I was in Conroe today and really wanted some Chinese food, I've been to this restaurant once before, so I thought well let me give it another try. I ordered from the lunch menu on a Saturday, idk many places that have weekend lunch deals. I ordered General Tso Chicken and Hunan Triple Delight both of them with Wonton soup, and they both came with egg rolls which included a sweet and sour dip. This place was soooooo good!!!! Everything was made to order and had a great flavor to it. The prices are fantastic!!! I will definitely be stopping in more often when I'm in Conroe. read more

the food is really yummy but there is one thing that needs to addressed... general tso chicken... it is delicious but there are those hot peppers that are hard not soft like a bell pepper... they should be left uncut not cut up into half inch little pieces... very hard to find them and pick them out... Food is good, plentiful and reasonably priced. It is a great Asian fusion resturant. Hubs got green curry chicken and I got the salt and pepper shrimp (jumbo shrimp). Both were delicious and we each had to get to go boxes. Hubs got a peach blossom tea amd I got thai tea with boba. Very good and nice size compared to other tea shops. I'm not quite sure what to make of this place just yet. Came here a few weeks ago for the first time & got the General TSO Chicken which is generally my favorite at most Chinese restaurants. Got it & I was incredibly impressed. It was about the best General Tso Chicken I've had in my LIFE. It tasted like a gourmet dish as opposed to the typical hole in the wall Chinese joints I've been to. It had a really nice kick to it which I love, balanced flavors with nicely complementing sweetness. Even the broccoli good and perfectly steamed! Definitely a 5-star worthy dish. So why the uncertainty, right? Well, came back here this past Thursday for another meal. Was going to get the General Tso Chicken again since I love it so much but after my wife clowned me for "never trying anything different", I decided to try the Honey Walnut Chicken as it sounded good. The menu said it has mayonnaise but I'm thinking, maybe it's a small amount that's barely noticeable to complement the flavor. Wrong! It was main ingredient of the marinade which was overpowering. The first bite wasn't that bad but it didn't take long to go from "ok" to just nasty. Imagine taking a small amount of your favorite savory dish & dropping a dallop mayo in it. That's how it tasted. Very different experience from the General Tso Chicken. I'll prolly return but I'll either get the Tso Chicken again or something else. read more

A coworker recommended this restaurant to me and we knew it had to be good (she is from Hong Kong and knows good Chinese food ) so I took the family out tonight. It's a small restaurant in a small strip of stores and has been open since September 29. They have an extensive menu and there are more items on the counter (do not pass on the tea and the Bobas). Full disclosure, I had no idea what Bobas were, so the woman let me try some. So good and so much fun!! I asked my friend what I should get while we were looking at the menu. She directed me to the Mongolian Beef. I made it extra spicy. It came with white or fried rice. I opted for fried. The serving was large and oh so delicious. The egg roll was also very good! My wife ordered the Pad Thai and loved it. My first son got the Orange Chicken with fried rice and the second got a noodle dish with shrimp. They both loved their meals as well. The ladies behind the counter were super nice and attentive. Not too many seats, but the place is clean and worth the money. Don't pass this place up if in the Conroe area! Also, look at the back of the menu for coupons. We got a couple egg rolls free. read more

When I first came here to service was sub optimal. I was treated my presence was a burden. So as I usually do, I assume the workers are having a bad day, maybe if I offer a tip over 25%, that would brighten their day. I also asked if onions could be left out of my fried rice as my wife is allergic. So I waited as other meals were beating served before me not letting it bother me. I finally get my meals by another lady who seemed like my presence was unwanted. No worries. Hopefully the food is good. Alas, I get home and the onions that my wife is very allergic to was present. I drove over just before they closed to return the meal and hopefully get my meals a different lady took it, apologized, and made me a new plate without onions. I've eaten here before and the service and food has always been a treat. But after my treatment tonight as if my money and concerns were not good enough, I can find a better place. We have been here many many times (average 2-3 times a week for the past several weeks since arriving in Texas, and yes, it IS That Good!!!). The General Tsos is amazing! My wife loves the Veggie LoMein, and I have enjoyed Hunan chicken, Sczechuan chicken and sesame chicken. We have ordered all of these several times. Just amazing! The fried rice is great too!! If you order something extra spicy, it'll damn near melt your face off... so just order your food regular and it'll be just fine. Great service, always delivering hot food, quickly, with a smile. Excellent! Ordered takeout last weekend and I have been craving more ever since. I love that the dishes marked as spicy are truly spicy! I have the hot and sour wonton soup and it was perfectly on point. My husband had the kung pao and he was full in sweating by the end. My one year old daughter had the pan fried dumplings and was very pleased with them. I love that you can choose noodles or rice to accompany your meal and they have a good selection of noodle dishes (which is rare around Conroe). First time in and plan to return. Clean, friendly space. We had the lunch specials. Kung Pao beef, fried rice, egg roll and wonton soup. Husband had same sides with General Tso chicken. The food seems to be a lighter version than most Asian food we eat, which was nice. The rice and egg rolls had vegetables, but not meat in them. Soup had light but nice flavor broth. Honestly I saw it had good reviews and I went to try it today. 100% disappointed. and I'm going to say why, the food meat wise was dry and hard to eat, chickens soft and slimy, spicy food is about as spicy as pepper, the rice was plain I'm sure grass has more flavors and the vegetables were like hard as rocks and cold..I didn't try their boba so it might be good I couldn't tell you, but my mother left her plate because it was gross, and they messed up my dads order, the egg rolls are pretty slimy and gross too but it's okay to an extent. we left fast. Fast, friendly, and helpful! Placed a large pick up order for a party that ended up being several bags of food. One of the workers assisted in carrying the bags out to my car instead of risking me spilling or dropping one or taking two trips. I didn't even ask, she moved to help without even a please. We ordered a bit of everything: lo mein, sweet and sour pork and chicken, general tsos, a shrimp dish, and a few boba teas. Everything was delicious!
