delicious. Don't let the size fool you; it looks a bit small at first, but it is so filling. Overall, a fantastic experience with genuine, homemade food and a great full bar. I only wish I lived closer to this location! read more

We've been looking for a really good Mexican restaurant since moving to the area, and Dos Mezcalas definitely delivered. We ordered the queso fundido, and everything had great flavor. The margaritas were fantastic too, and they are definitely not shy with the tequila! What really stood out was the service. Our waitress knew the menu extremely well, made great recommendations, and took excellent care of us throughout the meal. The restaurant recently expanded and everything was very clean, including the restrooms, which were well maintained. Great food, great drinks, and excellent service all around. We were very satisfied and can already tell this will probably become one of our regular spots. read more

We just left Dos Mezcal's and it was delicious ! Mixed fajitas were so good. The meat was well seasoned and fresh. and the Tapatito was incredible. The bacon added an extra level of flavor. The service was great - just the right amount of attentiveness. It was our first time there but saw the "grand reopening" today and decided to try it. Good morning, everybody! I'm here in beautiful Aubrey, Texas, in North Texas--home of Dos Mezcal's I came across this great little Mexican restaurant right across from City Hall. The food is excellent and tastes just like homemade Mexican cooking, honestly some of the best I've had in North Texas. It reminds me of the small mom-and-pop restaurants back in San Antonio. So great to have a fun, new restaurant in Aubrey! And the food was amazing!! Started with some Top Shelf Margaritas and they were delicious! Chips and salsa were yummy with adorable salsa bowls. Our server recommended the stuffed avocado. I was intrigued so tried it and it did not disappoint. A bit rich between the avocado and the queso but loved the flavors. Hubby had the Southern Enchiladas with Chile Verde and said the spice was just right. Both meals came with rice and beans. We will be back!! read more

We went there Saturday the queso was bland. The salsa tasted like marinara sauce . I had the chicken enchiladas, the chicken was cold in the center like it had been frozen. The Spanish rice tasted like uncle Ben's, and the beans taste like it came from a can. I'm not sure what they actually make there because the food came out within a few minutes of ordering. my fiancé had a taco salad with chicken and steak and the taco bowl was stale, the chicken had very little flavor, the steak was Burt little pieces I had high hopes for this place and was extremely disappointed. Food is not fresh, it is from a can or the freezer. Service is friendly, little bit slow but their is only one waitress. Dinning room is HOT and Humied, so if you are trying to get out of the heat, or have breathing issues try a different place. I wish i could say great things about this place. 100/10 is what I would rate this place and their tacos!! The Aztecs tacos with Carne Asada, Pastor, Birria and carnitas with birria being the favorite is what we had. IT SMACKED MY TASTE BUDS TO ANOTHER LEVEL. I live 1 hour and 20 mins away and will be back. You better come here before an influencer finds this place! I'll tell you if the wait was an hour, easiest decision to stay. 2 hours, no problem. 3 hours I'm waiting and maybe seeing tulips while I wait. Such a great spot! The Hispanic atmosphere felt so authentic, the manager was super nice, and our waitress Ashley was very attentive. As a Latina myself who is very picky about salsas, this one had the best salsa I've ever had. The enchiladas were the best I've had in a long time as well as the cucumber margarita and mangonarita. Even the people at the next table was curious what drinks we were enjoying and ordered the same ones we had. My in laws had me pick a restaurant after church and although it was an hour drive from them, they said it was very worth it and were glad they came and want to come again. read more

Called to confirm door dash pick up order and was left on a lengthy hold to be told they couldn't find the order. Horrible customer service! Then received a text that they see we canceled our order from the restaurant. Which makes no sense! Never ordering from here again.
