Lovely park specially on summer. Spray park is so much fun for kids. Whale is the best one! We like there cushioned and non slip floor. Mostly toddlers with their caregivers. Not too many shadows to chase or sit down. Easy to find a parking spot in their parking lot. The shelter is near this spray park for a birthday party. There was kind of a politic speech at the moment but kids were very loud and enjoying. read more

Probably one of the best parks/playgrounds around! We were pleasantly surprised to find this park, conveniently located adjacent to the community center. Parking is terrible! And tricky to come by, especially on hot summer mornings, before lunchtime and nap time. The playground looks newer and is wonderfully arranged so as to give older and younger children safe places to play alongside one another. The water/splash park is the best! The ground is soft, even bouncy/foamy turf, relatively cool on bare feet and for slippery landings. A "rock" wall to climb, a mamma orca and her two young calf, each spraying water from their blowholes, a frog squirting water and even an Ogopogo sea monster. So much to climb, slide, play on and around. Oh! And even a half-sunken boat! My only qualm is the lack of tree covering which makes shaded areas highly coveted and so hard to acquire in the hot summer days. What a truly fabulous park! read more

Great park. Plenty of parking spread across two parking lots. Huge open field with a few shelters and grills. Also a water park open from memorial weekend until labor day. The playground was recently renovated, all new. Kids love it. There is also a lower playground closer to crossroads mall. Also a great location that has more shades on really sunny days. read more

Larger than your think. Crossroads Park is located above Crossroads Shopping Center. The most familiar portion of the park is the part that can be seen street side on NE 8th Street. Though the park does extend further to the west and north. The part of the park facing NE 8th Street is where the annual Bellevue Strawberry Festival is held each year in late June. It is also a popular family park spot as there is a playground and covered picnic tables here. And there is a water spray area that is great for those hot summer days. While this part of the park is the most frequented, the park has much more to offer. The park has nice walking trails that are surprisingly quite hilly. As well as a nice area further to the west in this hilly section that would make for a good sunbathing spot. And in the lower portion of the park, there are tennis and basketball courts plus a skateboard bowl. I had thought this was mainly a park for the kids, but I was wrong. This park really has something to offer people of all ages. There are many amenities here and I would encourage checking out the full park, not just one section. read more

"Orca Park" so names by the kiddos because of the Orca pod sculpture in the park. There is a lot of space in this park with a nice playground area. There's a nice sidewalk area encircling the park (beginner bikers and baby strollers area!), picnic shelters and tables. read more

The new million-dollar-plus fountain park is a lot of fun, and you can tell, because it's always packed! Funded in part by the Rotary International organization, it has a huge marble globe that floats in a pool of water that has their name around the base, a bunch of squirty sea-rock looking things, and a mama orca and two babies. Every time we've been there, some part of the park has not been working and has been taped off, so I've dinged them a star until they can get everything to work. The "floor" surface is blue recycled rubber soft stuff but it can get pretty warm on a sunny day so Crocs or Tevas are a good idea. There's lots of grassy area around the park and several benches and picnic tables but if you're bringing a little one, you need to be prepared to bring your own shade... there are no shady places nearby. The playground is close, the restrooms are just on the other side of that, and the best parking lot is the one accessed off 164th Ave NE. read more

Wonderful little splash park that was perfect for my 15 month old to run around and stay cool. I loved that the playground was right next to it so he could run back and forth between the two, and the ground material softened any falls. Very cute, very fun, highly recommend. Definitely recommend arriving right at opening time though because it gets crowded quickly. read more

Crossroads Park is a great park. It's definitely kid friendly and there is a cool water playground structure thing kids can play with in the summer pre-covid, there is a big whale structure thing you climb up on and it shoots water, you slide down on it kinda like a water slide, but the whale is round, some mini whales too that shoot out water, and a normal average playground that does not involve water. There is also a grass area and you can walk around the grass area. Great for summer/spring time! Would recommend. read more

I have lived in this area for many years.....and what a great use of land! This park is a wonderful hub of neighborhood activity, from people using the large grass area to throw a football or a frisbee, to people exercising by walking around the path that goes all around the park. There is a large play area for kids and in the summer there is a water feature for playing and wading. Many people also use this park for BBQ's picnics and birthday parties. Restroom facilities are available along with ample parking. Great place to bring your family for a couple of hours. read more

What a great park! I remember when this corner was home to a roller rink - this redevelopment is a big improvement. I spent two hours here with my 15 month old granddaughter on a very hot day and we both enjoyed the many different structures that intermittently sprayed or spurted water. She especially enjoyed the big rock ball that although stationary could be rolled around, changing the patterns of water that bubbled up underneath it. There are also two different big toys as well as several covered shelters with picnic tables. Word of advice - bring buckets or other water collecting toys if your kids enjoy that kind of thing. I didn't have them but I will next time! read more

Crossroads Park is a nice little park above the crossroads mall. It kind of has a couple of sections. The main part has a big grass field, a playground, an iconic whale the shoots water in the summer, and a covered that can be reserved for events with bbq grill stands. There is a path in a circle around the grass field for walking, plenty of garbage and recycling bins, benches, and at least 2 water fountains. There is also a bathroom that is well-enough maintained, but is pretty stark. If you leave the main area, you'll pass another long grass field that is usually waterlogged, a youth theater, and a skate park. I can't attest to the quality of the skate park. Beyond that there is another playground near some picnic benches and a long wooded area that opens up to a small golf course and a community garden. The park never gets too busy (unless there is an event) and is an excellent place to put up a volleyball net and enjoy a nice day. read more

I really need to go here when it's not just for the Strawberry Festival!! I forget how amazing this park seems when it isn't covered with all of the festival stuff and overflowing with crowds of people! Definitely need to remember to swing by on a nice non-festival day ;) That said, this is a really nice park for events. You can fit a lot and there is plenty of room for lots of activities. The play structures and various play items are tons of fun for the kiddos too. I'm pretty sure mine will be completely mesmerized by that killer whale when it's not teeming with other kids too! My family went to this park for the first time, and we thought it was great. The area is clean and big enough, plus you can host little parties for your kids. There was a couple of little play areas for the little ones to run around in and on, and the water park nearby is just as fun, especially on a sunny day in Seattle. The only drawback is that I wish the playground had some swings since my daughter loves that. read more

Still love! We met up with my baby group here and they all had a blast! The toddlers were running around enjoying themselves and the babies were content watching big brothers/sisters and snacking! Love this place, I know there was that strip coffee shop issue, but its all over. Anyways I love coming to this place, I remember when I first moved from West Seattle to Bellevue...This park was the first place I visited and it gives me so many memories. Looking at the little kids playing (no pedo.) reminds me if the good old days back in elementary school. Anyways, today's a good day to walk my dog and go for a jog. This is great park. There is a lot of green grass to run around on, picnic tables for lunch in the shade and public bathrooms. I bring my kids here for play dates often. They enjoy the fun playground and the splash park is awesome on those hot days. Best of all is it's free. read more

This is a nice park that is right by the Crossroads Mall. It has really improved, with the new Bellevue Youth Theatre and Skate Park. There is plenty of open space for your dogs and to walk around in. There is some parking at the Boys & Girls Club, which is conveniently located there, as well as at the Crossroads Mall area. read more

Amazing park that has almost everything you could ask for. We feel so lucky to live within a short walking distance to the park and are there almost daily. All they need is a small off leash area which could easily be added in the long strip behind the golf course building. read more

Great park with a number of picnic tables with shade/roof covering. They have a great sprinkler park where the kids can run through water (or sit on a whale with sprinklers) when the weather is warm out. Kids of all ages can enjoy the sprinkler park as they have several sections for different age groups. Very clean park. There doesn't seem to be enough parking but it is worth the visit. read more

Great park for family outings. Had a blast going here several times for summer camp. The kids enjoyed the splash park more than I thought they would. If you follow the path there is a nice skate park and a more remote shaded play ground area with basketball hoops down below. Great area to escape to if it gets too hot. Lots of quick fast food joints around if you forgot to bring food. Plenty of convenience stores to grab some gator AIDS for basketball or whatever you do. As well as the crossroads mall is right around the corner and they have a great local market! read more

This place is a lot of fun and perfect for kids of all ages. The 'Spray Park' is amazing. The surface is nice/soft rubber product, the "spray" comes from great big orcas, climbing walls, froggies, etc. The marble globe that floats/spins in water is really beautiful. A nice little area to the side is perfect for the smaller kids and the big kids avoid it. So it's perfect! The playground/climbing toys are also great. One set for bigger kids, another for younger. Lots of paved paths for those learning to ride a bike. The restrooms are right next to the play areas, whew! It will be packed on hot days but we NEVER have trouble parking. Many people walk or play with their dogs. Was really bizarre this week when the media kept saying that the new "Knotty Bodies Espresso" (scantily clad baristas) was visible to children at the park. It is *not.* Yes, it's yards away from the S.E. border of the park but through some shrubbery and a berm. AND there are no windows facing the park. So, if concerned about a child seeing a bikini barista, no worries - they can't. Unless you literally take them over there. read more
