Located inside the Factoria Mall in Bellevue. Great indoor playroom for toddlers and little kids. There is a lot for kids to explore and kept my son busy for almost 3 hours. His favorite was the ball area with the ball cannons. Several cannons and motorized equipment didn't work though. I would recommend going on a weekday. The weekends are way over crowded. The overall size of the venue is on the small size. There aren't many employees around to control the chaos or enforce any rules, as both times I have taken my son they just sit up front at the cash register until someone needs their attention. Cleanliness is ok and employees spray Febreze to keep the place from smelling like a locker room/sweat. My son enjoys it, so that's what matters. read more

We celebrated my son's 6th birthday here and he loved it so much that he wants to go there again and again. All the kids came to party enjoyed it to the fullest. Indoor play ground has lot of activities for kids. While kids can play, there is a lot of space for adults to sit and chitchat. I had close to 50 guests and party room is big enough for even more guests. I would highly recommend to plan kids birthday parties at this place as this is one of the favorite place for kids. This place has been a saving grace for us on cold/rainy days in the NW! The space is quite well contained for the safety of wanderers like my two kiddos! Lots of space and great for very physically active kids! We've come at least 10 times now, and as usual you experience all different types of kids and parents, and that's everywhere and everyday. ALL of the staff and facility experiences have been positive, consistently every time. Today I was so impressed I had to write a review! Prepared and about to buy another punchcard of 10 visits, I told the manager that I bought a punchcard recently, but somehow lost it! (Likely during a time when Hunter found it necessary to get into the bag, pull out everything in Mama's wallet and practicing well-meaning garbage & recycling habits in development-- I've found cash & a credit card in recycling before) Anyway... Unfortunately, I have to give a poor review for this place. My 19 month old and I were excited to play. However, the lack of customer service and professionalism made the experience horrible. Cons: -The toddler area which was rather crowded on the weekend. -Apparently toddlers aren't able to play in the other areas which had a lot more activities and space! Toddler area is rather small. -carpet and mats were dirty with food and other smudges. A little worn down and trampoline seemed to be fraying. -lack of professionalism from workers. 3 sitting at the front desk all looking at phones -A worker (maybe manager) came over to inform me we were not allowed in any of the other areas while she put food in her mouth and chewed! And, didn't come to me personally but rather shouted it openly for everyone to hear. That was not ideal and would have preferred to have been spoken to rather than yelled at for something that wasn't reinforced by staff (other babies/toddlers were also playing in the other space as we were leaving). Pros: -seemed like a nice party room area -lots of open cubbies for belongings -parking as it's in the mall We were actually thinking of hosting a birthday party here. But will no longer come back. Review for new Alderwood location The facility is located within the mall and near to JCPenny. They officially opened July 15th, but at our visit July 18th, there were only three kiddos there. The facility is neat, clean and there's a lot to do. I brought my 2 year old in hopes of finding the perfect Winter "cabin fever" solution, sadly, it didn't click all the boxes for us - but it may for someone else. Here are my comments, for what it's worth: It's a large climbing structure, goes up several levels, and has a variety of attractions within the structure. Examples include several slides, a rock climbing wall, and a trampoline. That said, I can't imagine the noise that would take place if this facility had even 30 excited kids yelling and playing. Much of the structure is made of netting for transparency, but this material does not stop or dampen the noise. Also given the height of the room itself, there is a lot of room for amplification of sound. Specifically to the point of noise, in the back of the facility there is an area where you can shoot balls from cannon guns and also use a vacuum like setup to suck up balls and collect them in wire containers. The vacuum is loud, like really loud, and the air guns for the balls are startling. Since you are playing in the front of the room and the air guns are near the back, you cannot see them. This means that the BOOM is unpredictable and unexpected. These mentionables were enough for my 2 year old to ask to leave. The loud vacuum sounds and constant booming, again even with a limited number of other children there, was enough to make her feel unsettled and ask to go. Sadly, we were there for an extremely short time and were not offered a refund or return discount. There are younger children and toddler areas near the front, but the noise generated by the features is not dampened by the net play structure, and the booming was loud regardless of location within the facility. My child does not have a sensory disorder, and is generally not fearful. I was surprised to have her ask to leave, and further surprised that she continued to talk about the loud noises for the remainder if the day (indicating it truly made her uncomfortable). I have no negatives to say against the facility or the staff, and think it would be wonderful for children who are older and more accustomed to the noise and chaos involved. We have gone to nearly all the indoor play areas between Seattle and Everett and this is the first one my daughter has asked to leave. We will wait a year and try again. Last comment to play structures similar to this in general: because if my child's age, I was asked to stick with her inside the play structure. At 5'6, this requires a considerable amount of stooping, crouching and ducking. People with young children and back problems need not apply. Furthermore, because there are several levels to the play structure, I feel questionably about my ability to reach my child to mediate a scuffle, or assist in the event if injury. My daughter LOVES it here! She will be two in September! The place is nice and clean and lots of staff through out! Price wise is is great! It is a large facility so there is so much to do! Around the play area are stools for adults to look through and hangout while the kiddos go run! If you do not like your guests and do not want to know when they arrived or left or ate or what mess they made in your house go ahead and book the party hall. I was furious at my host for arranging the party here where the crowd and noise was unbearable. One of our friends who came to the party was asked to wait for an hour because the play area was full. The 30 minutes I spent here was absolute headache Ps. The noise was due to the equipment in the play area, too loud and close to party hall. Toddler area for infants to 3 yr olds, they have quite a few large foam play structures for this age group. Of course the best is the large play structure for 3-5 year olds in the middle, a lot of variations and changed paths. The ball shooting area is fun too. However you do have to be careful about kids shooting other little kids. Parents should always be around to supervise. Overall pretty fun, slightly expensive membership though. I've watched enough Blippi videos (on practically repeat x 1 million) to have a mental list of indoor playgrounds to go to. We happened to be at the Factoria Marketplace to meet Daniel Tiger. I had no idea, though, Funtastic Playtorium was here, though. So, after the event, we were cruising around to see what else was here. My toddler prompted me to take a little stroll after I rested after making a solo round at Target(hubs had gone to the restroom to wash his hands during my toddler's evil plan). My little guy led me here and flashed his dimples, eyes pleading to open the door. I told him we'd have to ask Dada. After (regretfully) convincing my husband to give it a try, my kiddo ran off into Blippiland. There is an enclosed play area confined with nets. Socks are a must, yet it didn't seem to be monitored. While most of the adults and children obeyed the rules, I saw an adult walking around barefoot for the duration of the time we were there -- 3 LONG hours. It grossed me out, but watching my kid enjoy shooting balls out of the cannons reminiscent of American Gladiators and screaming his damn head off going down the slide for the umpteenth time made me feel a little better. There is a small toddler area near the front for kids age 35 months and younger (as per the sign on the wall). These kids are designated with red wristbands, though I saw kids (and adults) bouncing -- and surprisingly not breaking -- the trampoline. There is a rock wall in the toddler area for older kids, but not the post-pubescent age. The employees (at least when we were there -- a Saturday afternoon) looked to be high schoolers mostly huddled around the cash register, talking amongst themselves. While I did see one employee enforcing the age rules at the toddler area, it seemed totally random. She kind of missed the 180-lb man-child jumping on the trampoline. Never did I see an employee patrolling the bigger play area. But I guess you do have to sign a waiver, so if shit goes down, it's all on your ass. They're seemingly just there to greet you, take your money, slap wristbands on you and your child, and chit-chat. My hubs also found some of the equipment wasn't working quite right. Some of the equipment in the toddler area was quite worn too. Disappointing. Guess if you're not a wannabe Peewee Herman being followed by cameras, ain't no one got time for repairs. Of course, though, if my kiddo could write this review, he'd say "OHMYGODIHADSOMUCHFUNBESTPLAYGROUNDEVER." So, I give an extra star because had we not taken the batteries out of the Energizer Bunny, this kiddo would have kept going. And I guess this is what matters most. We've been taking out 2.5 yr old son and 1 yr old daughter to FP since they opened almost a year ago. There are pros and cons to the place. Pros: - our 2.5 yr old son loves to jump on the trampoline, climb up into the maze, shoot down the slide and fire the air cannons. - the snacks available for purchase are great in a pinch - good place on a rainy day for a busy active child - toddler area is great. Little trampoline is perfect size. Our 1 yr old loves the turning wheel and climbing into the shape pit. Cons: - while it is posted that only toddlers are allowed in the toddler area except for the climbing wall was a bit poorly designed. - have had to run interference constantly while there to protect both our children from older larger children who come racing into the toddler area, jump on their trampoline and hog the turning wheel. The staff stand by and do nothing until I call the kid out and tell them the child is hurting the smaller children. Multiple times the older children are pushing and/ knocking the little ones down. The staff sees it - but they won't engage until a parent forces the issue. we've had to step in multiple times out of the safety of our own children and get in the Childs face and tell them to leave the toddler area several times. - Staff do not expel Children for repeated poor behavior even after multiple warnings. - on rainy days the place is a mad house. There does not appear to be any crowd/limit to the number of children they allow in the place and it's crazy. My son has been run down and hit by older children and neither the parents nor the staff seem to care. We recently celebrated our daughters 1st birthday here. There is only one party room. You get 15 min to set up before your event (and that includes waiting for families to clear out before you're allowed to begin setting up). FP does provide 2 staff to help set up and tear down and the two helpers were very nice, hard working and fast at sweeping, cleaning and helping you pack and unpack - but the time limits on the room and the speed in which you must wrap up is manic! Out daughters party started at 12.30pm and we had to be out by 2pm. Not really that relaxing. And when you have family and friends who are running late it makes it a bit stressful wanting to wait for them, but realizing the clock is ticking and you have to wrap up. What more there's not much FP provides when it comes to their party room - they don't even have high chairs, we had to bring our own. FP only provides the room, which includes 7 tables and little people chairs in which to sit that's all, nothing else. You must bring all party supplies with you including, any food, plates, table cloths and silverware, as well as, all decorations. Other places we've been they offer packages like appetizers, pizza and they decorate the room and offer add-on items like balloons and party favors - but not the case here. So better plan ahead and think things through - least you find yourself with a one yr old and no chair to put them in the celebrate! What more they suggest using their back door as an easier way to bring your wagon/cart of party supply items in/out, yet none of the FP staff is near the back door to hear you knock and let you in, so you are stuck there calling FP asking someone to come back and let you in. Also, if you don't have a stroller and/or wagon large enough to haul all your party supplies and food in, they have you use a Target shopping cart! It is what it is. Not a place I'd host another birthday party. Our decision to go with FP was based on logistics more than anything else and nothing more. Also, it appears FP is monitored by mostly teenagers. We Didn't see or talk with anyone who looked looked old enough to be a manager the whole time we were there. All I can say is thank goodness it was a pretty day the day of our daughters birthday, otherwise the area would have been packed with kids and the cut my son received on his temple could have been much worse. read more

This is a fun place with lots to do for kids under 7 or 8. Older than that, they may get bored or get into trouble. The cost is reasonable at $12 for all day. At least parents are free, unlike the ripoff Bellevue Children's Museum where parents cost the same as kids. You can play, level for lunch, and return. Love that aspect of it. What needs work is the staff. They are teenagers, and they were all on their phones rather than watching the kids. If I were the manager, I'd address this. With all the parents on their phones, and the staff, this is a zombie land where kids are running wild without supervision. It's a safety factor as well because the staff is blocking the door. I'm writing this review as the mother of a 21-month-old. It is loud, but the noise level is exactly what you'd imagine a big play-place to be... on busy days don't expect to be able to yell your kid's name and them hear it. Even when it's super busy, there still seems to be enough room in the giant play structure to fit everyone comfortably. Older kids run around like crazy, but they can't be fast enough to hurt you because it's an obstacle course, not flat and easy to get through. Pros: -inexpensive, especially for the size and different activities -toddler area separate from the main play structure -tons of cubbies to store your items -only a few openings into/out of the play structure, so you are less likely to lose a child who bolts out -unique toddler area with a trampoline and musical mat -seriously tires kids out -my 1-year-old was able to do nearly everything (keep in mind he's very social, not easily intimidated, and crazy-active) -adults can go into the structure too! It's great for parents of toddlers like mine, who need a little help... though it's exhausting. Cons: -no drinking fountains... I don't even know how that's allowed in a place like this -only 2 bathrooms -the giant octopus wasn't working -the toddler area isn't manned by staff, so there were a few older kids who definitely shouldn't have been in there -it can get really crowded, so it's easy to lose a child read more

This place is more suitable for older children who can play independently. It is VERY loud but this doesn't bother most children because their screams and laughter just blend in. It is mostly the parents lounging around that would be bothered. But if your child is sensitive to noise then I wouldn't recommend this place. It is what you would imagine a "playtorium" would sound like. The play structure is GREAT. It's multilevel with plenty of secret passage ways, nooks and crannies, slides, a zipline and trampolines! I'm going to be honest that even I, a full grown adult thoroughly enjoy this place. I get SO exhausted. My kids and I like to play hide and seek and it's quite the challenge with all the hiding spots and all the children! There is plenty of seating for adults and there is now an unlimited time option for $12. They have a section for kids 3 and under with a small trampoline and a wheel and plenty of other stuff. It's very new, management is still learning and growing! I think this place is awesome as provides exercise, cultivates creativity and social skills. This is more of a review for Birthdays. You only get 50 minutes, they have 1 large room and they book parties every hour you have 10 minutes before to set up but you have to use your allotted 50 minute use of the room to clean up. You get 1 staff member to assist you in set up, clean up and serving, which was really nice. However 50 minutes is not realistic, some parties ran laten resulting in pushback of all subsequent birthdays. They really need to do parties in 1hr 30 increments or 2hr increments. But birthday parties on the hour brings in more money. *Le Sigh* The play place is incredible and for that They get 3 instead of 2 stars. I love the separate baby/toddler area. This review is for a party planned & conducted at Factoria location. 15th Jan 2018: We reserved the party hall for my kid's birthday on 24th Feb at 5:45 PM. Paid the advance and got the confirmation mail. 24th Feb 2018: When we arrived to decorate the hall, we were told that we did not have the reservation and the hall has been taken for another event. I was shocked! When I showed them the email confirmation, they panicked and started finger pointing/blaming the person in front of us instead of discussing and planning the next steps. Then after their long discussion, they gave me these options - Back room [which was so small and is on the way to rest room. Jheez!] - Take the party outside of the place, in the open area of mall [No, thanks!] - Take the party to their another location in Alderwood mall. [What! Seriously? Tell all my guests who have already come to go to a new location which is 45 mins drive?] - Move and make the party private after the store closes at 8:30 PM. [Did you forget that its a 3 year old Kid's birthday party and they sleep by 8?] - On one of the side of main play area which is hardly a 3 feet space. After discussing with the manager and her boss, we agreed on the last option only if they not charge me anything, try to make that space private and reimburse the money that I spent on the decorations as there was no space in that open area on the side for any decorations. Every one agreed. This whole discussion took more than an hour to sort out and we were very tired. The most irritating part was after the party. When we wrapped things up and went to see manager for reimbursement, this person at the counter introduced himself as owner, denied to give any reimbursement. He said that we should appreciate him for giving the place and not kicking us out saying sorry. We were telling him to call to the people we talked to and ask them about this agreed refund, he didn't agree and continued saying he is the owner, there is no policy of refund and we are not getting any refund. At first, he wouldn't accept the mistake of his team and then when he did, he said these things to us - Not a policy [Yes, there is no policy. We are your customers, don't go back on your own team's words who agreed on something representing you. Be courteous to your customers. Giving that space and making the party happen is appreciated but it is because there was a honest mistake from your team.] - I have not made my hair grey by standing in sun. Don't start teaching me rules coming to USA [what!!!! Seriously, are you going to play that card now?] - The store lost lot of money because they had put many kids on wait list. [Whose mistake was it in first place? FUNtastic playtorium is indeed about fun! This is one of the few favorite play areas I take my nephews at. The space is decent enough to occupy at least 100 kids, who knows, even more! My 2-year old nephew had his 2nd birthday at this place, and it was a blast! The staff took care of us and even helped us out with the decorations. The party area is also spacious! As for the play area itself, I love how they designed it that the kids can actually play something like obstacle courses, and guess what? I, myself love to play, go up and down the courses, and play on their slides! Bonus points, well at least for adults like me (not for kids, maybe? lol) is that there's a candy store in front of it with lots of variety of candies to choose from. The Wi-Fi is incredible poor so don't expect to get any work done while your kids are playing. When I asked about it the college kids working there told me 'it is that way'. The entire place is dirty and smells funny. You would think they would have a drinking fountain, right? No instead they charge you $1.10 for a small bottle of water. My son has some sensory issues and I thought this place might be a little much for him BUT he was stand offish at first for about thirty minutes and then out of nowhere he went to go play with the balls and within ten minutes he was inside the structure playing! It's really loud, the ball area is the loudest. Seems like it echos in there my son loved it! I just can't stand when older kids are running around playing! I mean what does a 12 year old need to be doing there? My kid is 3 and kept getting knocked down by this group of kids. I love this place. It's not always crowded and there's plenty to do for kids. Mine are 3 & 1 and are always played-out by the end of the two hour play time. I'm so glad for this place and I find myself playing along with my kids more than at home. Everything is engaging and fun. The ball and air area are super as it gets everyone working together. The toddler area is well supervised and my baby loves it. The slide is great fun as well, I've been on it a bunch! Haha! The price is steep but this place is clean and the play structures are ultra safe and sturdy. I've been here twice now and love that something like this is around. I really am only a fan of this place because my 17 month old daughter had such a fun time. I mean - its that what it's all about? We were here for a birthday party and the party room outback is a good size room that can accommodate about 50 people comfortable. The play area is rather large and plenty for kids to wander around and have some fun. As an adult if you were to join your kid inside the climbing areas to make sure they are okay is a bit challenging if you're above 5' 5" as the ceiling and climbing areas are pretty low. The toddler area consists of a small trampoline and a couple things to climb on by if your kid is walking they'd get bored of it pretty quickly. There really isn't anything about this place that just WOWs me personally, but again as mentioned my kid loved it so that's all that matters. From a parental standpoint - i wasn't overly thrilled about the staff there - younger kids manning the front area all just chit chatting and looking at their phones. One child slid down the slide and flipped forward and hit her mouth, nothing serious, but as she yelled crying and her mom on the outside trying to get in, the staff had zero reaction whatsoever. UPDATE 7/27/2016 Thankfully, they now have WiFi, but it is not 100% reliable. Extremely loud and noisy. Bring ear plugs or a headphone. I would give them five stars, but THEY DO NOT OFFER WIFI! I went there once expecting WiFi so I could work while the kids play, but they said that it doesn't work right now. I just called back, and would have gone there, but again, they said, "It doesn't work right now." At a place like this WiFi is a MUST for busy parents who really need to get some work done. read more

Good fun. Safe environment. One of the better play areas in the region. Usually an hour is enough.
