Service only improved after my husband left over a 20%. Otherwise the counter girl didn't seem very interested or happy to be there. My husbands drink was made incorrectly and he received some kick back when he brought that up to the bartender. We've been to several fuzzys in several states and the beer rita has never been made like this so I don't know why the bartender claimed it was how it is in the recipe book. My breakfast tacos were supposed to have (according to the menu both in store and online) eggs, pico, chorizo, bacon, cheese and garlic aïoli . They showed up a greasy tortilla filled with just meat and cheese. I had to go back up to the counter and request my other ingredients and literally just made my own tacos at the table. My husband's quesadilla was literally dripping liquid to the point that he squeezed out what he could, wrapped it in napkins and said he'd just "fix it when we got home". We ended up walking across the parking lot and dining at Applebees where we received cheaper food and drinks and MUCH better service. No seasoning, no flavor, cilantro-like rice that neither tastes like cilantro nor lime, queso without flavor, the blandest tacos in the world. It was so bad we were laughing! My nine year old thought it was really good WHICH SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING because he only like VERY plain food. It was some of the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Ok, we have these home in Colorado but we stopped on a road trip. This one is so much nicer than what we have. Food was actually better than when we order to go at home. I have never wrote a negative yelp review before. The service was absolutely terrible. We went at 3:30PM while driving home from vacation. (We had waited this long as we wanted more food options in Hays). The food took 30 minutes for a few tacos, a quesadilla and nachos even though the restaurant was not busy at all. They gave us regular beans instead of retried beans as a side. They put pico on my chicken nachos after I explicitly asked for no pico. The tacos and nachos were soggy and cold. I genuinely think they just forgot about us. Mcdonald's would have been faster and higher quality food, not to mention 1/3rd of the price. read more

When you see the sign on the highway for Fuzzy's Taco Shop and you think to yourself oh that sounds like a fun place to go, do yourself a favor and KEEP DRIVING! I wish I had read the reviews before we went but my phone was acting up. We thought the name was funny so we took the exit..:and it was lit so brightly and the parking lot was packed so we figured it must be good. Everyone seemed to be having a great time inside..:but I think they had too many alcoholic slushees. I promise if you see any good reviews on here they had to have been drunk. We ordered a chicken salad, chicken nachos, a shrimp taco, and two kids nachos. None of it was good. Everyone said the cheese was tasteless. My salad was huge but mostly lettuce and the chicken was bland. I tried one of the kids churros and it tasted like nothing. The shrimp taco had hardly any shrimp in it and I've never had a nasty flour tortilla until now. The last time I ate stuff and didn't taste anything I had Covid, but I know that's not the reason now because I could taste my drink. I walked into this place after a long day on the road and what an atmosphere! Great employees welcoming me in and guiding me through the food and drink menu. I ordered a bowl and it was delicious. We are passing through from Texas and stopped to eat here. First off, this is the coolest decorated fuzzy's we've ever been to! We have them In Texas all around and none have been this nice.
