Words cannot describe how good the food is! I had the sampler platter with the mama noodles and it was amazing I literally could not stop eating and when the food was gone I wanted seconds. They give big portions which in my opinion it definitely makes it worth the price!!! Customer service was very good also Eliana took my order (sorry if that is not correct) the service was fantastic. I definitely recommend this place to everyone 10/10 must try again!!! First time coming to this tiny cool shop. They have limited seating so it's great for a grab and go. The food was amazing. Beth recommended the sampler plater to get the best experience of food. I got a side of the Flaming Balls( Hot Cheeto boudin balls. As I was about to leave she mentioned the had a red velvet cake egg roll. I said yes immediately. Wish there was the whip cream frosting. But still worth it. Very creative. Beth also was testing a egg roll filled with jambalaya. That was absolutely gold. I hope that makes the menu even if for a limited time. They were fire. read more

We tried Taste The Asian on a whim the other day and were quite pleased that we did. Taste The Asian is a food trailer that is in an auto repair shop's parking lot just off of Frazier St. in Conroe. The gentleman that took my order was extremely pleasant and from a cursory glance the food preparation area appeared very clean and orderly. I ordered the kimchi dumpling fried rice and my wife ordered the pork belly sliders. When we received our entrees we were both impressed with how beautifully they were presented. This is NOT a location that serves authentic Asian cuisine. This is Asian fusion style food and that is actually a good thing. My kimchi dumpling fried rice was absolutely delicious and had a slight spicy kick to it. Flavors of ginger and onion were perfectly balanced throughout and the dish came with two delicious pot stickers. My only complaint was the dish lacked very much chicken for the price. The pork belly sliders were delicious as well. The meat was nicely seasoned and the pork fat gave a silky mouth feel to the dish. The only improvement to the pork belly sliders would have been to add a little more meat. The pork belly sliders came with a side of fried rice that was skillfully prepared but could have been a little bit spicier. We were both pleased with our experience at Taste The Asian. There are plenty of "authentic" Asian restaurants in the area to choose from so getting Asian fusion was a nice break from the norm. This location offers an excellent flavor profile and is definitely worth checking out. Add a little more meat to the entrees and it will be a five star location. read more

This food truck sits on Lake Conroe Automotive's parking lot. It's hard to miss the vibrant colors and artwork when passing by. Whenever I am in the Conroe area, I make it a must to stop by and grab some food! I love the concept of Asian and American cuisine into one. It's just one of those things that makes sense, at least Taste the Asian got it all figured out. They have an extensive menu, so there is something for everyone. Prices and portions are just right, especially for a food truck. We have yet to try it all, but so far my family's favorites are the Mama noodles, ALL of their egg rolls, curry puffs, and shrimp cakes! Of course my kids loved their boba teas and thai iced tea. We have never been disappointed! Service was not only fast and friendly, but clean as well. The local family who own and runs this business are all so sweet and I can tell that they love what they do. I follow their social media and you can also tell that they love the Conroe community. I wasn't "Wowed," but I did enjoy my meal. I had time between appts for a quick meal and have been wanting to try this place. It took a few mins for someone to tKe my order. There were 2 ppl working and they looked pretty busy dishing out meals. No worries, I waited. The service is friendly and gave good recommendations. They hand you a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. I ordered the glass noodles with veggies and 2 egg rolls with a mango tea. Glass noodles were cooked well, but somewhat bland. I wish the veggies would have been cooked a bit longer and the overall meal been more flavorful. The tea was delicious. There's plenty of seating onsite and there are outdoor concerts held at the location. There's restrooms inside the building and the place is very clean. There are other food trucks on the premises and beer & wine is served inside the building. Readily accessible from the small parking lot. Additional parking spots are across the street. read more

On a recent Friday afternoon, my companions & I decided to try the long anticipated, Taste The Asian Food truck.. As excited as I was to try the infamous brisket Mac n cheese eggroll, they were out. Come to find out, nothing is made to order, everything is pre-made & frozen. Based on recommendation from the young lady working, I opted for the boudin eggroll & I added the shrimp cakes.. The other 2 with me got mama's noodles & brisket fried rice. We each got a bubble tea. Every single food item lacked flavor & was overly dry. The brisket fried rice was literally & extremly dry white rice with a lack of sauce which was a sad cry in attempt to compliment all the dry ingredients tossed in. The biggest waste of $50 bucks- sorry we really wanted to love it. read more

Absolutely amazing food! My husband and I have been looking for a gem like this. We used to live in CA and had great food truck options. This was, by far, the best Asian food I've ever had! Get the Sampler Platter, the brisket egg roll, and the Boba drink. Ask for a mystery drink and they will come up with something tasty.
