The food is really good. We have tried alambre in Mexico city many years ago and liked it very much. Very few Mexican restaurants offer it in their menu. So when we came to this one and I saw it, I ordered it, and hoped for the best. This place did not disappoint. While the presentation was different from what i had in Mexico, the flavor was really good. Yehey ! It was a success. My husband had the Carne asada tacos. It was also good. Chips and salsa, also good. The Tres Leche cake was really good too. The young lady server that night was a sour pus. Hopefully she was just having a bad day that time. Delicious authentic Mexican food! Stumbled upon this place and will be making it part of our regular rotation when we eat out. The flautas with shredded beef were perfection. Topped with crema, lettuce and cotija cheese. No Tex Mex here! Just the real authentic flavors of my childhood being raised on the Mexican border. Chips and salsa aren't free but DO order them. The tortilla chips are homemade and delicious as well as the salsas. The birria queso had chunks of avocado too and that alone could make a delicious meal. The atmosphere is cozy as it seems to be a family run restaurant. They might still be getting their bearings so be patient with them. The Asada Nachos was too saucy but I liked the chips. Don't sleep on the quesabirria tacos! The Consommé was so flavorful and meaty. You will not be disappointed. To say they were so good is the understatement of the century. I have thought of them almost everyday since having them a few days ago. I went in and ordered my food to go and the staff was very accommodating, asking if I wanted some water while I waited. I want to add that the music they play is so beautiful and made the wait all that much more enjoyable. UPDATE 1/15/26: I took the opportunity to try their food again, and I am so glad I did! I had Three Chicken Tacos and Arroz con Huevo. The tacos were delicious. I do wish that I had the option of flour tortillas, but they were still good. The salsas tasted freshly made. It was my first time having Arroz con Huevo, and it is now a new favorite of mine! The egg was perfectly cooked and the rice perfectly seasoned. Everything tasted home cooked! I could see and taste the fresh herbs in both dishes. Domingo has kind staff but seriously disappointing food. The queso was flavorless slop, the chips were greasy, and they charge $7 for mediocre salsa, bean dip, and a cheese-like substance that tasted like nothing. Our whole group left equally unimpressed. Bland entrees, no seasoning, and not a single dish worth finishing. Based on this hidden location, in order to make it, the food has to be amazing. It was not. Nice people, but they need to send an SOS call to Gordon Ramsay ASAP. At this rate, they won't make it to Christmas. Hard pass. We were so impressed with the taste of the food. The bean sauce was unique thin savory sauce poured over the plate . The salad was crispy and fresh with oil dressing and shredded beef ., even sprinkled with salt and pepper. We all loved the unique nachos with a warm taste of cinnamon. Food was great! Awesome taste but seemed wayyyyy too expensive for what we got. $20 fajitas plate with only two tortillas. Maybe 5 small pieces of chicken breast. It looked more of a $10 plate. Small side of rice and guak. Just need to feel like we are getting more of what we paid for here guys. Same thing for the enchiladas. We took it to go so not sure what it looks like in restaurant but in my experience lots of restaurants place their portion in the confines of the containers which seemed like what was going on here. I wish I would've taken photos! The wife had al pastor tacos and I tried hers and have NEVER had Al pastor that was so tasty and tender. The pineapple was a great addition to it, the black beans was really good tasting. I had the asada quesadilla. Really delicious. Add a scoop of rice and that would send it over the top. The only thing I'd change would be to add a mild taco sauce! Otherwise you guys are a breath of fresh air to Little Elm. This place is truly a new little hidden gem in Little Elm! The food is truly homemade band the portions are perfect. I ordered the Pork Torta sandwich and my wife had the chicken fajitas. My oldest daughter had the quesadillas and liked them. My wife rated her fajitas along with the (not free) chips and salsa a 8.7/10. Service is good and the kitchen staff came out to see how we liked the food. Just a really down home feel. The food at Domingo is hands-down the best authentic Mexican food in the area! We had asada tacos and fish tacos, both had rich flavors that we haven't experienced before. The owner, Antonio, came out to see how our experience was and explained that he wants to bring flavors of Mexico City here, and he did not disappoint. This hidden gem is behind the gas station of Eldorado and Lobo in Little Elm. Their food was exceptionally delicious, just like my grandmother's cooking, so authentic. After going to the Little Elm Beach , my daughter wanted to pick out dinner. She said she wanted to eat at a Mexican place. I looked on yelp and this had high ratings . It's a shame that the main entrance passes through what is a nasty back of house area for other stores. I say this because it takes away from this unassuming place. The chile relleno was excellent.
