I have been here a couple times and they have made some upgrades from before. My son, who was 3 at the time really enjoyed himself. The size of the facility is just right, not too big, not too small. Has a couple bounce house, arcades and play area for kids to enjoy for about an hour or so. The price is not bad at all, about $15 and you can spend anywhere between $10-$20 on tokens for the arcade games easily. Have yet to try the food and I think I will pass on that anyways. I appreciate them having TVs for the grownups to watch football or other sports to keep you entertain as well. Overall, I would recommend coming here on a weekend as a place to take your little one between the ages of 2-6 to get away for a bit. read more

Loved everything about FunTime Junction! I celebrated my son's second birthday there today and everything went so smooth and hassle free. The party coordinator Amanda was amazing I must've called like 5 times to make changes to my party and every time I called she was super pleasant and helpful! Jess was my party host and from the minute I walked in she took over and I sat and relaxed. Jess is not only wonderful with the kids she was also super wonderful to the adults. Joe at the food area was super friendly and funny. The only con I had was that I wish we had the party room for a tad bit longer but I also understand that it was a Saturday and they had a ton of parties today. read more

I took my friend's kids here and they had the best time!!! Plus it was easy for me - I was easily able to keep an eye on them while they had the time of their lives. But the most impressive thing to me is what happened once we were ready to go home. I couldn't find my phone anywhere. The entire staff - from the manager Scott to the rest of the team - was incredibly helpful. They were kind to the kids, they let me use their phone, and they helped me search for it. We've been coming here for over 10 years. It's very affordable and from what I can see it's clean. My kids love coming here. We all get wristbands and get buzzed into the play area, so kids can not just walk out. Kids must wear socks because it's a no shoes play area. Parents can wear shoes inside. Plenty of rocking chairs, seating areas for parents to watch your kids play, TVs to watch. There's lots of climbing and slides, a bouncy house, a pirate themed foam ball area, a toddler area with toddler friendly toys, an amusement ride inside and lots of games and skee ball. They have a prize counter to cash in your tickets. They sell pizza and other foods along with drinks though we don't eat here. The food area is always clean, never sticky tables or overflowing garbage. Plenty of room for hanging coats in the winter. Always find the ladies room clean, no dirty toilets or smelly diapers in the garbage. Has separate changing area. You can have birthday parties here but we never did. The only thing I could say is that in all the years coming here they've never changed anything when it comes to the layout. They now have staff supervising the kids, (used to be parents watch only) which I like. Bring a sweater or light jacket because it's always freezing, at least to me it is. read more

NEVER AGAIN! $10 to get in this tiny place that gets you into the play area. There are 15 games to play. We bought $20 worth of coins which gets you 100. They could only give us 40 because they had to go empty the machines for more coins. The woman told my husband to come back in 5 minutes for the rest. He did and a guy said you shouldn't have left. But that's what she told us to do! All the games are 50 cents or a dollar. Some don't give out the tickets you should get. 3 are broken. The place is mobbed and I have 3 kids looking for something to spend their tokens on. There's an assortment of interactive arcade themed games for additional charge (ie a token card like Dave and busters) including a miniature air hockey table. Also for extra is lazer tag and helicopter ride. Not too much extra mind you. Great jungle gym, lots of tunnels etc. Bouncy house and castle. Treehouses etc. Solid cafe with seperate seating. My kids had a mix of what we brought em and some pizza from cafe. I'm thinking bout having my kids party here. There are a handful of private rooms. Great value. Clean place. Where do I start? Self-titled owner, Scott, was consistently rude to my cousins, the party hosts for their triplets. The party was scheduled from 2 to 4, and we were quickly rushed out of the room towards the end. The assigned party hostess, Cat, was kind as she helped us pack up the room so the next group, scheduled for 4 to 6, could occupy the room. Apparently, Cat, a young teen, was new. She didn't plan early enough to distribute laser tags, a purchased add-on option for party guests. Our group was given several laser tag tickets for a future visit by Scott, only after my cousin mentioned that we hadn't received them. Unfortunately, her guests had already left. I mentioned to Scott that the gesture would prove futile, as we had no intention of returning, due to the way our guests were treated(see list below). He began rambling on about all the freebies he allegedly included in the party package, one of which he mentioned was allowing three families to have one party. We reminded him that our three birthday honorees were triplets - he said he hadn't realized that! He then said that he would comp the final bill, but would deduct the amount from Cat's tip (which, by the way, IS ILLEGAL)! We told him that wasn't fair, but he replied that it was her fault we didn't get the laser tag vouchers in time and that she didn't properly manage the party/time. Keep in mind, he had just acknowledged that Cat is a new employee! We will be reporting the illegal theft of Cat's tip to the proper authorities, and hope she sees this review and does the same. Below is a list of other offenses experienced today... 1. Tripkets' grandfather (in a wheel chair) was told he could not eat popcorn on "the floor" as we were sitting, watching the triplets play, after being ejected from the party room. There was a little girl, about the age of 4, sitting next to us munching away who was not gIven the same restriction. Scott later apologized. 2. Guests were instructed to leave their gifts at the front reception, where they'd be bagged and stored til after the party. Unfortunately, my cousins had no way of accounting for the gifts they received. 3. Scott repeatedly jumped in our private conversations that he overheard concerning our dissatisfaction, and told me that I was not the host, when my cousin asked me address, in her behalf, her concerns. 4. When we told Scott that we would be voicing our feedback on yelp, he replied "yelp awsy@. If this is how you'd like to be treaated, then this is your place; otherwise any other venue has to be better than this. $26/child is way too much for the class of service and accommodations received. Update: I refuse to go back and forth with this obviously unprofessional and defensive "business owner", but I will say this: No one ever mentioned the ethnicity of anyone involved in the double standards imposed by the staff, nor did we. Air any implications. A kicked dog will s as Leary's bark.... As you can see, some weeks later, the horrible experience continues with this guy. None of us will be returning. I'd be surprised if the staff stays. He said he was going to take money from the tip that was authorized for the staff to credit the parent/party host - TERRIBLE. read more

This place has many nice activities for children of all ages. Although my biggest problem is paying for admission and then paying for tokens in order to use 95% of the activities. So the $22+ you're paying is basically only to enter the place. Go to Chuckecheese or Rise & Grow if you want much more bang for your buck! read more

We been coming here for years unfortunately the place is been declining in cleanliness and now its really showing lack of care. Bathroom are filthy first hour after opening therefore they never clean them from the day before. They using corners the facility and under slides as storages. It was OK. Not sure it was worth the 30 min drive from Bergen County but my three year old had a decent time. I did a little research before and bought the basic package and some tokens for the arcade games. Issue is that I didn't realize that the FUN bouncy house with a slide was not included. My son ran over and was pushed repeatedly out of the way by a staff member who was appointed "bouncer" for the day. By the time I got to him he was probably PUSHED aside by her three or four times. When I asked if he was allowed to bounce as I was a little confused as to why he was being shoved aside, I was told he doesn't have the correct color bracelet. No scene was made as I didn't want to put a damper on my child's time. But, I couldn't enjoy the rest of our time there, it was ruined for me. TIP FOR PATRONS - check what the price includes, or your toddler might be pushed aside. Honestly the savings I made not going local wasn't worth the unpleasant experience. I've been there twice for birthday parties (on weekends) and it's just complete mayhem. All the birthday party kids are in the one big room playing and it's so wild. They call the name of the birthday kid over the loudspeaker and you have to try to herd the kids from all over into the "party room" where you have cake and pizza and such. The big gym thing they crawl through is so intricate that you can't really see where you kid is most of the time. The bathroom was super gross- pee on the floor in front of the toilet and generally sticky. Personally, it's a really stressful place for me. Maybe it's better on the weekdays. Father of 3 girls here. I can't say enough good things about this place! First of all, don't pay attention to reviews older than 2018. The place is under new management and they are really committed to giving our kids a fun place to burn some energy, get off their stupid devices, and have fun. It was good before...it's great now! The place is clean, huge, and a great value for the money. All 3 of my kids love it, even though they are seperated by a few years...there is enough for each of them at their level. As other commenters note, sometimes it gets a bit crowded and that may overwhelm some youngsters, but no more than any other play area on days when kids are out playing. The difference here is that it's totally safe there is so much to do that kids don't have to fight over access to one particular section. My kids can't wait for their next trip. read more

Disappointed in the management (Andrew) and false advertisement on the website. We were looking for a new place to bring our 3 and 2 year old. We literally travel all over the state trying out different play areas. We found this place on the internet and thought we would take the hour drive to check it. WISH WE DIDN'T! Don't get me wrong the place had fun things for kids to do BUT you have to bring your wallet and expect to pay for almost EVERYTHING - even the jump house! So why am I disappointed.... when I approached one of the workers as to why the jump house wasn't opened he said because they didn't have enough staff. I then asked to speak with the manager (Andrew). Andrew stated that it wasn't open during the week, my daughter wasn't tall enough (even though she was) and it costs extra money. I stated that the website doesn't mention any of this. He starred at me and said "We are under renovation and our website isn't updated yet." I then stated that the website doesn't mention anything about additional prices for all of the play areas. He again stated "We are under renovation and the website isn't updated yet." As a working mom of 2 who traveled an hour to be told "the website is not updated yet" isn't acceptable. I am a business woman who runs a large company, I deal with people all day long so I understand the importance of customer service. This place was good. When we got there there were about 150 camp kids. The front desk lady asked if we minded and I said no but soon after I regretted it. It's not a huge place and with 150 school aged kids my 3 year old wasn't getting a chance to play anything! Luckily they left after an hour of us there and then we were able to enjoy ourselves. My advice, call ahead to see if any groups are there. I almost walked out. The arcade section had much to be desired. Many machines ate my tokens and very few tickets were dispensed. I've been to many arcades and ticket wise this was the worst. Broken and outdated machines ugh. If they would just keep up Maintenance such as reloading the tickets and making sure they actually worked it would be ok. The helicopter ride was definitely fun for my kiddo. No lines and only $3. The food was eh ok. Typical kid food. Not that tasty but whatever my kid ate it all without complaining so he must have liked it. Having been to similar places near home in CT, and after watching the creepy and dizzying video on their website, I had low expectations for Funtime Junction. It turned out to be a fun place to spend an afternoon with the kids. It was much cleaner and not as loud as I expected. They have EVERYTHING there: gerbil tunnels and slides, laser tag, a big playhouse, a toddler playscape, cozy coupes for little kids, skee-ball and other prize games, and a helicoptor ride. The eating area had MANY options, none of which are on the USDA food pyramid. It's typical "kid food": fried stuff, pizza, chips, cookies. And about 8 flavors of slushie!! I would recommend FunTime Junction for kids 12 and under... there's something to keep every age occupied. And since there is only one exit, which is watched by the staff, I didn't worry about my older kids running off and doing their own thing. The bathrooms were very clean, spacious, and well-lit. The website doesn't tell you what their regular price is: it's $7.50 if you pay cash, $8.50 for credit/debit. And half price for kids under 2. Adults get it free. The games and some rides cost extra. read more

BEWARE! They are under new management as of last week. We went today(Sunday 1/19/2014) and we usually would have paid $7/child for free play. We have 2 children so it would have usually came out to $14 w/ parents free. Today it was over $10/child and $3 for 1 adult which came out to $24.95!!! The reason why this place was great was because it used to be a great deal and you would have received your monies worth. Now to go there for a couple of hours for $25 is not worth it. Large jungle gym and pay extra for tokens for arcade games. Will not go back unless they lower prices or have a special going on. I wonder how much higher the party prices are now. This place has gotten a renovation and I'm a very pleased parent. They have a ton of options for the kids to jump and play. It's amazing for these winter days when you don't know what to do with the little ones. My entire family had a great time. We sipped coffee while the children danced and jumped. My husband watched the football game because we went on a Sunday (lol such a great perk that they were showing the game.) The staff was amazing and they were all treating us so kind with a smile at all times. I did notice them a little flustered on their own they seemed understaffed but they tired so hard for it to not show. Had my sons birthday party last week. Went great! The hostess was very accommodating in terms of sequence of activities. The place itself can keep kids entertained for a long time. I like the chairs facing the play area - as adults can sit and relax while watching kids. Will definitely recommend the place. The place is fun for the kids but the managing and the staff members is horrible! We got assigned a staff girl that apparently didn't like her job because even though my party started at 4 it was 4:15 guests were arriving and she was in the staff room hanging out with her coworkers, we had to call several time other staff members to check in guests, all the staffs were unwelcoming college kids, the manager wasn't around or checking, my pizza was 20 minutes late the manager said "I was not aware the food wasn't here yet " ... great managing skills! First time here visiting family from out of town. Basically it is a chucky cheese without the mouse and with fewer games. You pay $10 each to get in, then more for games, rides, laser tag, etc. Many of games were partially broken or not working at all. It may be fine for a birthday party or if raining and you have no other options, but our 2,4,&6 year-old boys were only marginally entertained. On the plus side, it was clean. Okay, why do I have to pay to get in when I have to spend $$$ to buy tokens? With two kids, I spent $20 to get them in and then had to spend another $20 on tokens. Most of the games require two tokens to play, so my two kids only played 5 games each. For $40!!!! Did you hear that? Each of my 2 kids played 5 games for $40!!! Not the cleanest environment either, might I add. Let me start by saying I should have listened to some of the reviews. This place was FILTHY DIRTY!!! It opened at 10.....we arrived at 10:15 and the garbage was overflowing. There were piles of dust on the floor and in the corners. Half of the games did not work and the staff were a bunch of high school student who didn't know their a$$ from their elbow. We did not spend much time there because I was utterly grossed out. Gave my son a bath as soon as we walked in the door. There are other places that are more fun and CLEANER! What a rip! read more

Went back today for the first time in 4 years. I was never planning on coming back bc 4 years ago when i came it was old and run down and there and nothing to do, but people have been recommending lately to go there, so i gave another shot. Apparently, there is new ownership and you can tell. The kids had a blast, while the parents can relax. We bought everything, the deluxe entrance, helicopter rides, laser tag and a $25 game card( which comes with extra game credits). It definitely was enough for the kids to spend several hours there. They also got some cool prizes afterwards with their tickets. Niko, the young gentlemen there is an asset to your team. He is kind, helpful, and great with the kids. Stands out from the rest of the staff. Don't lose him. My only complaint is at the end, Niko was the only employee in the front, and the poor guy was running around from the front entrance, to the helicopter ride, to laser tag, all while cashing out our tickets and prizes ( ps. He handled it all fantastic) but the rest of the staff that were there earlier couldn't give 2 hoots and weren't very friendly. read more

The cleanliness of the place is beyond dirty and disgusting, there are old socks, old toys, they need a good cleaning service. Beside that its inexpensive and small enough and close by. This is one of those "try to fit everything for kids into one place" from a climbing/obstacle course to laser tag. The video games are outdated and cost multiple tokens(special funtime junction ones) to play, and the food court/area is clean enough for the volume of people there, but there aren't any healthy choices on the menu. My 2 boys were there for almost 3 hrs and were pretty much done because you can't bring your own food and I wasn't buying them the fried greasy choices offered. I would say the value of admission for under $10 each was worth the time spent. read more
