The atmosphere is cozy as it seems to be a family run restaurant. They might still be getting their bearings so be patient with them. The Asada Nachos was too saucy but I liked the chips. The Shrimp Diablo wasn't spicy enough, but they brought out spicy salsas so that helped. The chef came out and talked to us asking if we needed anything else. The chef and her daughter were super sweet.

Down-Home Favorite for Authentic Mexican Domingo is our go-to spot when we're craving authentic Mexican comfort food. Everything is made to order, from the crispy, fresh chips to the hearty, flavorful dishes. My personal favorites: the chicken soup (soul-soothing every time) and the seafood mix--packed with flavor. What keeps us coming back? The bright, friendly hospitality that never misses. Always a pleasure!

Great Home-Made Mexican food! The flavors of every dish, tacos and desserts are the same than Mexico Order for sharing with 4 people: - Elote or Queso with Chorizo as appetizer - Tacos de Carnitas with grilled onions - Camarones Gobernador - Tacos de Birria - soak them in the soup/caldo - Flan or Churros or Pastel 3 Leches (very sweet) You're welcome !

UPDATE 1/15/26: I took the opportunity to try their food again, and I am so glad I did! I had Three Chicken Tacos and Arroz con Huevo. The tacos were delicious. I do wish that I had the option of flour tortillas, but they were still good. The salsas tasted freshly made. It was my first time having Arroz con Huevo, and it is now a new favorite of mine! The egg was perfectly cooked and the rice perfectly seasoned. Everything tasted home cooked! I could see and taste the fresh herbs in both dishes. I am glad I gave them another try and found menu items that I enjoyed. Domingo is a new favorite of mine. I can't wait to try out other menu items!

Good food. Fast service. Could use more ambiance. A little loud. Not an inviting store front.

And the food was fantastic and very good portions! + Quesabirria was amazing! Great flavor and full of meat and cheese + Menudo is also excellent. I just got the small and it was pretty decently sized. + Ceviche and octopus tostadas were also very nice. Probably like the ceviche better than the octopus though. + Street tacos were also very fresh and well filled. Probably our favorite taco place in this area!

Unfortunately both our meals were incredibly salty, and I say that as a salt lover. The salsa verde on my chicken and the chili con carne on his burrito were both too salty. The beans are a bit watered down as well. The menu is extensive here so I'm curious what the other meals are like- there definitely seems to be a fusion of two cuisines happening, which I actually very much appreciate. The staff is very kind! I'm all about customer service. As far as the setting, the music was a little too loud for me but it's a very causal vibe here and also plenty of tables and space, and lots of tv's. It was disappointing the draft beer wasn't working also. I might give this another try.

I first heard about this spot from a BBQ server in Lewisville (food people know food, so I trust…read more'em). It's a bit of a trek from where we live, but worth the journey--plus, fun fact: they're building DFW's second Bojangles in the same strip mall. (Exciting times, people.) We hit up lunch, which seemed like a great deal. I had a fajita craving, so mixed chicken and steak it was, while hubby, a true Tex-Mex traditionalist, went for a chile relleno. But let's pause for a moment--why is finding real-deal Tex-Mex in DFW such a struggle? (I have questions.) Our waiter, Able, was warm, welcoming, and on it with drinks and a glorious chip trio featuring: A warm black bean dip (our fave) A fresh green salsa A smoky red salsa And then... my fajitas arrived, SIZZLING like they were trying to set off the fire alarm. Huge portion, served with all the fixings--rice, beans, tortillas (not house-made, but miles better than grocery store versions), sour cream, pico, lettuce, and cheese. I barely made a dent in 1/3 of it. Leftovers = tomorrow's best meal, confirmed. Can't wait to return and tackle their $7.99 enchilada plate on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Marking my calendar now. Bathrooms were clean. I would say the booths need to be recovered as some were duck-taped, and they were a little low for this shortie!

Both were delicious. Curtido was a little too mild for my taste but complimented the pupusa and salsa well. Reasonably priced and filling, I brought home leftovers.
